Incriminating Caffeine, Wolves Stole My Pills, and Cell Outs/Frink's Theme are my personal favs from this list. Also, all of Bart's music, with the heavy guitar use gives me weird...Sonic Adventure 2 Battle vibes? Like, it just reminds me A LOT of that soundtrack, but it might just be because I played those two games quite a bit growing up. The only thing I don't agree with is Legitimate Business as number 1. It's very different, and it IS a cool theme...but it's also just 10 seconds of music looping over and over again. It's literally just four repeating whole notes, with a very quick synth line that plays over the third whole note. Outside of the techno echo effect, that's all there is to it lol. I never really got into it admittedly, I always found it kind of unremarkable as far as the music tracks went.
That number 1 pick really heavily reminded me of a largely unheard of Nintendo 64 game called Glover. Seriously if you loved this than listen to the music tracks that play in the Atlantis world, I think you'll love that too.
For me, the best sounds tracks are all the punk rock songs. They remind me of bands like Foo Fighters, Green Day, Sun 41 etc. They really give off that 00s vibe
That part in the Wolves Stole my pills song where you said it sounds like a “monkey beat boxing”, that’s actually Cuica instrument, also known as the MONKEY drum, haha.
I always thought the Legitimate Business soundtrack played for the car wash...(Did anyone else think that or was I just weird?) But the knowledge of the song name really does tell it all! XD
Kinda sad Fat and The Furious isn’t here but let’s be honest, what Hit and Run song isn’t good, like I could rank all songs worst to best and I still wouldn’t call any of the songs bad, good list man :) Legit my reason for liking the a fat and the furious so much was because of the countless times I watched the demo gameplay on the title screen
My personal favourites would be frinks theme and the music from the last missions of levels 1 and 7. Especially for how quick the final mission is and how iconic it feels to me. It comes across a little intense but it suits particularly the final mission. Not so much the Smithers race though
I'm assuming (and hoping) you totally forgot about this, but I must file a complaint that there is no notice of Simpsons Hotline on this list! Easily number 1 for me. :P Hit and Run forever
Legitimate Business only happens around that building because that's where Fat Tony and his mafia crew have their base of operations. There's a doorway with a switch down some stairs where you can interact and get some funny dialogue from his lackeys. Fat Tony was a character that the Simpsons creators made as a spoof of The Sopranos main character, Tony Soprano. Much in the same way that McBain is a spoof of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Legitimate Business sounds very similar to the theme song of that show, Woke Up This Morning. Here's a link so you can compare. ua-cam.com/video/RLxSUKA--Dg/v-deo.html
Bro you should do top 10 things that make you rage for example 1 time limit for the one mission faster AI regardless of car specs ie Marge and Lisa’s cars being the same and marges car being able to leave you in the dust or AI deliberately driving into you or having tougher cars such as homers car
Before finishing: The phone booth better be in this. After finishing: Ok. Legitimate Business is on the list and number one. That makes up for a lack of phone booth. And that outro theme is golden.
For #12, the "Ketchup Logic" theme was heavily inspired by Tom Jones's "it's Not Unusual".In the show, Marge is said to love Tom Jones and this was more or less a nod to the series canon.
@@neosquid9609it's just that Milking the Pigs is a lot more fast paced compared to Hell's Bells. So yeah it's not easy to catch up at first. And another funny fact is that the Bell used in the Soundtrack is not the same one used in Hell's Bells. But it's actually the Bell from "For whom the bell tolls" from Metallica. So it's a 2 in 1 combo
So I noticed it didn't take very long for you guys to mention tracks that I knew would be missed on this list 😅 specifically: 1. Bart Goes Downtown (Level 2 Main theme) 2.Harbor Hustle (Level 3 Main theme) 3. Phonebooth Music While they are very memorable and unique, it just came down to personal preference. Of course it doesn't mean they aren't good 😁 anyways, thanks for watching and all your comments! -Jonny 😁❤
Hey, this is something you might appreciate. That Legitimate Business thing is probably there because it sounds similar to the Sopranos theme (Woke Up This Morning), which was later used as Fat Tony's soundtrack when he was driving around Springfield. So, that's probably why it's there. That's such a great song, and that was a very cool scene with Fat Tony, driving around smoking a cigarette while the song played.
The tunes from the 'Detention Deficit Disorder' mission and the 'Bart n' Frink' mission are my top picks due to the vibes they give as an action movie scene where combats or chases may take place! 👍
My all time favorite track is Legitimate Business. Such a chill tune. I listen to it some mornings while getting dressed and some nights before going to bed.
