I do not have Autism, But i have a lot of the same traits autistic people have because of my very severe anxiety, I’m getting my first chewlery tomorrow because i chew on everything too ❤️

@@jonahmarks3252 I really enjoy Stimtastic. They have a lot of cool chewlery and some chewables that are hand-held. They have some pretty fun designs and good chewlery for tougher chewers and for lighter chewers (they have a guide to help you kind of figure out what kind of a chewer you are) and it's all pretty cheap. A lot of people also enjoy chewigem, but they're more expensive and I haven't gotten anything from them. You can also find stuff on stores like Amazon, eBay, and Etsy.

I’m thinking of get some not just for autism but also because I have a ED called pica and that means I eat and chew things which have no nutritional value, so I chew plastic wrappers and stuff. I bit 5cm off my ruler over the last year, so I think they would help.

I have severe ADHD and anxiety. I'm getting my very first chewlry this week. Its gotten to the point that the skin around one of my nails is pretty much permanently scarred and receding, nearly all of my shirts collars have some kind of damage, and my old phone case's rubber corners are ruined. I also chew on my lips until they bleed and on my front hair pieces. Some of my most vivid memories are pulling out lego tires from my toys and chewing on them. Can't wait lol

I'm thankful for this video! I have severe anxiety/panic disorder and c-ptsd. I'm gonna knit myself a fiddle mat to put on my lap in the car and I wanted chewables for the edges to help me out. This is a great review and steered me in the right direction

So glad to find someone verbal with this issue. I found a pretty pearly silicone necklace that would look nice in your collections. Question. Have you checked your Zinc and Magnesium levels whether too low? Or if copper is too high?

Same, I have never been diagnosed so I don't know (although I share some traits with a few disorders) and I just get the urge to bite sometimes, whether it's my nails, my skin, a pencil or a toy I just need to, I never knew those existed and I really want to get one

Personally, I love the look of the puzzle piece. I would imagine myself really enjoying the little dips and such. But It's just iffy with the whole meaning behind it with like autism speaks and stuff. Are there any alternates that have similar large dips like that?

A lot a people can benefit from chewerly, I’m not autistic but I have OCD and chewerly helps me with anxiety, calming me down. I got a shark one and it’s awesome, sharks are my favourite I’m glad I found it. Great video thank you for making it =)
Thanks for this video it helped me so much!! I’ve decided to get some chewies because i have a big big problem with chewing on my nails and my fingers and my lips and also i always seem to have the urge to chew something (but obviously i can’t always have food)

The first part like about chewing everything unsanitary and stuff someone gets me I would pick random things off the floor no matter where they’ve been and just chew on them Styrofoam toys other peoples hair my hair hoodie strings it was disgusting but it happened and the weird thing is I don’t know why only half the time I did it I was stressed so I don’t know 🤷♀️

I’m an emotional eater (particularly with sweet stuff) and I also chew on my lips, which is not so helpful for playing the flute. I also have a compulsion to bite the cuticles on my fingers if I have a piece of skin hanging off or dry skin. I do try moisturising my skin to try and stop it from happening though. I’ve just ordered a chewy necklace off Amazon and I hope it helps.
My grandpa bought me a toy horse when I was litte. I used to chew on the ears all the time and it became something very comforting to me.
So everytime I'm stressed I want to grind my teeth on something.

I ordered my first chewlery yesterday and I can’t wait to not be chewing up my fingers and the inside of my lips. All of my nails/finger pads are all funky from chewing them for about as long as I’ve had teeth and I’ve gotten some infections from it so now I should be able to not do that
I’m not diagnosed but i think i have adhd and anxiety. (My mum refuses to believe there is anything “wrong” with me- im under 18) i don’t typically chew things but i really think these will help me a lot and would be a great alternative to some bad habits. Thank you for the video it helped :)
I do not have autism, but I do (kind of) have anxiety. The reason i think these are perfect for me is because I get these really random urges to bite something. I don’t know why, but biting things just feels so soothing on my teeth
When I get these urges, I usually bite my arm, fingers, lip, tongue, other random objects. I have even bitten my friends and parents 😅.

I just got my first chewie after realizing how much I was stimming when I was stressed. I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and have anxiety as well. I'm really hoping it helps.

I have a shark tooth chewie, an oreo chewie, a feather chewie (i dont like it as much, but its still great), and a stick chewie! These are very nice!
My friends helped me order my firsts chewlery! I order a 3 pack of the rainbow bricks a blue, yellow, and red bottoms. I am a bit sad though the rainbow bricks are shorter than the solid color bricks because I am a very bad back teeth chewer and those teeth are always bothering me worse. They should be coming in tomorrow I am very excited and I love these videos!!

