Hey mate! Thank you for the very comprehensive answer! Every tip seem very reasonable and I will slowly try them and see what works the best for me. Gl in the tables and overall wish you all the best!
bro i swear, the tank is just to make you think they are an idiot fish. there are some questionable punts that always end up hitting something they had to know it was coming lmao
I had a guy on gg the other day on 100nl call a 1.5x overbet jam 200bb deep on the turn with a 6-3 gutshot, no pair. He had around 6% and hit it. Makes you wonder
Yeah i had kinda similar equities a couple of times throughout the journey and lost. It wasnt for such amount of money though any of it cause it mostly happen in tournaments.
Damn bro i feel your pain, your ability to stay upbeat in the face of this downer is inspirational. I will say that ive had 10+ perfect perfect runner runner quads, had top set KK lose vs under pair go 88 allin on flop, top set AA lose to 55 runna quads, its happens so much on GG ive never seen stuff like this anywhere. But outside of that, i will say this about your game and what ive noticed in your game and i would imagine all your reg opponents have as well, you seem to take every "mandatory bluff spot" check vs with our value looks like it prints. But im obviously not seeing all your hands so maybe you are perfectly balanced idk. Either way do enjoy your content and wishing you a triumphant comeback
10+ is totally insane wtf. i genuinely appreciate your awareness that i don't post every hand so the videos paint my sessions in a certain light. ofc if i have a set and bet turn and river and get called it won't ever make the video because it isn't an interesting of funny result for the video haha. BUT all that said, i do get called down extortionately light in a number of spots and at this point, i can only really attribute some of them to these videos lol. on the other hand, when i do find top 5% distribution i'll prob win all the marbles hahaha
gg's man feel you soso much, lost AJo v AJo AI pre deep in the 22$ WCOOP phase with 65k UT... BUUUUT i love you BBB!!!! loving the IG interactions and content btw tyty and keep on keeping on friend!
My worst bad beat was a 500 bb pot with k10 hh vs JQss on 10s 10x 3x Ks. All in on turn in 3bet pot. River 9s. Villain bluff jammed my turn check raise and binked the 2 outer
I remember doing a Micro MTT/SnG or something getting it in OTF and I had UP vs Set or something I dunno my exact combo/board, it was something like 55s vs TTs on say a Txx board, it was like 5 years ago, anyhow I had 0.2% OTF and I looked away at another table play another hand expecting this to bust, did a few more other tables then looked back at this table ready to close it and I saw I had doubled up and I was astounded, checked replayer to see I had hit runner-runner quads. Probably worst I have seen.
Love your content and thought process as always… Hand in an app: about $550 effective ($1.50/$3.00 blinds). Whale opens 3x folds to me in BB I have JJ and make it 15 BBs. Flop is J73, I cbet 1/2 pot, whale jams and I snap. He has 97o. I have run it twice always checked, he clicks go once. Turn 7, river 7.
This k8s its really one hand to find this fold and make printscreen for friends. But we need to play a-game ,this line is never bluff and i think like you said not too much players try to fold yours 8x with 8x :D
I experienced a beat probably equally as sick in terms of rarity in a live cash game recently. Long story short, I got the nut flush draw all-in after betting 90% pot for a shove on the turn (3bet pot, villain is a fish who called the straddle then called the 3bet, initial raiser folded pre). He has a worse flush draw with no pair. We run it twice and he pairs up on both. Sick game.
Worst bad beat i saw on GG so far is that streamer guy missing the BBJ because of a one outer on the river on 200nl (allin on turn) QQ vs KK on AAxA. A on the river. RIP 14000 dollars.
There was a hand like this on high stakes poker when back in the day. Johnny chan had aa in a 4 bet pot I believe. And kq flopped air then check raised all in. They ran it 3 times. Aa won all 3
Great video Bena! I’ll tell you my worst bad beat. Hero with AA, flop A89. All in on flop. Villain had 89. Can you guess the next 2 cards? I was a 500/1 chance to lose that hand.
