I like that idea of using that space as you said, to store plastic bags to pick up garbage along along the way. I admit sometimes I see trash and I dont pick it up because i have no place to store it. thank you
nice pack. Osprey's are usually good for back ventilation. They're a little heavier than some other brands but are meant for distributing weight off the shoulders and onto the hips decently. My osprey atmos hip belt is similar...its height sits on my hips differently than where i'd like. a couple of packs I have that I like for backpacking are the ULA Equipment Ohm 2.0 (smaller pack) and the Circuit (mid to large overnight pack). The pockets are easier to access, plenty of storage, and simple no-fuss design. The hip belts are available in several sizes and can be adjustable. kudos on supporting the local shawnee trails outfitter. I talked with him back in January on my way back from Giant City before eating at Quattros pizza next door. I know with the internet, the smaller outfitters are hurting for business. I picked up a collapsible nalgene bottle/bag for water collection while I was in there. take care and happy trails.
It's good to hear a review from someone who actually uses the pack. Thanks for taking time to make this. Oh, and I'm from Carbondale, too! I was really surprised when you mentioned Shawnee Trails at the end of the video. I used to buy stuff from there many years ago.
you should adjust the length of the shoulder straps, I got the same pack and the back as a velcro section where you can make the back longer or shorter, depends of your torso length

Nice review! Think I'll purchase one online now 🤙
That extra pocket is for rocks😉 I'm pretty sure it says that somewhere in the paperwork you got with it.
What is the minimum height of the backpack, of the frame, without there being anything in the lid?
Great job.

Nice pack dont like the water bottle pockets
The water bottle pockets is my biggest gripe. What pack do you use?
