I love the way that Teddy Atlas tells it how he feels. He just seems like a genuine good guy and gives honest answers to questions, never patronizing or short-changing fans.
He tries to say tyson wasnt that gd... fuckkk off lol.. he was jealous mike was with rooney.. and he didnt like mike cuz yrs ago mike hit on his neice.mike was great. Top 3-5 heavyweight all time
Just shows you how disrespectful and what kind of low life's this new generation is. Which also shows you what kind of parents these kids had. Pathetic.
Nick Gojc ask Freddie Roach and he'll give you simple answers and become victorious at the end. Teddy Atlas is a diva actress they forget that they were the FIREMAN. lol! They got burned down to cinders by Manny.
jaaeVal it's because he is a big thinker. sometimes big thinkers can't decide what information needs to be said and which Info doesn't need to be. but you're right still 😂
Edison Cui, well by the time Manny has his 3rd fight with Bradley, Freddie Roach had been with Manny for about 15 years, while Teddy had only been with Timothy for about 8 months. Tough to see how much better Roach is when he trained his fighter 20 times longer than Teddy has his.
f1ak011 he's a joke he's always looked to make a seen or try and say some smart shit. He tries to promote himself. The only reason anyone knows his name is because of Tyson
@@tldogmeat I think he's a good trainer, not the best, but also that he is a brilliant motivator. He can motivate fighters like Bradley and Povetkin with great effect and push them over the line when it counts the most.
I think teddy is a great coach. He's a great trainer and motivator. Even though Bradley lost he looked great in the ring. Frustration got the best of him in that fight and going up against a hall of fame like manny is a great challenge even if it's their third fight. Keep it up teddy
His autobiography is pretty good, and gives a context in which to understand some of the passion and integrity. I like both Freddie and Teddy. Their personalities are a bit different, different men, that's cool. May they best continue to be good for boxing.
I just stumbled upon this guy a few weeks ago and now my whole feed is all Teddy Atlas videos and I've watched hundreds of them. Its like he never existed and now he's everywhere I look.
he loves that camera, he cant stop looking straight down the lense of the camera... but i like teddy we need more charactors like him weather or not he's acting hes good for boxing....
A gym that I used to go to someone their said to me Teddy Atlas didn’t get that slash mark near his eye 👁 for being a nice guy. He said he had bad experiences with Teddy’s temper.
It's actually nice to see a guy who is punch drunk like ROach earn a great living. He would normally be full of hate. He came up in the tough, tough ear and lacked defense so he got cracked a lot. His days must be tough with all the brain damage trying to function. Roach doesnt seem to have a filter and thats not good when he doesnt have total control of his mind. I would much rather be Teddy than Roach, However. Teddy should not get into a hassle with Roach. If you watch the Mayweather Sr and Roach battles, they made fools of themselves. Teddy should be and is above that......
Brandon was 40% if that in the Bradley fight he had a lot of trouble making weight and it showed how much of a toll during the fight he wasn't brawling with Tim he had nothing that night
How can you say anything bad about the passion and the honesty of Teddy Atlas. This world could benefit from more old school straight shooters like Teddy.
Blessed are The cheese makers yup. As bad as tyson was he was a kid being a kid and a grown man pulled a gun on him. Complete overreaction. But that's teddy. He should have put on some gloves and said Mike let's do this. Mike was 15. Teddy was an adult with boxing experience in and out of the ring. Nope too scared. Grabbed a gun like all cowards. Win some lose some but live and fight another day. Ice cube should get a Nobel Peace prize for putting that line in a movie.