Was playing PLO and two players got it in on the flop of KKx (only for 40bb each or so) and one had AA other had KK, running aces for quads was the sickest ive ever seen
At recess in high school some guys got AA vs AT all in on ATx flop. Obv AT won :D. That was within like my first 1000 hands and to this day I don't think I've seen another 0.1%er. I guess it was just a joke but I'd like to point out that the equities really don't matter when considering running it twice.
Been there so many times, just got out of a huge hole that it almost broke me. Hang in there mate, as long as you play your A game, results going to come! Btw I've had a worst bad beat playing live poker, i had K9 on K92 and whale had K7 no backdoors at all. Turn and river both 7 xD. GL GL!
thank you for the words of encouragement mate - genuinely appreciate it so much. that's totally it - play well and results will always turn around. looool that K9 is so so gross :D
I had KK and AA back-to-back. Go allin pre and get called by the same player, who each time had some joke of hand like Q8o. We chopped one (we both played the board), and I lost the other (board came out 4-flush and Villain had one of the suits).
Through a process of elimination (eliminating all hands that would have too high an equity, while knowing should be 2%, combined with likely 4 bet hand), was happy to guess KQo exactly being the most likely hand before it was flipped. I've sadly personally also lost a 10k pot with very similar 97 or 98% in PLO5.
On the k8s hand, if you didn't donk bet river and got shoved on, would it be a slam dunk call in that situation, or would you still feel the same logic applies as the case where you donked? Villain should probably not be value shoving a 8 after being checked to, so we can make the same fold?
that's a very good question and it's hard to say for sure, but my sense is that i would still be very unhappy about facing ip shove, BUT i'd be hating it less than the line that actually happened. even though both are supremely underbluffed, i think the shove ip vs check has a tiiiiiiiny bit higher chance of them just having an 8. honestly folding in both scenarios just has to be the best play though imo
The worst I’ve ever had was AT vs A8 all in pre in a tournament. Flop was ATx so I am sitting comfortably with the % chance of villain winning at 0.3%. Then it comes 8 turn, 8 river and I have never felt so sick
In a 109 bounty builder on stars about 5 years ago with about 120 players left, I had KK against AA my SB against BB all went in pre, flop come A22, then running K K for quads, I went on to win the tourney! So crazy it was a 235bb pot too put me as chip leader with 119 left I didn't lose chip lead until 3 left but won it anyway will never forget everything about that tourney 12k win
I might fold the K8s vs a few players in my pool. But at the end of the day hero folding boats in giga cooler spots isnt where longterm winrates happen. You don't want to make a habit of paying off value heavy spots but this one would be quite the fold. I have seen a worse cooler. I saw KK vs KQ on Q237 3bet pot. They run get it in on the turn and run it twice guy binks a queen both times. Thats a 4% on the first run and 2% on the second run for a total odds of 99.2% v 0.8%. Funnily enough I saw the same guy do it again a week later.
you're 100% right regarding your first point - but equally if we see no bluffs we prob don't need to call! yeah that second bad beat i actually did pretty much the exact same beat to someone loool
Nearly EXACT same thing happened to me in a Tournament for $60k up top with 18 people to go (1300+ entrants). 1st in chips literally check-shoved on a board like that and I snapped with AA (3rd in chips).. runner runner K... then Q... and then a broken laptop. Still have that bad beat ingrained in my head lol.
😄😄 Really though the bad beat would be something like runner runner straight flush or something like that. I've head a few of these, nothing too spectacular tbh. Btw, i've been playing gg for some time and something is off there. From your videos, most money you usually lose at GG. What's the tipping point to call it quits with this site? I don't trust it at all to be honest and i've been playing longer than you i think and something is def off with it
honestly i just can't bring myself to quit when i see such great EV in the games. I have plenty of friends that have played millions of hands at gg1k and it isn't super uncommon for them to have both 100bi downswings as well as upswings. i guess if the games were to dry up (which is very unlikely) then that would be the only time i'd choose to stop playing there i think. remember with rakeback and bonuses (albeit i'm way above BBJ EV), i'm not losing much, if at all overall there
In a GG 200bb ante game with straddle I open BTN with AA, SB 3bets, I 4bet - he calls. Flop is A35, he pots, I call. Turn is a jack; he overbets 200%, I jam, he calls. He has 22 - and gets the 4 on the river. Losing to an inside straight 4 outer isn't on the same level as yours but its my worst beat as it was a 760bb pot - biggest pot I've ever lost 😂. I declined cash out and run it twice if he asked because I'm like a 90% favourite or whatever.....some poker friends later told me they may have used cadh out on this occasion given the pot size.
