Thanks a lot, Esteves!
Wonderful, thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you, Susan!
I absolutely love this painting. It is one of my favorites of yours. I love to watch you courageously add darks to the face and then mold the shadows and lights by lifting and blending. It is so inspiring. I keep trying to use your 5-line brush to loosen up and then get fearful that my lines are not as accurate so I tighten up again. For example, I painted a street scene with it after you did your New York scene. Then I started to use masking tape to get straighter lines. How do you get your lines straight and perpendicular enough for perception of accurate perspective?
Thank you very much for your feedback! The main secret is that the line you want to draw must first simply be seen on the sheet. Imagine. It's like it's already there. Then the hand will simply repeat it. The hand itself will know what to do )) Thank you!
That looks like a great small hairdryer…especially for travel.
Thank you, Lena!
hi from Hershey PA. would you explain why you wet the back of the paper and the front is dry
Then my paints don't dry quickly and I have a lot of time to combine all the spots and change them. It's just a very comfortable process.
Hi Michael! Just watched the painting…just brilliant! I wasn’t able to watch as I’m in New Zealand and it was 3am live…so couldn’t wake up…
If you would like to sell this painting today I would love to purchase…please let me know…thanks! Kyron
Thank you so much 😀 Yes, it's for sale, 900 USD.
Thx Michael! Can I Venmo you or AppleCash or PayPal friends? Let me know
I’m traveling until early May so no rush to get it sent to me…thank you so very much!
