    nice scape, it’s incredible how much a few rocks can transform a tank. ❤

    The IAPLC needs to have a separate category for Iwagumi tanks. Though minimal, Iwagumi is just as beautiful and equal to the complicated aquatic plant layouts we've become accustomed to. Iwagumi was Takashi Amano's vision and we must never forget. You are a young and gifted sensei, Tommy. Love your work. ♥

    Great Video. Tommy's scapes and the little tips and explanations are very helpful. The use of that bold rock is very nice...

    Really nice scape. I got inspired by your build and have build a iwagumi in a 45P which looks pretty similar to this one but I covered the rocks in kedagangs which looks just stunning

    You always make this look so easy😂 You are so talented! You always do a beautiful job even when you step outside of your comfort zone, but these deceptively simple iwagumi scapes Really show off your skills!

    I love these kind of single plant scapes.
    I recently build one with Glass as the hardscape. It came up really, really stunning. Until Disaster stuck! 😅

    Lovley build. I always thing that a type of Danio is perfect for these types of scapes as there is no cover for fish to feel secure. The Danios can adapt to the rock I think better than others - though I suppose they are jumpers.

    Hello, thanks for great video, can i ask about the Hemianthus Callitrichoides "Cuba"? Currently my plant has been set up 2 weeks and it appear brown algea, i plan to use seachem excel but read on some topic that “cuba” has been some conflict with gluta in excel seachem? Can you help on this. Thank you

  • @leonakalionking
    @leonakalionking Рік тому

    I actually did a dark start while also changed water every other day for the first 2 weeks, so that the ammonia is not so high that it impedes the beneficial bacteria from growing and establishing (not sure if the impeding part is true or not)

    • @leonakalionking
      @leonakalionking Рік тому

      And yes it does significantly minimizes algae growth other than the usual brown diatom and green spot algae

    Here you're running 20x\h filter and on a different 60p iwagumi a year ago you ran ada filter that does like 5x. What setup works better?
    (I have a fluval 406 (20x) or a tidal 35 (7x hob) to run on my 70liters iwagumi, not sure which to go with)