Ive had a few like this. in the same week I had two people go runner runner A A all in on the flop. First time I had 88 vs AJ on a J 8 4 flop and the second I had 7 9 against AK on a 7 7 6 flop. But the worst I've seen was in my favor. I had A 4 on Q 4 10 beat Q Q with running 4's
With 8 full I would have made the fold..I would have put him on quads or 9s... The biggest improvement in my game has been able to make discipline folds...u find that live players find it easier to make these folds as oppose to online players who always find it hard to fold..its a massive part of being a good poker player learning to fold that I'm starting to do very well.
The worst beat I had was in a small buy in tournament. I had QQ and flop came: Q77. I bet the flop and my opponent shoved all in on the flop holding:: 55. Turn and river was: 55. I think you did the right thing not cashing out on both streets 👍
My worst bad beat pocket Aces..flop a 7 k... villan goes all in with pocket k... turn and river kk. That was on the bubble of a 109 tournament 25 k 1st prize..that would have made me chip leader 😢😢
Same happened to me. Mby even worse if we consider, that he had 2 more queens and 3 more kings to come. I flopped the nut straight. Guy had pair of 6s. Turn was a T, River another T and therefore he boated up. Btw, it was a live poker hand, for those, who think "online is rigged", lol.
Yeah bad beat sure. But seriously that kind of stuff and way worse happens every online cash session I play. Quite surprised definitely a little anticlimactic
I feel like you and I are literally going through the same year. Except you at high stakes and I at mid stakes. Maybe we need to leave GG haha. All I can say is I hope it gets better for you bro
Pretty rough last hand, but I'm willing to bet that if you look at your hand histories and filter on your equity on flop when you're all-in, you will have experienced worse bad beats (i.e. villain had 6 cards available to runner runner... I'm betting that you've been in spots where villain may have only had 4 or less cards to runner. The ultimate is obviously where they only have 2 specific cards to runner... those sort of situations are typically 2/45 * 1/44 likelihoods... which is basically 1-in-a-thousand). In contrast, yours was 6/45 * 5/44 which is 3-in-200 type likelihood (ignoring chops). When you play millions of hands, those sort of things happening become very likely... eventually.
no there won’t be worse beats haha. I did give a beat worse than this a long while ago though where I got it in on the turn with 2 outs, ran it twice and hit both
I have heard basically no one is winning on GG 1K before rb, what do you think about that? Would you rather play in pool where decent winrates are possible before rb or do you just not care about that where the money comes from in the end?
i said this before, but i genuinely believe that with my game selection i have a positive (maybe small) winrate on gg 1k. remember a lot of these losses at from 500nl ante (where some are winning at like 20bb lol). but i would 100% rather play a pool where i have winrate rather than rb being winrate. psychologically that is a lot more rewarding to my monkey brain lol
@@BenaBadBeatPoker yeah fair enough. Didn’t talk about you specifically because I believe you belong to the strongest 1K GG regs. But I have seems statistics where only like 3-4 regs of the total pool won before rb.
@@BenaBadBeatPoker don’t talk so negatively about yourself mate, even as a joke. You are at the top of the food chain in that pool, def a reason to be proud. Keep it up
actually i faced a much worst beat before but its just 1 hand, KK vs QQ, i flop K54 rainbow board, top set, but turn & river Q give the villian baackdoor quads. i still have the hand history that i could send to you if you want
That chip shuffle in the first hand seems super sus and immediately made me want to call (i thought it was a fold before that). The most action completing card in the deck they don't want to tip you off that it hit them and make you fold. The timing was super bluffy too imo. It just felt so much like "i hit the best bluff card and I want you to know its a bad card" (as if we don't know that). Nice hand.