I thought I was alone on the needing something to chew on with the back of my teeth that's so cool, I'm not diagnosed with autism but I'm experiencing so many symptoms I decided to get my first chewie today since I chew on EVERYTHING always an honestly I surrender, no need to be in pain, it's chewie time xD

I don't have any disorders. But my cousin (who also dosen'thave any disorder I think) told me about them. I tend to but my nails and stuff a lot. I just got a 3 pack of crystal pendants from Amazon bc I love gems (my cousin helped me with this). And they come tomorrow! But my aunt calls the "Chew toys" and they are "dumb" and told my cousin that. Sorry for a lot of text I have a lot to say
My nails when I was younger very short and would bleed all the time then my mum gave me a chew necklace and now they are Beautiful and long
I have Tourette Syndrome and i have a tic where i really need to bite on something and I have orderd a chewy necklace because my hands are all bruised because i bite them.
also my school doesn't let me have gum even though i'm diagnosed

I'm getting screened for ADHD sometime soon and I'm getting my first chewies this week! I'm super excited and stemming everywhere to the point where my teacher had to take me out of my class during finals as I was distracting everyone.
I've been thinking about getting one aswell, because I've been chewing on cables, hair, my lips&mouth, etc, might be because of anxiety or something else.

one of my favorites is the stimtastic mushroom because it is amazing for back teeth chewing and the color choices are nice and the head of the mushroom has some texture on it. and ive also had people try to touch my chews! i had a brown bat one and someone thought it was chocolate and just? yanked it out of my mouth to try and steal a bite like even if it was chocolate Thats A Bit Unsanitary

I have ADHD and I have chew on lots of things, like those hoodie strings, straws, pencils, and my own lips (it's nasty). I'm thinking of getting a chewie, if only to save whatever skin is still left on my lips...

I honestly asked my mom to get me one and shes like those are only for kids with autism! And she doesn’t understand that i like chewing on things like i would enjoy biting my lips and it would start bleeding and i would always jack up my nails and bite them and suck on the side of cheeks and would would constantly hurt myself by biting my skin and lets just say everything can u PLEASE make a video that proves the chew toys are just for kids with autism?? 🥰🥰🥺🥺🥺

I always felt alone about chewing my fingers off not realizing is part of my stimming... I never knew this was a thing for ASD people. I’m sad because I think I might possibly have asd and I chew on everything but my parents won’t let my buy them because they say “ it will just collect germs” so I chew on everything else

Don’t watch what ppl may say. There are many stylish ones that look cool. Try a dog tag. I get those for my son.
I don’t have autism but I do have adhd and have always chewed things to an excessive amount. At one point, I had a cheap leather purse and I DESTROYED the strap of it. It was just so nice to chew on! I had to throw it out. I didn’t really mind throwing it away but that wasn’t the only thing I’ve ever destroyed. I’ve also chewed on a literal bone before. I’ve destroyed multiple of those plastic straws that come with nice cups that are supposed to last a long time. I’ve destroyed the rubber part of those water bottles that have them and are generally kids water bottles. That reminds me, rubber gets destroyed around me. My head phones always end up messed up if they aren’t Bluetooth. Thankfully I’ve been able to cut back on doing it but I still just really want to. At one point I destroyed a phone case lol. Sorry for the long comment! Love your videos!

I would recommend the Oreo pack on Amazon by LeeYean! They come in a 2 pack and are amazing!! If you aren’t allowed to buy one then chew on a straw!

I had a puffy coat I always would wear in winter 🤣 I literally looked like a orange 🍊 I would chew the zip of my coat and the hoody that you cold clip on and off it was easy to put on and was heave I I felt like I was inside a little

Are there any chewies you'd recommend that are more flexible? When I was younger, before I was diagnosed I used love chewing on those silicone wristbands companies would give out with their logo printed on them. I have one by chewigem which I use all the time, it really helps me to focus but would also love one that is a little easier to chew.
You made me think of my mom 😅 she always talked about my Snow White Barbie doll with no hands or feet because I chewed them off. I always got yelled at school by teachers for chewing on my hair, clothes, and everything so I eventually got so embarrassed that I stopped. Now grown up, I realized one day, I eat so much food and I’m not even hungry. I just eat because I want to chew, and eating is more acceptable to the public than chewing. So I’ve tried chewing gum, but it hasn’t worked that great. So I’m going to try one of these, so thanks for the video and recommendations.

Yo I'm chewing on literally EVERYTHING!! Straws, bottle caps, bottle rings, plastic bottles (the bottom part), plastic spoons/forks/knifes, paper, cardboard, styrofoam cups/plates, the ends of hoodie strings, toys, skin, nails, inner cheeks, lips, cables (charger/headphones), soda cans, balloons, and MORE!! I recently found a place and got me a Oreo chewy!! It'll arrive in a few days CANT WAIT!!!!!

What is the disorder for chewing your cheeks, lip and skin? I do that every day and it worsens when I am having bad anxiety or an attack.
