I absolutely agree with you about the $5 dollar bill strategy. Also I like that you spread the resin around the whole inside of the shell it does look nice that way. Thanks again for the inspirational video. I am making some shells this week with my new "mermaid trash".
I can’t wait to try these. I often use makeup brushes from Dollar Tree for my crafts. They’re soft and cheap enough to replace as needed. Oyster season is almost here, so I’ll have plenty of shells to work with 🙂
These are gorgeous! If you don't use all your Modge Podge bubble mixture can you seal it to use later? I definitely want to try those bubbles but don't want to waste supplies. Glad I have about 150 oyster shells since you keep giving me ideas! You have become my favorite craft channel! I have been decorating oysters to make napkin rings for Christmas gifts. That is another idea of what you can do with them.
So pretty! I live in Florida and these would make nice coastal gifts! I have a large 4 arm starfish in my bathroom. I had to have it! Thank you sharing! ❤
I don’t know if anyone else suggested this, but you could give the trinket jars (from your other video) the same treatment. The trinket jar that you did the acrylic paint pour and resin on the lids. Adding the “mermaid trash” would be so pretty! These shells are beautiful!🤩
They are ALL GORGEOUS! I think my favs are the 6 leg starfish and the aqua colored one with the starfish!. Love, Love your videos! Crafty Hugs from Texas.
Great idea, wish I lived near the beach, but I’m going to the beach next weekend so I have some shells to pick up. Look forward to trying something like this.
I saw a whole bucket of oyster shells at the restore the other day and never thought to get them now I wish I had. I wonder if they’re still there lol five bucks apiece I’d be rich no wonder these people I wouldn’t buy that for five dollars not even from my son‼️
Buying shells and sand..possibly selling online I would think one might have to go up on price...10 maybe..would be possible... I've seen decorative shells go for much more...but trying to think of options..
8 ounces (by weight), which is enough to do LOADS of shells, depending on how much you use on each shell! I just made a new batch too! I don’t sell shells, but you can get them at a local seafood restaurant or market!

Those are amazing. I like the way you made the bubbles. I might use that technique on a picture frame
Go for it!
Beautiful work
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi, my first time watching you. Love your work. So happy you did not waste the GUPPY resin. I deplore waste. Good job, beautiful work !!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Starfish should be right side up. The feelers on the bottom are used to hold on to sea bottom
Love oyster shell ornaments! Yours turned out beautifully.💖💖💖
Thank you so much!
I agree with you by keeping the prices down. The Mennonites have a saying charge less make more. It has served them well
These are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I have mine in a salsa jar! I just keep adding to it when I need it. THANK YOU so much for your support.❤️❤️❤️
@@ACoastalMagnolia Cool, then I am definitely trying this. Which mod podge works the best? Glossy or matte or satin?
I think any of them. I used matte, but I bet glossy would work too.

go get them!
These pieces are beautiful!! Can you give us the measurements and ingredient list to make the bubble mixture at home? Thank you!
3 parts mod podge and 1 part dish soap!
Can you add paint into the mod podge?
The blue glass blobs are a scene stealer
Love the results and the sweet turtles. Did you use unstoppables or Dawn, you said dishwahing soap but had both products in the video
Oh, the unstoppable bottle is water! I reuse my bottles. Sorry for the confusion.
@@ACoastalMagnolia got it
So pretty😊
Thank you! 😊
Do you sell the oyster shells also
I don’t sell the plain shells.
One of my favorite videos btw...bought your sand..love it..

That is true, especially if you are offering free shipping. I am thinking of selling the decorated shells on my Etsy. not sure yet.
Now what do you do with them??
I see ornaments
I sell these at art and craft shows.
Love the 6 star, looks like a star of David
❤❤❤❤❤
What is Mermaid trash? 😊
a mix of sand, crushed glass, glitter and tiny shells!
I love these! Just wondering how much mermaid trash comes in an order on Etsy? And, do you sell oyster shells, also😊? 😍
8 ounces (by weight), which is enough to do LOADS of shells, depending on how much you use on each shell! I just made a new batch too! I don’t sell shells, but you can get them at a local seafood restaurant or market!
Thank you, I'll try that 😍
Placing the starfish upside down.
um, what?
You placed the starfish on its front legs up.
He’s studying gymnastics.
Mermaid trash?
Yes, it’s a mix of sand, glitter and glass explained in the video.
