Awesome ~ 3 days 2 nights. That’s a gift.
You got that right! A gift indeed!
One day I'm going to sleep outside in the winter.......maybe. Thanks for taking me along, from the warmth in my home.
Do it!!!
That was a great trip. Man, you look like my son Scott! I use to do that kind of stuff while I was in the Marine Corps, so I know how much energy it takes to get to those beautiful views. Best time of my life! I am glad you filmed your trip. Thanks for sharing!😊
You would be surprised how often I get told I look like someone somebody knows that is not me. lol. Happens a lot. Thank you for your service good sir!
That was fun to watch.
I am glad to hear that. Thanks for letting me know.
Great two nighter! Those views were epic! First time that I’ve heard the term-setup sip! Made me laugh! Take care man!
We did get some great views on this one! The setup sip! A very important part of the process🤣 I am glad you enjoyed the humor! Thanks for watching man
You guys did this one right. And I got to see more footage of JP looking terrified, haha. That angle at 16:25 was terrifying.
Certainly had an adventurous feel to it. lol
That's wonderful. Food looks amazing. Great video.
Thank you. The food was great!
Those spruce traps are nothing to fool with. I've read accounts of folks getting sucked in and unable to get out without help. Glad you're OK.
Yep. The dreaded spruce trap. They can swallow people. This one wasn't that bad, but it did catch me off guard given the location.
That was pretty awesome. Just go's to show short trips can be epic too. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
Absolutely man! This was a ton of fun!
Another awesome video brother love it tomato soup awesome Bud rock on
My man Kenny G! Thank you brother
Excellent adventure. Amazing views. Great job.
Many thanks!
You are a mountain man! Right in your element! Beautiful views!
I do love my mountains. Especially in the winter. It'll be time to paddle soon enough. I hope you are doing well bud
Dude it’s so beautiful up there. Paradise!!
Awesome sunrise.
Really cool video brother 👊🏻
This was a blast brother. I can't wait for another opportunity to show you the heights!
I see It’s Good in the Woods, I click. Never disappointed. Great hike and video man, thanks as always!
Solid support! I appreciate it. Thank you very much!
That was badass!
Thanks man! A fun trip for sure
Looks like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing
It was a fun trip into the mountains!
Nice one Justin. You're making me reconsider my current canoe/dad bod state of affairs.
I miss winter in the Whites. Gotta get back out there 🏔️
Get at me sometime...... Lets go for a hike!
Ah yes, the Set-up sip - an important step.
Should've had a grilled cheese to go with that tomato soup. 🙂
A very important step lol. I can assure you, I was thinking about that sandwich. It was with me in spirit
Awesome as always! I love that mountain 🏔️😊
She's a beauty!
Looks like a great time!
It was fantastic
A stay at Liberty cabin has been on my to do list for a while! Glad you enjoyed it.
It is a nice little cabin. Great location
That was amazing , spectacular views. 50 now and just starting to get that outdoors bug. Baby steps for me
Better late than never!!!
Awesome views from up there , excellent video
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you
Will be watching more for sure
Thank you for your support!@@tuckerandi
Safe bet with hiding the bag, i would have been nervous as hell haha sweet adventure!!✊️🔥✌️💚
I figured it was a risk worth taking
Nice trip, but for the wind. You are welcome to my entire share of wind! I've endured wind in order to hunt specific species and/or habitats, but I'm not a fan of that kind of weather. My avatar photo was snapped by an accommodating local when I finally reached road end with first pack load after taking a Bighorn. I'd been hunting 4000 to 5000 feet higher than the site of the photo in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness. The winds were so severe up on the high plateau that they'd literally swept me off my feet three times on that hunt! (However, it is those very winds that enable Bighorn sheep to survive winters up on plateaus that typically run 10,0000 to nearly 12,000 feet elevation by keeping snow swept-off of constantly shifting portions of the high country, exposing forage in the process.)
The wind can be brutal! Certainly changes the dynamic of the situation. Congratulations on your Bighorn! that is awesome. I'd like to go out west for a hunting trip someday. It is on the bucket list. Thank you for sharing your story. That was a fun read
Hey Justin. Nice views cheers man 🍻
Hey, thanks man!🍺
Good thing about soup is that you can’t add too much water!
100%
Great outing. Take care.
Thank you
Nice trip buddy! Cheers!
Thank you Kirk!🍺
Nice go of it. Great timing, snow and warm. I can’t believe how good the winter seemed to start and then just turned sour. Not even worth riding . Maybe I’ll sneak a backpack trip in Bigelow. Going back to New York soon. I’ll be at work by March probably. Good luck
We did luck out weather wise on this trip. But overall, it has been a pretty lack luster season. Maybe next year🤞🏻
Excellent video 😊
Thank you very much!
Great stuff Justin! I never knew that cabin existed.......I ll have to check it out sometime.
You should! But be warned, it gets very busy in the warmer months
Good to know. Thank you!@@ItsGoodintheWoods
👍🤠🍺
Send some snow this way!!
New Brunswick Canada 🇨🇦
no offense but, I prefer to keep it🤣🍺
Awesome video. Only part I didn't like was the stupid face I made on the summit lol. Great trip for sure.
Lol. It was quite obvious that you were out of your element and uncomfortable up there, but you pushed through! Well done. This was a fun time bud
Honestly most of my difficulty stemmed from being out of shape. Most of the faces and noise were @#$% this hurts faces lol. The wind was a bit unsettling lol, but the steep icy areas made me nervous because I am prone to falling lol. Hopefully I can keep on the exercise regiment. With a bit of strength training and more time in the mountains I think I will be like a regular mountain goat. Well maybe more like a trail goat, but you get the idea.

Very cool ! That’s one mountain I’ve yet to climb, looks fantastic ! Views for miles. I’m hoping to get up to the whites this Saturday for just a one nights hike and camp. Cheers
Enjoy
I always love your channel and your adventures. I hope you have some kind of gps decide you could use if you got injured.
I carry a Garmin mini In reach 2.....just in case
My daughter works at the AMC Highland Center at Crawford Notch, not too far from where this is. Hope one day to be able to do what you are doing.
Nice! I bet that is a fun job.
Very cool, I had to look up the cabin - I thought you guys would be at a much higher elevation than you were...The more I see NH stuff there really is a fair comparison (elevation wise) between NC & NH (we just seldom get the high volumes of cold and snow) down here.
We do have some gems out here that are very high reward for the effort. I love NH
Shandar ✨ 🇮🇳🙏✨
Thank you
dude did you get a harvest right?
We did! Super pumped about it. She's running right now!
@ItsGoodintheWoods awesome dude it's a game changer. Me and 2 my buddys went in on one about 2 years ago.
