    Great content. I'm finishing my restore of my 1975 Honda CB 360t. Did it all myself. Love that bike. Had one I bought off the show room floor in college. First thing new I ever owned. Needed to recapture that lightning in a bottle again, so I found a junk one and brought it back to nearly show room

      If the T isn’t twin then why did they use “quad” as a suffix? That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.

    Nice video..
    I had one in the yearly 80s
    Enjoyed it very much, I just
    Don't remember what I did with it now.
    Maybe I gave it away like I did with a Harley Davidson I owned a few years later

    Bike sounds really good
    Biggest thing I see on these is they throw the cam chain offit gets too loose, adjust often or they make a static bolt adjuster now ttr400

    The CB360T means disk front brake. Or I was just lied too for 40 years.

    • @throttlecompany
      @throttlecompany  2 роки тому

      The 360T does have a disc brake. But it doesn’t *mean* disc brake. Either way we use historical references not word of mouth to be sure.

    Cool video! I’m rebuilding my 75 CB360T now. Majority of my parts came from Common-Motor.com. I’ve used all of Brendans videos to do all the work myself. I really look forward to my garage time with the bike. By Summer She’s gonna be ready. For others, viewers, there’s also many other websites that sell parts for these, NOS and Aftermarket.

      I have one also. About how much have you put into it if you don't mind me asking. I'm wondering if it's worth it

    I just got a real 1974 cl360 scrambler. I’m torn on restoring to original or cafe racer.

    Hi, honda CAR guy starting to warm up to the idea of motorcycles considering im a texan and live in a smaller town outside of dfw so I could get around locally on a bike if I wanted. Would you or anyone here recommend this a trail 90 or something else to a beginner motorcycle rider who already loves honda.

    • @throttlecompany
      @throttlecompany  2 роки тому +2

      Great! I would not recommend anything smaller than a 125cc bike. 350-500cc is best. A Trail 90 is more of a novelty than a “real” motorcycle. They are fun, but just not really the same thing.

      Common-motor collective on youtube and the web has dozens of how to videos. Enough to rebuild the whole bike. I’m doing mine now. Very cool.

      @@throttlecompany i totally agree its not worth it, i was just stating that you can cause in the video he states that they cannot be EFI.... was just correcting that it can be made EFI but i agree it is shit if you do, lol

    • @throttlecompany
      @throttlecompany  2 роки тому

      I went back and watched the video and you completely missed the point of what I was talking about. I said you can't install EFI for the Vintage 1000. The Vintage 1000 is an event with rules about installing modern equipment on vintage motorcycles. So, for that event you cannot install EFI. You have corrected nothing and contributed nothing.

      @@throttlecompany wow. sorry, i didnt mean to offend you or your channel. i should not have used the word corrected. again i am sorry for hurting your feelings, i just quicjkly heard something about not being able to efi and had seen it done so ididnt want anyone to be discouraged to not try it if they wanted too, even if just for learning about efi conversions on old bikes. Again, i apologize, i have been riding my cb360 since 2005 and am a big fan of the bikes and appreciate you videos and content. i hate that i offended you but didnt mean it as an attack. sorry, good luck, i will go through and like all your videos and sub to show i meant no ill will :)

    It's stated that the 6th gear was added for highway use - probably not the reason. Far as I can tell, it was simply to match what the competition was offering at the time. BTW, it wasn't even that well engineered, as the jump from 1st to 2nd is WAY too wide. The 5 speed gearbox on it's predecessor, the 350, was much better thought out.

    • @throttlecompany
      @throttlecompany  9 днів тому

      This is a quote from Honda’s ad when the CB360T came out “Sixth gear provides economical highway operation.” Google it.

    • @bradyt7857
      @bradyt7857 7 днів тому

      A slightly odd advertising point, although there was a gas crunch going on at the time (Six speed boxes were generally used to help acceleration). To be fair, Honda's economy claim may have been said with a wink and a nod - I own a CB360T, and the acceleration is actually somewhat impressive.
