I believe two unhappy adults who stay together for the sake of their kids cannot bring up happy children to go onto become well balanced and able to have trusting stable relationships .
I do think that a stable single parent can do a good job if she / he has no choice … after all women in many scenarios are the ones who bring up children on their own approximately 60% of the time.
There is a strong possibility that even if a person hasn’t had a happy childhood can not recover from difficulties if they put the work on as soon as they realise they are repeating patterns in relationships .

There are rare unicorns 🦄 that do look for love. One right here and I am so in love with my hubby. We met in our early 20’s and I am 38 now and the journey was rough and challenging but we are so much more in love now and ironed out so many wrinkles. And looking out there seeing how people build relationships today we are so proud for sticking by, being loyal, and nurturing what we have. It’s precious and so rare.
I think a lot of people missunderstand the message here. She doesn't mean that all women litteraly do it...rather that they all have the potential.
