- This solo is a good one, Ian Moss was a guest on this Black Sorrows track, I love the bluesy feel, suits the song perfectly. Not a song ive heard for 15 years or so, but I always remembered the cool guitar work.
thanks, Moss is just great, lots of fun playing his stuff!!
another great video
@lensdarkly He played the sax solo on My Baby didnt he? Also a killer clarinet player.
I might post the whole song, great playing by Mossy indeed!!!!!
Well I love Ernie Ball Music Man guitars, this is the model closest to a strat, its the Silhouette Special, i have 3 of them, on some of my other videos i use them, I have a green one with 3 single coils, and a blue one with maple neck. Great great guitars, for years i played strats -like Ian! - but i grew tired of them, if you ever get the chance to play one do it!!! I like them, you can get all the usual stratty tones, and the neck is so smooth.
@lensdarkly Yep even the last few Black Sorrows cd's have been really good, and always kick ass musos on them. Timeless artist Mr Camilleri, has he ever done anything less than great?
awesome
Nice playing......
Yep, great vocals, Joe's high range is amazing, and Mossy's solo is beautiful. (Yours too Robelinda). What I always admired about Joe Camilleri, in all his incarnations, in all his bands, he always surrounded himself with the finest musicians e.g Vika & Linda Bull, who went on to have their own careers.
Always loved that song - so you're telling me one of the best Camilleri solos was actually Mossy ? amazing, Mossy gets around.
@robelinda You're right, Joe is more at home on a sax
Beautiful man,On which year did you record this?
Mate what key is that or tabs would be great!!
@lensdarkly Yep 100% Moss! Camilleri doesnt play guitar that good! I thought he was primarily an acoustic strummer kinda guy? always had 2 other guitarists in his bands.