@@BenaBadBeatPoker ohh I thought it meant like sending an emote. Can you tell if it's toggled on permanently or just sent that time? On ACR I've gotten some good reads off people sending emotes before and it might sound crazy to some but it literally is like a live read. One of those intuition based things. I rely on feel more than most of the GTO players today do tho
I won a hand where i had AJo one spade and villain had 99, flop J92ss and money got in, we ran it twice i won with runner flush BOTH boards. that was the most insane thing i've ever seen..
your guy easty had a hand on one of his streams AKss vs T3ss on K74ss that sticks in my head, but the fact that this one is for $2.2K instead of $22 makes a difference, haha.
Wrost bb I have was I had flop top set, we all in flop, villain had under pair without any draw, then runner quads. shoulda took the cash out when I could.😢
I had A8 on a flop if 789. The other mush was punting around massively with air most of the time so when he bet the flop i shoved as it was only a 10 BB spin up table. He had 56 yor the straight...and then i went runner runner 88 for four of a kind...😂😂😂
That was a pretty bad beat, but I've seen Nick take what I'd consider to be a worse beat than that with AKss v 10 3 on a K high board with two spades and it comes runner runner 10 3. Then there was another hand with you in the booth where Nick gets it in with Aces against Tucky who had some junk hand and he made runner runner straight. Those were both in the 10NL challenge though, so not losing huge amounts of money.
do you not have any concerns about bots (particularly at ACR) killing your winrate? fyi i'm a HS MTT pro, seen some quite damning articles and examples lately. i'd consider MTT (especially PKO) a lot safer with the number of factors that come into good strategy (also ICM influences). hmu if you want to see the articles.
it’s of course a bit of a worry given the climate yeah. overall I feel quite confident in the hs community discord where new names and unknown winners are under severe scrutiny though!
Only worse bad beat I've seen was a friend of mine sat at the table when the lodge bad beat 'went off' for $120k. Plo hand. Rules stipulated straight flush over straight flush, both hands have to be flopped. Flop JT9ddd, one player has KQdd one has 87dd. Ace of diamonds on the river to counterfeit the jackpot. Everyone celebrating because no one knows it's even happened til the manager comes to 'pay them out' then when he gets there gets a call from the big boss telling them to not pay it out. Long comment, apologies and hope it was worth it. Was super recent too.
Last weekend I got 1 outered for bbj. I had kk vs qq on aaa flop 4 b pot. River A. At least I had kk and not qq 😂 Both of us playing like stains hoping for the bbj
the worst bad beat I've received (the stake was way lower and it was in a tournament hand),was that I got kk and my opponent got kq ai pre flop came sth like 238 without any bd for him, but the consecutive qs on tge turn and river got me sucked out brutally and I still remember the equity for kk was 99.6% on the flop, I mean I know it happens but it just torturing to see this shit😢😢😢😢😢
Had this happen to me a 3 months ago but it was QQ vs 55 Q77 Flop 5 turn got it all in 5 river Only a $450ish pot but Don’t think I’ll ever psychologically recover.
sick sick bad beat. believe me or not i got the same twice in a row on the same table within 3 hands. except than we went all in turn and he had 2 outs.
they are so ruthless when they decide you arent going to win... i bluffed to get nearly a doubled up stack from pure 3 bets then big bluffs... then i finally get my first good hand and its queens.. i raise get 3 bet, ans then another player shoves over top 40 bb... i fold my queens and guy who 3 bet calls with ace king and loses to aces who shoved... so i run card dead... mae near double up stack from pure bluuffs... make a good fold with queens... and how do i get rewarded? 2 hands later i run kings into aces.. the site is not random at all.. when you arent meant to cash their is literally nothing you can do.. i swear ive run kings into aces about 100 times and ive only gotten aces into kings like once
BTW this was in a 1000 dollar tourney i satellited into, bigges buy in i ever played and i could tell from the start they were never going to give me a chance..... meanwhile you have rigged boosted accounts like egption and bert stevens running like god non stop... scam site
Feel you on that second hand. I play HUPLO almost exclusively and there’s a nitreg in my pool that only 3bets AA and never raises unless he has the nuts on the river. It’s so hard to lay down the second nuts in those spots every time, but I’d rather get bluffed than pay off a stain.
