  • Exceed RC Madhawk 300 fixed pitch heli. After my first crash and burn I tried again in the study with similar results. Then took it outdoors and had slightly better success. I need to stock up on lots of main blades and tail rotors.

Thats awsome, I have the same story, I crash everytime I fly. Seems to be unstabe when going backwards and a turn, drops to the heli to the ground. I can't beleive that you get away with superglue to the rear rotor. Keep the videos coming its fun to watch someone else crashing. I will be posting some crashes of my own soon. Thanks

Reminds me of NASCAR when they come around the corner curve three abreast only this is Aerial Bumper Car. Ha, ha, I'm laughing with you, not at you. I got one of the beast on Oct 5, this ear, read all the hype, and I'm still trying to figure out how you got that battery in the battery compartment. I'm think the AirWolf is one tough helo, but it may look better on my shelf than sailing through my front window. I enjoyed your video. Thanks and you're way ahead of me.

Yeah, I'm getting better with each flight. Not as much panic like the beginning of the vid where I just let the copter drop. I'm surprised it flew as well as it did with the superglued tail pieces and a chunk missing from one of the main blades.

Hey man you got 5 star guts, but learn to hover first with the tail fcaing you, and keep it at about 5 to 6 feet in the air then practice some side hover with the nose pointing east and west ,and then practice a nose in hover, then once you get better at hovering then try flying in slow forward and backwards, and then slow flat circles to the left & right, then some slow flat figure eight's. All this will get you firmilar with the controls so that you will save your heli. Or try a co axial heli

Not sure. I can tip the nose and get her to fly across the yard pretty quickly. It's the same heli as the Walkera CB180 series so you can search on that one as well.

@johnartmaster - It wouldn't be so bad, but I keep breaking parts that x-heli doesn't have in stock. In my latest video I landed it too hard and one of the wheels broke and the battery holder socket for the wheel broke too.

instead of buying parts ,spent money on a coaxial ,so youll practice with coax and fly the madhawk much better ,,might load flightsim too on computer ,,otherwise it gets way too expensive ,,hope youll keep on flying

I'm surprised that people expect these to take crashes and be ok. I have been flying helicopters for years and even the $700 dollars helicopters can't survive even a minor crash with out breaking something.
