The thrift stores you visit are so much nicer then the ones close to me here in NY. The stores are usually a total mess, and the shelves are usually half empty. They also don't have power outlets easily accessible. Can't wait to see what treasures you find next!

Every store should have a cat. The Polish store in the Goodwill strip mall in Lake Zurich has the best food. My mom volunteers at House of Hope. I have found some retro items there.
Wow. That thrift store seems huge and looks well stocked. I have seven or eight local thrift stores and NONE of them are ever this well stocked with things (I'm in Fort Wayne). I wish I was as lucky as you! I still hustle and find great things but dang!
Really haven't been liking some of the goodwills lately. But I think goodwill is probably only about 5% of my profit atm. The only goodwills that I have liked are the newly opened ones. I'll drive 100+ miles just to go to one. Those have always had the biggest profit for me out of the larger stores.

Have to add, bought a computer that was completely refurbished by Apple at Goodwill. It was four years old, and sold new for $4,000. Paid $150.00 for it. Score!!!

Salvation Army stores I go to in IL are junk. Cluttered, disheveled, poorly organized, lousy selections and overpriced.