Nothing like I got on 9 max tables within 500 hands lost with KK vs AA allin pf four times!! This should happen only about 0.02% in 500 hands! That is bad luck.
98% vs 2% is like a flip for me
same
LOL
This was the most stoic way of someone saying " I am on 90BI downswing". Literally 0 emotion :D Mad respect for this robotness.

hello mate! really glad you're enjoying the videos.
OK so this can be very tailored to what works for you, but these are some of the things that i have done over the years. they're also not things that i do every session but i will pick and choose depending on how i'm feeling both in life and in relation to poker. These can be used as both warm up and cool down fwiw:
1. brief 5-10 min meditation
2. review marked hands
3. short gto trainer to warm up the brain
4. look at notes on different regs/recs that are playing so i'm in the mindset of playing each opponent rather than an overarching strategy
5. setting session intentions. this will often be when i'm in a downswing as my mind is often really full. i'll aim to make things VERY basic such as; 'every time i'm in a 3bp OOP i'll say out loud what the theory of the spot is and then verbalise whether we should or shouldn't be adjusting, and why. another really good one is 'every time i notice a bubbling emotion/tilt, i will take my hand off my mouse and take a deep breath'. These are super simple things but have really helped me remain present.

I had a guy on gg the other day on 100nl call a 1.5x overbet jam 200bb deep on the turn with a 6-3 gutshot, no pair. He had around 6% and hit it. Makes you wonder
@@BaadMotorFinger the good life :S
Ooh whatta hand that AA vs KQ. Absolute PSYCHOCOOLER. 😢 I love your transparency Babi, you are people's Champ
🤣🤣❤️❤️
Hi Bena, I would call with K8 vs the river action. Thank you for your question.
thanks mate!
i had same spot but i had kks and villain hit q on turn and river, i was stunned for days lol this happened to me over a decade ago it still hurts
hahaha i will for sure remember this beat for a while too
Yeah i had kinda similar equities a couple of times throughout the journey and lost. It wasnt for such amount of money though any of it cause it mostly happen in tournaments.
🙏🙏🙏 still hurts bro!
@@BenaBadBeatPoker lol i see the grift now, ultimate advertisement lolol... now nit it up for couple months and print sir.. may the variance be with u
Hi Ben, thank you for the content! Just a question, why you say “why would I run it twice when 98%”? Is non irrelevant the % ?
haha yeah it’s not relevant. I just said it as a joke!
gg's man feel you soso much, lost AJo v AJo AI pre deep in the 22$ WCOOP phase with 65k UT... BUUUUT i love you BBB!!!! loving the IG interactions and content btw tyty and keep on keeping on friend!
thank you maaaate
My worst bad beat was a 500 bb pot with k10 hh vs JQss on 10s 10x 3x Ks. All in on turn in 3bet pot. River 9s. Villain bluff jammed my turn check raise and binked the 2 outer
sooo gross
I remember doing a Micro MTT/SnG or something getting it in OTF and I had UP vs Set or something I dunno my exact combo/board, it was something like 55s vs TTs on say a Txx board, it was like 5 years ago, anyhow I had 0.2% OTF and I looked away at another table play another hand expecting this to bust, did a few more other tables then looked back at this table ready to close it and I saw I had doubled up and I was astounded, checked replayer to see I had hit runner-runner quads. Probably worst I have seen.
hahahaha so so silly
Love your content and thought process as always…
Hand in an app: about $550 effective ($1.50/$3.00 blinds). Whale opens 3x folds to me in BB I have JJ and make it 15 BBs. Flop is J73, I cbet 1/2 pot, whale jams and I snap. He has 97o. I have run it twice always checked, he clicks go once. Turn 7, river 7.
