You need to get from the manufacturer of the vinyl. If you are trying to fix residential vinyl this is not the fix for you. The tools used in the video are around $1600.00.
I want to do residential work with this vinyl but the manufacturer won’t want to sale it to me unless I work in the file of commercial building like hospitals or school. I think is just very stupid. Even though I’m a contractor and I can’t get it. If you know where and how to purchase this material, please let me know. As far as the tools goes. I’m not worried about it. I can pretty much purchase these tools anywhere except the vinyl materials and heating welding rod. Please let me know.
This was a simple demo video made for Aviation professionals so they could do a single small seam underneath a seat. I wouldn't work for your dumbass anyway I work in aviation m***********. I gave up carpet 15 years ago when I realized it's made to kill you. And if you're as old as me and still laying carpet and haven't figured out you need to get an education and get off your knees. This guy is clueless. You need a straight edge when grooving and the Mozart is the best tool for trimming off your weld. After your first pass the spacer spins round so you can do your final pass. You will get the weld flusher with the Mozart and are less likely to cut into the vinyl which you don’t won’t to do with a heterogenous vinyl like that one
That is a Mozart knife and this is a simple demo. I have tons of tools and autogroovers and do gymnasiums. I have an autowelder I could have shown too asshole, but I doubt anyone has a $4000.00 autowelder to do their own welding. Your comment produced nothing positive. @@frnkrizo I also have autogroovers and welders. That’s not the point though. All this guy had to do was use a straight edge while using his pull groover and use the Mozart for the final pass. Like you said it’s a simple demo and he didn’t get the basics right.

I stopped using a grooving tool years ago ......just leave a small gap in the vinyl. Works just fine 👍
