Most of the reconditioned stuff is great, but I made the mistake on buying a reconditioned battery and it lasted less than a year. So I wouldn't suggest those. Great video as I run the same vacuum and was thinking about buying the off brands. Now I know not to.

Ive actaully had good luck with the reconditioned batteries, the first ryobi tools I bought were reconditioned, but I may have just been lucky.

I have 2 20v DeWalt 5ah knockoffs and although I haven't done a measured comparison they perform well for me on all my 20v DW tools.

I bought Milwaukee knock offs batteries, they didn’t last!
