I laughed when he said gesundheit instead of gezondheid'. For others it may sound the same but for Dutch and German people there is a very clear difference😂

I showed that part of the video to my Dutch husband and he gave me a long lecture on how different they sound. I was like there is no difference... he wouldnt let up lol
There is a difference between gesundheit and gezondheid. I live in the Netherlands and live about 5 minutes away from the border of Germany. I grew up with my grandparents and family speaking a dialect called ‘plat’ which translates to flat. In the province where I live we have to learn French, German, Grieks (I don’t know the correct translation I’m sorry, but I think it is Greek), English and Dutch (I suck at the grammar part). Though Greek is only for students that are in a specific class. Fun fact I score higher grades for English than for Dutch.

The best part is that David starts to understand more and more, but still only little bits that 'deeg' sounds like 'dag', but then he's so happy when he gets schaaltje=bowl right ahhaha aw

Ik kan hier echt uren naar kijken. Ben afgelopen zomer 3 maanden in Amerika geweest. De mensen die ik ontmoet heb vroegen allemaal aan mij om Nederlands te praten. Zij dachten dat het een verzonnen taaltje was hahaha. Hilarisch om dit te zien!
Wees eerlijk, Nederlands klinkt wel een beetje verzonnen. Gelukkig zijn we niet de enige met een taal die verzonnen klinkt.