nah you don't give anyone the chance of success when they've done something as horrendous as Tyson did. sexually threatening an 11 year old girl? u serious? Fuck all that hes lucky he didn't get done in right there.
Teddy Atlas is no coward.I see what your saying & most if the time I'd back you up 100% ..BUT Keep this in mind. Reason It all started was Something happened With Mike & Teddy's little sister & I'll leave it at that.Mike is fortunate to still be alive and he knows it.Teddy didn't smoke him..wanted to at first but decided not to.Tyson has NOTHING but respect for Atlas and there's an interview from 3 yrs ago He wants it to be known he does. & My responding to your comment was just that ..friendly comment not trying no troll or clown BULLSHIT./ Thank you
Mark Whippy I respect horn but pacman was robbed in the first Bradley fight and in the horn fight. Pacman soundly beat horn. In my opinion Bradley fought better. But i do like horn. I respect all fighters. I think he made a mistake taking on bud. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt it.
In his early years workin for gus he had some serious shit with very young mike tyson and got fired for that because gus put mike prior to teddy allthough he was right. After that he still went on making a good career in training boxers and you can only respect that.
That reporter was lucky Teddy was in a good mood. I guarantee if you ask him about Roach at another time he's going to let you have it. Teddy Atlas is fucking gangster. When he started talking directly to the camera he was letting the world know he ain't no punk.
I watched Espn vault video of Tyson vs Buster Douglas in Tokyo and Teddy Atlas was a panelist together with the late Sugar Bert. Their analysis was spot on and I just like Teddy Atlas though I may not agree with everything that he says. However he is as honest as anybody can possibly be. I case in point is what he says in this video. Its not about him but rather the boxers who risk their lives in the ring. Can you beat that??
Teddy talks a good game but recently he has been trashing Tyson and saying he wasn’t a great fighter and blah blah blah. Teddy acts like there is no room for animosity and bitterness in this interview but he doesn’t practice what he preaches. He is pissed Cus threw him out as Tyson’s trainer before Tyson became champ.
He's the best and people like the fake shit now. It's an entire generation of fake ass people that like guys like freddie roach who want everything to be about them self.
Yes michael moorer thought teddy was too intense for him but hey teddy brings the best out of you i promise if he was in tyson corner things would of been ridiculous!!!!
Atlas' thinking is way off. You ever tried to manage a squad of 20 guys buy and sell players and be accountable to the owner of a huge team plus the directors and millions of fans demanding a win every game and championships every season. Bradley fights twice a year if he loses he takes the heat not you. Of course some of these managers/coaches get ulcers and heart issues
+Outlaw 2 I heard what he said so a football coach doesn't have the pressure to prepare to get it just right every time. he is implying he has the tougher task
+TheEndIsHere FinalWarning you still don't comprehend what he said. Maybe I will tell u in simple terms. He feels responsible for his fighter Bradley. If Bradley loses, he puts it on himself. Duty and responsibility of a pro trainer.
4:10 you're welcome !
Cheers
I love his intensity when he talks about fighters , this is the man you want in your corner.
I love the way that Teddy Atlas tells it how he feels. He just seems like a genuine good guy and gives honest answers to questions, never patronizing or short-changing fans.

