Kinugasa bowl is from Kyoto, where I spent my uni life! It’s super good:)
These are easy recipes to make, with most ingredients on hand or easy to acquire.
I’m growing shiso, mizuna, and dwarf mustard plants in my garden this year, so I’m hoping they’ll do well. I started some burdock as well, but it didn’t like the temperature or amount of rain we’ve had this spring.
Wow, you grow so many kinds of vegetables that seem to be very useful for making Japanese dishes. I hope they grow well!
The first dish is so interesting! Here in the southern US, we make an "egg salad" that is essentially your tartar sauce, but without the sugar and ketchup. If you add canned tuna, it becomes tuna salad. (We usually use it to make sandwiches.) I never would have thought to put it on sweet/sour chicken! I will have to try it. :)
It's so good with the sweet sour chicken! Hope you will like it!
I think from the west and from the north , they look delicious!🍱🥘😍
Thank you! Please give them a try!
I can't choose, everything looks delicious!
Thank you!!
I really am enjoying this series. So many different ways of fixing the same food---i.e. rice. This is really educational, not just tasty recipes! The miso-glazed pork bowl sounds especially good.
Oh Thank you so much for saying that!! Your comments always encourage me ☺️💕 The miso-glazed pork bowl became my favorite! Hope you will enjoy it too!
That is so interesting and weird how the yam goes from something resembling a potato to something that could almost be mistaken for biscuit dough. I had no idea yams did that.
I recommend trying the Chicken Nanban rice bowl. It is so delicious. I don't really like raw onions so I subbed chopped gerkins and minced cucumber and it was heavenly
Thanks for the tip!
From West and from North! Definitely going to try both of these! Thanks for the recipes and good presentation!
Thank you so much!! Hope you will enjoy these bowls!
So hard to choose,as they all look amazing!Easy to do even.Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much!! I'm so happy you liked them. Please give them a try when you have a chance 🥰
Saitama Misobutadon sounds fantastic - great dinner idea when watching One Punch Man 😅
Haha! I've never known this manga. The name of the main character is "Saitama"!!? It's so funny 😆
@@JapaneseCookingChannel Yes 😁 One Punch Man is fantastic, I love both manga and anime! 😁
The tofu patties from Hokkaido look really yummy!
Thank you so much! Please give it a try!
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸. Food looks delicious. Nice culinary video. Cheers 🌷🌷
Thank you so much! Please give them a try 😊🌷
All those dishes are scrumptious. I was most interested in the tofu edamame patties. We're Catholic Christians and we don't eat meat on Fridays. A lot of times I run out of ideas on Friday suppers. The tofu pattie looks awesome. Did you use silken tofu in it?
I used firm tofu!
Always so delicious! 😋
Thank you so much!! Hope you can try some of these recipes!!
I love these
Thank you!!
@@JapaneseCookingChannel you’re welcome
Here we use caper and butter chip pickle in our tartar sauce
Sounds good!!
🤤🤤🤤
I love your recipes. You know it would also be fine if you could not comment in English since you already put English subtitles.
That accent is adorable, I just love listening to it.
Thank you!!
