This was a great tutorial that I referenced several times as I got my lights mounted and ran. I have the 8 pod kit so it took some time, also have a stick so I had to create a new firewall pass through.
There are so many things about this install I do not like. You used Tesa Tape for the loom where you should have used either braided loom or split loom. You zip tied to the chassis where the body can scrape on rocks and break the zip ties. You used EXCESSIVELY long screws to mount them to the fender liners. But the kit does seem absolutely solid.
You guys should put the link to the app of the light on your website or on the video or in the description instead of jumping through hoops and finding it in the comments section.
This looks way too easy lol. Can I please know or have a link for those type of screws? My light kit comes with screws and nuts but I just can't get behind the fenders.
If you are having trouble connecting to the lights with the Happy Lighting App, try the Pro RGB App. Both can be found on the product page linked below. stingerelectronics.com/collections/powersports-rock-lights-underbody-kits/products/ip65-powersports-rgb-led-4-way-app-controlled-underbody-wheel-well-light-kit
If my rock lights are connected to the back of my stinger radio and I can control them both through the app and on the radio does the car have to be running in order for the rock lights to be accessed and changed?
So there is no way to feed power to the rock lights so the radio doesn’t need to be on? Thereby allowing the rock lights to be on as accent lights if sitting outside for illumination?
Barley gives off light, qr codes scans to some weird language not allowing you to download an app, typed in stinger app in app store got nothing, typed in stinger app in Google got three ....and none worked ...... ...what is going on stinger?
There are two different apps, depending on which generation the kit you have is. Both are available and linked at the page below. stingerelectronics.com/collections/powersports-rock-lights-underbody-kits/products/powersports-ip65-rgb-led-8-way-app-controlled-underbody-wheel-well-light-kit

If the rock lights are controlled through the radio doesn’t the vehicle have to be on in order for it to even work?
Looks amazing! Going to have to try these, love the effects you can do
I’ll have to try a set out on the JT
Just installed a set into my Polaris ranger, thanks #stingeroffroad they are well made and very bright!
Looking forward to getting a set of these to test and show off! #stingeroffroad

Are the lights only controlled through the app?
Why I never see this on cars

They are a basic self drilling screw. You can find them at local hardware stores in a variety of different lengths and diameters.

I just ordered the 8 pod multi-color set. but the color i mostly wanted was white. Does it have white?
They are not pure white when set, but they are very close.
Can these lights be controlled with the High 10 stereo?
Unfortunately, the HEIGH10 does not have any output triggers that can be used to control external accessories.
