1st time playing through Shin Megami Tensei Series.
This has nothing to do with the Persona series, but this is the town location from Persona 5.

It's beautiful how he made you waste so many turns on Tetrakarn by casting Focus. This is the sort of tactic the player usually uses against the bosses.

Uuuugh, Beelzebub is honestly worse than Metatron IMO because of Death Flies.
Death Flies is nothing threatning if all your members are immune to death (which they should) the only thing dangerous with Beelzebub are his Focus attack but he has a pattern which allows you to predict when he will use it.
The issue is more that there's very little indication you need to be immune to Death to avoid the secondary effect. Even on a Beelzebub you fuse there's no reference to the secondary effect. So unless you knew *in advance* you'd have no way to tell you needed the immunity.
Must admit I got lucky my party on my first try had a Parvati in it when he cast Death Flies both my MC and Parvati died while the attack did less damage than their max HP so I figure out it was an instant-kill, my other party member (Black Rider and Titania) were both immune to expel and death, Parvati is immune to expel but not death so thank to that I figure out the Death effect directly for my next tries ^^
I got lucky my first time cuz my team consisted of Atropos, Titania, and Black Frost. I also had the satan magatama cuz I wanted to level that up at the time, plus it really helped my magic stats.

And the fight is easy, because For some reason he keeps Targeting both harlot and Arahabaki with normal attack

Beelzebub, one of the best designed SMT Demons but with a really confusing canonical origin. Like is he Baal? Baal Zebul? Beelzebub? Is he giving Chiaki a blessing as Baal and then at the same time testing Demi-Fiend and Baal Zebul and Beelzebub? Fuck man SMT is kinda weird sometimes.

You need null/anti-death or Tetraja to block out the instant kill.

Death Flies cannot miss, it's one of the very few attacks in the game to have this property. (Lucifer's normal attacks also have this ability, in addition to being almighty and having piercing properties, but whatever) Therefore if you don't have death immunity- it must be IMMUNITY and cannot merely be resistance- you or your demons will always die.

@@canadmexi depends on your party needs and if you can give a good fusion up that inherits rakunda
any demon can work tbh. but for me, i always have a de-buff demon with me (rakunda and fog breath at least, so i look specifically for a fusion result that inherits both) and with that, another demon that has rakunda in case of emergency (for example i run out of SP mid-battle with no chance of healing or something happens to my de-buff demon).
if your battles tend to be long or you have bosses that spam dekunda, i recommend fusing it on a demon who has high SP or can regenerate it by itself.
you could also make a monster jack-o'-lantern, if youre willing to put the time and effort in. but thats something i only reccomend if you have a shitton of macca. and i really mean, a shitton. if hes youre absolute fave of all time, its worth a shot for funnsies, but otherwise, as someone else said, not worth the hassle
Is there a difference between raidou and Dante when lucifer exist paining his plans?
Raidou has Pierce (Dante gets this in HD), and Lucifer for some ungodly reason gets a one-time only Diarahan that he may use about halfway through his fight to fully heal and basically restart the fight, which I can only assume will be in HD as well.

The good thing bout beelz and meta is they use 1 turn buff/anti buff debuff then attack, this makes easier to manage attack
Although fire of sinai - assuming max maka and not debuffed - hurts more than death flies
What platforms can i play this on, Any ports? Or just ps2.
PS2/pcsx2 emulator.
PS2 and it's a PS2 Classic on PS3. Plus emulation if you've got a system that can handle PS2 stuff.