thank you rgore! that is SICKENING ulul
This k8s its really one hand to find this fold and make printscreen for friends. But we need to play a-game ,this line is never bluff and i think like you said not too much players try to fold yours 8x with 8x :D
totally agree with you! we will find the fold next time
I experienced a beat probably equally as sick in terms of rarity in a live cash game recently. Long story short, I got the nut flush draw all-in after betting 90% pot for a shove on the turn (3bet pot, villain is a fish who called the straddle then called the 3bet, initial raiser folded pre). He has a worse flush draw with no pair. We run it twice and he pairs up on both. Sick game.
oh that’s so so miserable lol
Worst bad beat i saw on GG so far is that streamer guy missing the BBJ because of a one outer on the river on 200nl (allin on turn) QQ vs KK on AAxA. A on the river. RIP 14000 dollars.
that's truly truly brtutal. but also hilarious haha
There was a hand like this on high stakes poker when back in the day. Johnny chan had aa in a 4 bet pot I believe. And kq flopped air then check raised all in. They ran it 3 times. Aa won all 3
jeeeeesus lol
Great video Bena!
I’ll tell you my worst bad beat.
Hero with AA, flop A89. All in on flop. Villain had 89. Can you guess the next 2 cards?
I was a 500/1 chance to lose that hand.
good god 🤣
Hey Ben, just wanted to let you know that the only reason you don’t have at least 50k subs is because the updates aren’t frequent !
Much love !
they have been once a week for 9 months lmao. seems pretty frequent to me!
I would've called the river in the K8 hand, probably would've snap called. What a sick setup though!
totally wouldn't fault you for that bro!
Was playing PLO and two players got it in on the flop of KKx (only for 40bb each or so) and one had AA other had KK, running aces for quads was the sickest ive ever seen
lmfao that’s so sick
At recess in high school some guys got AA vs AT all in on ATx flop. Obv AT won :D. That was within like my first 1000 hands and to this day I don't think I've seen another 0.1%er.
I guess it was just a joke but I'd like to point out that the equities really don't matter when considering running it twice.
hahahaha school games rigged
🤣🤣sick!
Losing 10 BIs makes me wanna quit poker and find a new hobby. Mad respect for the commitment to the grind!
hahaha well poker is a bit more than a hobby so if i quit after 10bi I’d be in trouble!! (although financially better off in this current situation 🤣)
My worst bad beat was flopping a straight on the btn with A5s in a 4bet pot. He shoved flop with 10s and hit running 2s for a full house.
that's very very sad for us haha
I’ve seen lex veldhuis flop top set and lose to running quads but this is still up there.
lmao sooo sick!
Through a process of elimination (eliminating all hands that would have too high an equity, while knowing should be 2%, combined with likely 4 bet hand), was happy to guess KQo exactly being the most likely hand before it was flipped. I've sadly personally also lost a 10k pot with very similar 97 or 98% in PLO5.
hahaha unreal reads, wpwp. that sounds sooo rough mate lool
@@BenaBadBeatPoker Ty, yes Ive played a good amount online & that was by far largest pot for that extreme a run out.

13:54 Theoretically, you would make more if they fold at this specific moment, right? Either way, amazing content. I love your videos!
haha yeah i guess do - thanks mate!
If they have anything literally anything with outs, but not if they have 2% equity 😂
My worst recently I was at a final table and I shoved with J8s, get called by J3 , flop is like 8XX and then turn is a 3 and river is a 3
that’s pure misery
Sickening, keep it up champ
thank you mate. littlesquirrel???
Then it comes 8 turn, 8 river and I have never felt so sick
hahaha but you were all in preflop right so it wasn't quite as bad!?