corey hayward Mike is overrated when folks say his the greatest and shit like that.
Teddy Atlas one of the few great boxing minds still left in the game.
I don't see how anybody can hate on Teddy Atlas this man knows boxing train some of the best in the game
Ignorance
dudes a legend
Exactly he's the man
Just shows you how disrespectful and what kind of low life's this new generation is. Which also shows you what kind of parents these kids had. Pathetic.
Nick Gojc you ain't neva lied
Love Teddy Atlas. I also like Freddy Roach. Both are great trainers.
I like them both to I just hate that t hey don't get along it's sad cus fan of both

DGM New York And if they had a baby it's name could be Teddy Roach or Freddy Teddy!😃
You can't compare a former commentator with the greatest trainer of all time in fact 7 time Trainer of the year Freddie Roach
Freddy roach is a tard and kinda sus
LOL you ask teddy one question, but then he gives you an entire essay as his answer LOL,
He gives great answers. That essay is he proof of him being a great coach. There are no easy answers in boxing
Nick Gojc ask Freddie Roach and he'll give you simple answers and become victorious at the end. Teddy Atlas is a diva actress they forget that they were the FIREMAN. lol! They got burned down to cinders by Manny.

I know every fucking time . He loves the sound of his own voice this guy , way too much
I can listen to teddy talk boxing all day
You must be punchy too...Teddy's needle gets stuck, and he repeats himself continuously!
Teddy did change Bradley even though he lost i seen something new. He can keep his composure and stay disciplined to not brawl.
Teddy Atlas is a walking Fountain of Knowledge, and his words flow like butter on a stack of pancakes.
Beautiful opinion
Walking fountain of shit talk who loves the sound of his own silly analogys
Dogg pound1 respect the legends of the sport
Amen. Teddy is beyond legendary
"Seven days a week, twice on Sunday." That went over so many peoples heads
I like this guys energy. I think he will make Tim Bradley a better fighter
Diaz says he has no energy...only yells
lol no
f1ak011 he's a joke he's always looked to make a seen or try and say some smart shit. He tries to promote himself. The only reason anyone knows his name is because of Tyson
Terry Schake you mean other than the fact that he led a cruiserweight Micheal Moorer to the heavyweight championship of the world ?
@@edsoncanales5375 micheal moore is a product of Emmanuel Stewart
Teddy's from the old school of Cus D'Amato...
great talker... not the best coach
Tim Lord cus d amato the best boxing coach ever !!!
@Blood Taker yes. He's a fuck wit.
He also got kicked out of the old school of Cus D'Amato for pointing a gun at a 15 year old kid.

Have always loved Freddie Roach, but hats off to Teddy! Decent bloke.
If Bradley wins we gotta see him fight Brook that would be an epic fight!
+Mystic Mac even if he lost he could still fight and probably beat KB
Many facts spoken by teddy atlas he talks a lot of sense.
I just stumbled upon this guy a few weeks ago and now my whole feed is all Teddy Atlas videos and I've watched hundreds of them. Its like he never existed and now he's everywhere I look.

Teddy is a truly classy individual, one of a very few in boxing, perhaps one of a kind.
so many haters in the comment hating on Teddy...
+THE1LVZ yup and some people are just too damn ignorant.
+KontryBoy706 That's because he's honest and people that like that type of shit anymore.

He looks more punchy than any boxer I've seen!
Teddy is a special kid ...
Any dude that jams a .38 into Mike Tyson's temple is just too bad. I will always love Teddy. He ain't no guru, just an honest boxing man.
Rex Karz ..it was not atlas.it was kevin rooney

Bunch of Charlie Zelenofs hating on teddy
Who fought better against Pacquiao, Bradley in the 3rd fight or Jeff Horn?
Mark Whippy I respect horn but pacman was robbed in the first Bradley fight and in the horn fight. Pacman soundly beat horn. In my opinion Bradley fought better. But i do like horn. I respect all fighters. I think he made a mistake taking on bud. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt it.
Freddy Roach better chill, Teddy is crazy for real, even Tyson said he not fucking with him.
Like Teddy Atlas.
The difference is Roach was an actual boxer.
I think Teddy Atlas amuses himself.

Soak it up Ppl absolute a brilliant mind in the sport boxing.
Is this the level of boxing journalism now? A headline of one trainer disliking another? Jesus Christ….
I always have a feeling that this man is not an honest person
Teddy is the Yoda of 🥊 bottom line. Man is rarely wrong. He lives breathes n eats boxing. A true Great.
Teddy didn’t deny he had a problem with roach over moored leaving either. Teddy does seem a lot bitter.
Now I figure out why he doesn't like Pac. Now I know
0:58 Tyson Fury
I like him very passionate wants to win
teddy was taught by the man.

So true
Where the hell is teddy Atlas ? In the the 70's show?
he should have said "i dont wanna screwwd up' period
A popular personality doesn't translate into a good trainer.
Matter of fact even Bradley lost to Pac . He still won fair and square against the legend Dinamita Marquez. Bradley took serious challenges man .
ilove teddy
i love fat white women
Teddy is the only person till now believed that Bradley won vs Pacquiao.
i need fireman!