My favourite tracks are never trust a snake/set to kill mission music, the Duff brewery theme music from level's 3 and 6, phonebooth music, legitimate business from level's 2 and 5, Bart goes downtown, Bart's casual driving music, hit & run music, Bart n frink mission music and operation hellfish mission music
Halls Balls in the same spirit of Hells Bells by AC/DC. The monkey beatboxing in Wolves Stole My Pills is a real instrument called a Cuica. Homers Day always reminds me of my first crush Jamie who first showed this game to me, we just played on level 1 and blew up homers pink car and drove the wreck around. Number 1 for me would definitely be Bart’s main driving theme, another good ones IMO are Detention Deficit Disorder and other rock-ish songs (operation Hellfish, Never Trust A Snake). I guess I feel nostalgic towards those ones because at the time I was a kid who had just discovered pop punk in the form of Simple Plan and thought they were the coolest. Petty Theft Homer is a good one too, it’s sneaky and innocent with a little bit of childish cheekiness. And I love Harbour Hustle too, that funky smooth jazz with the interpolation of the Simpson’s theme is great, if that song came on every time I hopped in my car, driving would be so much less stressful, it’s just relaxing and cool, makes me wanna drive a convertible on the beach esplanade with sunglasses and one hand on the steering wheel. And I can’t believe you didn’t include the phone booth vehicle selection music! That was one of the best!
The monkey sound you mentioned in the 8th one, is actually a instrument called Cuíca. A instrument very used in songs like Samba, Jazz, or Bossa Nova... It's really cool.
Don’t forget that the “homer’s day” music is also played in level 4 when you’re driving around as marge. Which I kind of thought was weird in some aspects but I still liked it there.
Legitimate Business is the best song from the game. It kind of sounds like the music you'd hear in the old Adult Swim anime bumpers from 2005. Very nostalgic and I've even used the song in one of my videos on my channel
Alongside "Halls Balls", I really like the song for "Never Trust a Snake" because of the low note backing guitar (I don't know my terminology) setting that serious tone versus the other similar rock songs. It's similar to how I like piano pieces backed by low, rhythmic notes. 15. "Vox Nerduli" is meant to be a shoutout to the fight music of Star Trek TOS 12. Another shoutout piece to Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual"
I know this is likely going to be an unpopular opinion, but I'm honestly not a fan of the hit and run theme. Why because I'll be playing certain missions in this game, that stupid disco theme would interrupt some of my favorite songs. Missions like Vox Nerduli, Bart and Frink, Cell Outs, Going to the Lu, This Little Piggy, Quick Kash and Set to Kill; hit and run is normally triggered during those missions. And imo all these songs are better than the hit and run theme I probably wouldn't have minded the theme otherwise, but it has cut off some of my favorite songs too often
I don't like every track you put on the list, but all in all, two things: 1. You have big respect from me for Legitimate business and Halloween on the first 2 places 2. I have a huge reproach for not being Harbor Hustle (Lisa's theme track) there 🎶
1. Never Trust a Snake 2. Bart n Frink 3. Operation Hellfish 4. Bart Goes Downtown 5. Incriminating Caffeine 6. Homer's Day 7. Halls Balls (It's actually a parody or tribute of Hells Bells by AC/DC) 8. Monkey See Monkey D'oh 9. Detention Deficit Disorder 10. Legitimate Business 11. Vox Nerduli 12. Bonestorm Storm 13. The Fat And the Furious 14. This Little Piggy 15. Cletus Theme And yes, you can clearly see where is my bias considering the Top 4 lol
Fun fact about big blind brother there was a segment of the song that was cut it was supposed to play when the timer was on 10 seconds and hearing it feels like it adds intensity to it like you’re sneaking around and you get caught by a guard and you have to hid quick
So let me get this straight: 90% of the songs in this game are three minutes long and have a full-on orchestra yet the #1 song on this list is a 20 second hip-hop loop XD. They're all great songs, but personally I feel Apu's Hindi music should have been higher up the list. And then there's the heavy metal racing song with has this sick guitar solo which you forgot to mention. This is just my opinion and I still like the hip-hop beat, so don't take it too seriously!

I honestly love all music from the game. The soundtrack has a different piece for each mission that suits the mood so well.
Who was thinking "Halls Balls" from Milking the pigs is their #1 favorite?
This licensed video game had no business having music soundtrack that slapped
Halls balls, Professor Frink's theme, Halloween theme and Legitimate business