In a 109 bounty builder on stars about 5 years ago with about 120 players left, I had KK against AA my SB against BB all went in pre, flop come A22, then running K K for quads, I went on to win the tourney! So crazy it was a 235bb pot too put me as chip leader with 119 left I didn't lose chip lead until 3 left but won it anyway will never forget everything about that tourney 12k win
lmfao jesus christ that's insaaaane
Still have that bad beat ingrained in my head lol.
wow that’s so miserable. you will not forget that one ever 🤣
@@BenaBadBeatPoker haha ya, when I saw this beat, the PTSD kicked in 😂😂
Love your content and teachings, learning so much from you, gave you a Sub 😎 👍
I declined cash out and run it twice if he asked because I'm like a 90% favourite or whatever.....some poker friends later told me they may have used cadh out on this occasion given the pot size.
looooooool noooo
Ive had a few like this. in the same week I had two people go runner runner A A all in on the flop. First time I had 88 vs AJ on a J 8 4 flop and the second I had 7 9 against AK on a 7 7 6 flop. But the worst I've seen was in my favor. I had A 4 on Q 4 10 beat Q Q with running 4's
that is quite the brutal set of hands lmao
You are better than me man, I would be on live chat and Reddit telling everyone GG is rigged😂😂
lmaoooo well I did post it all over UA-cam 🤣
With 8 full I would have made the fold..I would have put him on quads or 9s... The biggest improvement in my game has been able to make discipline folds...u find that live players find it easier to make these folds as oppose to online players who always find it hard to fold..its a massive part of being a good poker player learning to fold that I'm starting to do very well.
OK bro cool story
Be easy to play you then, just shove any river and you put me on the nuts and fold second nuts lmao, good talk fella
making big folds definitely essential! and this is probably a spot for it
That’s a tough beat man. I did get one worse than this, flopped quad jacks on a rainbow flop in a 5bet pot and lost to back door royal flush.
jeeeeesus christ that's rough hahaha
The worst beat I had was in a small buy in tournament. I had QQ and flop came: Q77. I bet the flop and my opponent shoved all in on the flop holding:: 55. Turn and river was: 55. I think you did the right thing not cashing out on both streets 👍
wow that’s absolutely disgusting
My worst bad beat pocket Aces..flop a 7 k... villan goes all in with pocket k... turn and river kk. That was on the bubble of a 109 tournament 25 k 1st prize..that would have made me chip leader 😢😢
that's supremely brutal
Your best video ❤
whaaaat really?!
Yeah that’s pretty bad. Worst I’ve had was AA vs A2 on A72, All-in OTF. Got beaten by runner runner Quad deuces. Though that was 2NL at the time lol.
that's truly horrific wow
Same happened to me. Mby even worse if we consider, that he had 2 more queens and 3 more kings to come.
I flopped the nut straight. Guy had pair of 6s. Turn was a T, River another T and therefore he boated up. Btw, it was a live poker hand, for those, who think "online is rigged", lol.
live is rigged!
@@BenaBadBeatPoker Ofc it is! :)
Yeah bad beat sure. But seriously that kind of stuff and way worse happens every online cash session I play. Quite surprised definitely a little anticlimactic
hahaha every session you play? okkkk
I feel like you and I are literally going through the same year. Except you at high stakes and I at mid stakes. Maybe we need to leave GG haha. All I can say is I hope it gets better for you bro
lots more people going through these mega swings these days mate - due to high rake! gotta include our rakeback though ❤️ you got this
Pretty rough last hand, but I'm willing to bet that if you look at your hand histories and filter on your equity on flop when you're all-in, you will have experienced worse bad beats (i.e. villain had 6 cards available to runner runner...
I did give a beat worse than this a long while ago though where I got it in on the turn with 2 outs, ran it twice and hit both
I saw you on carrot corner and subscribed. I hope you run better in the future.
appreciate the sub mate! hope you enjoy the content here
Hey Ben, how do play on Natural 8 from Australia?
made my account in Thailand 🙏 if you want a hook up at me on discord

Nice hand.
haha yeah can agree with all of this! although the chip shuffle is something that is either turned on or off so some rec's have it on by default haha
I rely on feel more than most of the GTO players today do tho
if it is switched on you will see the chips shuffle in your stack. it's in the settings somewhere in case you need to double check!
