  • I review the KIMO 12V battery-powered ratchet. It's the best ratchet that cost less than $100.

Just got one 2 weeks ago. Used it to change the rear brakes on my car with no issues. Its a GREAT ratchet and the smaller head is a HUGE plus getting into those tight areas

LOL I was thinking the same thing!! I hardly ever use my air ratchets anymore. I just did a diff fluid change on stands and realize why. The hose gets in the way and it's a pain for home garage. This cordless technology is the hot ticket. Thank you for the review Sir.
BTW your SRT is a very nice looking ride. I wish you the best of luck on your channel!!

I totally agree ! I got the same kit and it does the job for light stuff. I love it on my motorcycle. For the price, you get a great tool. Warning, this is not a very heavy duty wrench. It would work with a nice 3/8 socket set.

I've been seriously considering getting this one. After using another brand I fell in love with the convenience of them. I haven't used my pneumatic ratchet 10 times in the 20 yrs I've owned it. I think the only time they'd be beneficial is on a assembly line doing the same thing for hours on end & the hose would have to come down from the ceiling.

This is a speed ratchet, for valve covers, trans pan ect. If you're removing head bolts or rusty bolts, i break them loose with a ratchet then zip everything off with this. I dont expect it to hold up doing caliper bolts or anything but saves time if you have this ready to go with your ratchet. I really enjoy it.

I enjoyed the review and this is one of the 3/8" ratchets I looked at but I felt more comfortable with the AC Delco branded ARW1208. Only one battery and I don't believe it comes with sockets but I think it's a step above this unit. It was 99.00 with the 10% off currently being offered. Time will tell I guess but I have a project to test it on before the return windows on Amazon runs out.

That’s sweet I use the Husky from Home Crepo and it’s about 36ftlbs and variable speed paddle trigger! It’s a 12volt lithium Ion internal battery! I’ve had it over 6 months and I use it almost everyday cause I have a suit repair shop st my house that I am in most of the winter and I’ve had to charge it 2 times! Swear to jebbes I’m blown away from it and it was only 60$ l! Oh comes with cash a car charger and a wall socket charger and trigger lock! I did my research too and no matter what your gonna need to break most nuts or bolts free or tighten and you can use the Husky like a normal ratchet too so this is by far the best I could find but I think I’m gonna grab the kimo for another to have cause 2 is better that 1! Thanks for the video!

The head may be smaller than the air ratchet, however, the air ratchet is smaller the length of the tool. The Kimo gets really thick just after the head which will stop it from going very far down into engine bay.
