    • @RomaneTheTrucker
      @RomaneTheTrucker  3 місяці тому

      I thought of taking a split break, but there was no place to park and take that 8/2 split. Maybe one day I will get to. Outage to park up on the side of the road somewhere and don’t feel too scared of the cops lol. The Closes parking was a hour away. The shipper was ready to load me so I went there thinking I could get the load and have at least 2-3 hours to drive to a truck stop in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania was 70 miles away from where I picked up. A truck stop was right there as I enter Pennsylvania on i80. I am learning though I think the 8/2 split would be perfect but I was scared to park on the side of the road 😂😂

      @@RomaneTheTruckerNot sure if you know by now, but assuming from the comment you don't. Once you stop @ warehouse to check-in and get a door, wait for more than 2 hours you qualify for 8-2 split. Just have to switch it to sleeper birth. It’s always a great thing to get a load on your back before taking your break. Even if you have 10 minutes on your clock. You can sleep so much better knowing the work is done and wake up just having to drive. It’s even better if they take over 10 hours to load you, so you won’t need to park. I love when I can get the new load in the same shift as getting unloaded

    I want to join prime inc in July, I want to ask a question, I had that prime pays $900 to new truck drivers for 1 years is that true.

      Not $900 for a whole year. You can get paid by leasing or get paid by being a company driver. Company driver get paid by the mile they drive, and lease guys get a percentage on the load they carry. In training you get $900 gross check each week and that’s for 3 months training, I heard two month trading now. 😃