Wouldn't it make sense to bet bigger at 08:00 or even shove?
yeah absolutely would be the case in theory i'd guess. but i also don't wanna give an awful price on my bluffs when ip can still have 99, 98 and quads
Knowing the run outs on GG I'd take that first cashout option. Nearly full money!
hahaha next time i know

wooow thats legit insane
your guy easty had a hand on one of his streams AKss vs T3ss on K74ss that sticks in my head, but the fact that this one is for $2.2K instead of $22 makes a difference, haha.
this beat is honestly one of my favourite clips or all time ahahaha
Wrost bb I have was I had flop top set, we all in flop, villain had under pair without any draw, then runner quads. shoulda took the cash out when I could.😢
loool yeah i've had this one happen a very very long time ago too
@@BenaBadBeatPoker wait, that only happened to you once in your entire career? What a luckbox
I had A8 on a flop if 789.
The other mush was punting around massively with air most of the time so when he bet the flop i shoved as it was only a 10 BB spin up table.
He had 56 yor the straight...and then i went runner runner 88 for four of a kind...😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
That was a pretty bad beat, but I've seen Nick take what I'd consider to be a worse beat than that with AKss v 10 3 on a K high board with two spades and it comes runner runner 10 3. Then there was another hand with you in the booth where Nick gets it in with Aces against Tucky who had some junk hand and he made runner runner straight. Those were both in the 10NL challenge though, so not losing huge amounts of money.
mate that bad beat nick received lives rent free in my head :D it's when frank says 'he has like 15%' that kills me every time hahaha
It wasn’t an all-in until the river but I once had 66 on J5266 and my opponent had JJ, so I must have been what? About a 0.1% underdog on the flop?
loool yeah that’s so sick
do you not have any concerns about bots (particularly at ACR) killing your winrate? fyi i'm a HS MTT pro, seen some quite damning articles and examples lately. i'd consider MTT (especially PKO) a lot safer with the number of factors that come into good strategy (also ICM influences). hmu if you want to see the articles.
it’s of course a bit of a worry given the climate yeah. overall I feel quite confident in the hs community discord where new names and unknown winners are under severe scrutiny though!
Was the bad beat punishment for playing full ring?
apparently so :D
Was super recent too.

yikes 🤣
ive lost with 22 vs KJ on K72 two tone which is 98% on flop

the worst bad beat I've received (the stake was way lower and it was in a tournament hand),was that I got kk and my opponent got kq ai pre flop came sth like 238 without any bd for him, but the consecutive qs on tge turn and river got me sucked out brutally and I still remember the equity for kk was 99.6% on the flop, I mean I know it happens but it just torturing to see this shit😢😢😢😢😢
that’s beyond gross lmao. good story tho!
Sickest beat I ever saw was AA vs JJ all in pre, A on the flop. Running Jacks for quads. The guy with AA looked so defeated and immediately left.

should!
Im not one for starting an arguement but alot of my fellow poker grinders allll hit a downswing after hitting the BBJ.. GG is scam dude..
hahaha this is the tinfoil i need in my life. in fairness though, it was going terribly before i hit BBJ lol
they are so ruthless when they decide you arent going to win... i bluffed to get nearly a doubled up stack from pure 3 bets then big bluffs... then i finally get my first good hand and its queens.. i raise get 3 bet, ans then another player shoves over top 40 bb... i fold my queens and guy who 3 bet calls with ace king and loses to aces who shoved... so i run card dead... mae near double up stack from pure bluuffs... make a good fold with queens... and how do i get rewarded? 2 hands later i run kings into aces..
the site is not random at all.. when you arent meant to cash their is literally nothing you can do..
i swear ive run kings into aces about 100 times and ive only gotten aces into kings like once
BTW this was in a 1000 dollar tourney i satellited into, bigges buy in i ever played and i could tell from the start they were never going to give me a chance..... meanwhile you have rigged boosted accounts like egption and bert stevens running like god non stop... scam site

A turn, A river.
wow super insane
Feel you on that second hand. I play HUPLO almost exclusively and there’s a nitreg in my pool that only 3bets AA and never raises unless he has the nuts on the river. It’s so hard to lay down the second nuts in those spots every time, but I’d rather get bluffed than pay off a stain.
