Interesting that you would bring up Knux's Glide Bounce early on in the run: Back in 20I7, I did a massive dissection of the ability across many titles, ports, and ROM hacks while we were waiting for Mania to come out; at present, Sonic Advance, Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog, and the June 028 of 20II build of Megamix seem to be where Knux performs best, and although the 20I3 ports on RSDK (Version 04) see a handicap (especially in the first entry; Sonic 02 actually was better, but not optimal, about a 0I0% difference), this gives me hope that Origins moved everything over to Version 05 or potentially a new Version 06 of the engine, Mania (Plus) got it virtually accurate to how it worked in Sonic & Knuckles and wishfully it'll be addressed better in Origins so everything is up to code. For anybody who might be looking into how the Glide Bounce functions in specific titles, the program is left below for reference; I was genuinely surprised as to how Chaotix, G Sonic (Blast), and Advance II and III handled it, these four really force the player to think on how they route the entire run and it'll be nice to see how those entries and the others make use of it in Single Segment. The glithes in this game are INSANE! As soon as I discovered them, I knew speedruns would be fun to watch. The constant pausing is annoying, although I guess it helps getting frame-perfect actions right. But the Rosa plushie makes up for it!
I already knew Plushies were the ultimate bringer of comfort and cuteness, but today I learned they can also speedrun Sonic 2 and get a world record. (All jokes aside. Congrats on the WR.)

There were a lot of trash games getting churned out back then. The bar was really low. It's no wonder this was such a hit. Weak storyline though. But understandable for back then.
i know why you can never do the drop down in OO2, because it is a fucking hard ass trick. I remember when I first tried that strat and considered it really difficult to do in an IL, never contemplating attempting it in an SS. Nice run!

I absolutally hate how much they changed the egg hammer aquatic ruin boss in origins. It's so different I don't even understand what to do. It's like i'm more stupid from knowing how the original works.
i use a rgb 100% keyboard as i dont have any genesis or computer, i have sonic 2 mobile and im learning most of the glitches n such, i tried to figure out a way i could have 3 jump buttons like on the genesis controller but i cant, and i have to stick to two, but for some odd reason those 2 buttons act as 3 if i spam them (specially with spindash god i fly high) but my hands are in an "uncomfortable" position (as i use the numberpad arrows for movement n such and use 1 and 3 for jumping and spamming if you know any keybinds i could use im open to em
Level wrap. He went so far to the left that his horizonal position ended up wrapping around to the farthest right side of the level. It's kinda like in games like Mario Bros (Arcade) where if you go off the left side of the screen, you come out on the right but on a far bigger scale. No idea about how he got off the level though, there's a wall there usually so I guess he clipped through somehow
I can flex that i have the same time on sky chase as the world record

I'm not sure if it was my first, but it was 1 of them. Never beat it. I only got to the last fight once, and that was actually only a few years ago.
It has a mobile version, its really well made and free for the most part except ads (ofc you can pay to turn ads off)
