There's no such thing as "picky bride", this is a very expensive dress that people expect to wear once in their lifetime, so they have all the right in the world of trying as many dresses they feel like it.
I'd only spend my money on a dress I absolutely love and I will shop around to be sure it is the one. I think she's doing her, and I wouldn't tell any bridal shop that I've been to any shop before
@@jemmaj2919 I guess the main problem with not telling a shop that you have been to others is that (especially in her case after trying on SO many gowns) is that they would be bringing you dresses that you have already tried elsewhere. If you had only been to one or two places, you wouldn't be as likely to have the same dresses pulled.
Yes there is such a thing. But let me dig deeper. When you visit 20 shops and you have all the attention focused on you, making a final decision brings an end to that part of the process. I can see how it might be hard for someone to give that up. Glad she had the moment. It’d be nice to see if she actually ordered it and wore it.
I love that the bride was able to articulate the aspects about dress 2 that she did love and her consultant was able to take those aspects and just find a different neckline to put the whole picture together. That's what I want the day I get married. Someone who can help me realize my vision as I work through finding the aspects I love

Having tried over 200 dresses and been to 20 stores, I feel she's under pressure to find a dress today and not bother her family about going to another store, in other words make this store her final search of the perfect gown. It's a good thing the dress she found here, she loved it and her family did not put her under pressure to say yes to the dress. Congrats.

Really like seeing a beautiful bride like this trying on beautiful dresses, but for heavens sake, it seems sometimes as if they are marrying the dress, and the dress is the most important thing ever. Stop it already! The future spouse and having all those family and friends together to celebrate her new life is the most important. This obsession over something so superfluous is insane. Just find something suitable that fits adequately your body and pocket and you’re good to go. You DON’T need to connect with the dress, you’ll only wear it one night.
I've never been wedding dress shopping, but I have had some occasions that I needed a formal gown. I went with a girlfriend of mine for a frock for a formal company Christmas party. I had a connection with a hunter green halterneck A-line gown that I felt like a queen in. My girlfriend thought I looked better in a mulberry purple form fitting bandage-type dress. Said it made me look like a Greek goddess. Both were appropriate for the party, but I didn't like anything about the dress my girlfriend liked so much on me...not the color, not the styling, nor the way it made me feel. I simply didn't connect with it. Either one was only gonna be worn one night, it's true, but I bought the green A-line gown because it made me feel elegant and beautiful. That's what brides want to feel like in their special gown...like a beautiful princess. I'm just sayin' you'll understand where I'm coming from when you're in that situation yourself. 🤷♀️🤷♀️✌👋

Some people put way too much emphasis on a dress they will wear once. I was obsessed with wearing this dress for my very good friend's wedding. It was a from a shop I had always wanted to buy from but could never justify doing so given the price and that their dresses are too formal for work and everything and I would get limited use out of them. But this was a very special event and I decided to gift myself, even if I never wore it again. It was a dream come true to buy this dress from this store. It had pockets as a bonus for the tissues. I bought it months in advance and I was in between sizes so I spent extra on alterations. I bought it months in advance and planned all my accessories and everything around it. However, I couldn't wear it on the day because the alterations had been done poorly and come undone so I had to have a highly skilled tailor fix the error a day out from the event, which couldn't happen. I was initially frustrated but i ended up wearing a $30 costume'dress I had ordered online for Halloween a month before and no one knew any different unless I told them. I still felt amazing and was dressed appropriately. The dress I wanted is fixed but funny I still haven't worn it three years later and my life isn't over. So it is just a piece of fabric. If I ever buy a wedding dress I will buy two cheap ones in case something goes wrong, then just donate the spare. And I won't cry no matter which I end up having.

Hope she loved her dress! And had the perfect wedding!
Totally agree with you, finding the perfect dress is really overrated and asking a lot of your entourage, I would not have enough patience to sit and wait and endure this endless shopping; just find a pretty dress and get it over with, please and then enjoy the day, your family and friends, that is what it is really about.
