- The question is, can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in the Glazed ROM hack using only Dark type Pokemon? Well, it's a short question, but with a long answer, get some popcorn and a beverage and hope you enjoy!

Rules of the challenge:
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the Type Pokémon on each Route (Species Clause)
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
Shout-out to this game for including multiple ways to evolve a mon, ESPECIALLY a Friendship+Time-of-Day evo that can otherwise be near-impossible for certain players. (If you've ever raised a Budew as a college student or while working a normal day job, for example, you know this well.)

Cool run. I played this game, well not this one actually, but Blazed Glazed which is almost the same, and they're some of the best romhacks I've ever played. By the way, I think the reason your rival never evolves his Quilava, is cause, I think the creator of the game doesn't really like Typhlosion, but loves Quilava like, a whole lot. Before the league, in Blazed Glazed at least, you can find a stand in character for the creator, that is supposed to represent him, you know, who fights you if you want to, and if you beat him, he'll give you a gift Quilava with an everstone attached to it. Yeah, I think that says it all. So yeah, good run anyways, keep up the good work.
What differences are there as I've only 20 mins ago downloaded blazed glazed thinking it the was only 1. Couldn't find one just glazed. But tailow does have a different sprite to the one shown in this video
@@benjaminleo7011 Blazed is generally easier, with less tricky gym leader teams and slightly lower levels across the board, despite what Chaotic says a couple times in the video Glazed is pretty challenging (though not anywhere close to Radical Red or Emerald Kaizo) so the creators made a tuned down version after some community feedback

this rom hack managed to find a reasonable, compelling, and believeable in-universe reason for the evil team to be doing what they're doing. Real Pokemon hasn't done that... um... ever?
Team Skull was pretty believable to be fair. I had a lot of friends from the "bad" part of town and they pretty much acted like the Skull goons, right down to the adults not taking them seriously in any way lol. But then, they barely count as the evil team in their own game I guess, thanks to the Aether Foundation
@@bobthegamingtaco6073 I agree, but also yeah I don’t consider them to really be the “evil team” of that game despite getting the name. They don’t have the grand world-conquering aspirations that the evil team always has.

I don't really watch or play rom hacks, but the first gym being a car shop is really cool and makes wish we had more alternative gym themes like that,

This is my all time favorite rom, i must have played it like 10 times. Good video bro but when you enter the beauty saloon ( or something like that) on top of cape azure you could've beat the guy in there who gives you honchkrow, not that it matters but i wanted to say it
I forgot to say that you have access to leftovers. You just gotta go to grass gym's town. There is a house at left bottom which has a ship to trainer isle. There you can battle to collect battle points and with that battle points you can buy leftovers, exp share and master ball

Unless someone has a better explanation for why it should be pronounced with a hard A sound than a soft A sound, I'ma go with what's phonetically consistent with 'drastic' and 'Dracula'.

This jumpluff was the bane of my existance. It always used leech seed, subsitute and probably poison powder. Took me many tried to finally beat the gym
If I recall correctly Johto is oddly underleveled (at least it was when I played Glazed but that was years ago), so you could try to Monolocke it with an all-new type in honor of the "all-new" region. I remember liking the expanded Johto because I always felt that Johto was kinda small due to its focus on revisitable caves.
Granted, not sure how much of my experience is still in this version.

If you ever do another run in Tunod do it on blazed glazed which is a more updated game with less glitches, more Pokémon, all starters from gen 6 before the 2nd gym and some small story changes

Just played this game and its definitely a fun ride through 3 regions. My game glitched at a point in Johto, and was a tad bit dissapointed that all the megas are not included but it was a fun romhack to play

hey chaoticmeatball there a modded version of insurgence that adds more diffuclty new deltas and megas and abilitys that i think you would have fun with its called pokemon detergent if you want to try it
you should do a show nuzlocke ie bojack horseman: horse, cat, dog, pokemon with names from the show. Mudbray, primeape, and litten are a few examples (BJ, the monkey from season 2, and PC)

Shinx is a dark type in this ROM
I checked and even evolved it all the way into Luxray with the EXP Share during this run and it was not unfortuantely.
