Liked the founders, they didn't go for a low valuation as refit or nasher had gone earlier who were also doing good but were eager to get a shark. As anupam said think from an investor purview.. he should also think from a founder purview and look for a win win deal. I guess 150 cr valuation with 1.5x of the money would have made founders close the deal.

You anyway know they are profitable and give you a great exit. If you take 5% of the equity you might get a better share in profit, which will compensate for the royalty. So, why do you have to punch them down by saying we can't make money until you make 1000 cr business. So, how will your equity share help them make a such a big business?
