This wont really be that important, but I just wanna say that back when I was in highschool and first started to realize just how bad my depression was ruining my life, this was one of the only songs that I could find comfort in. This song, while sounding almost ethereal in its reverbed audio and slow-paced tempo, brings this sense of familiar melancholy. It's not necessarily a bad feeling, but it really helped me find a sense of comfort in this song and it got me through some of the toughest nights of crying and wondering why I just couldn't stop feeling so numb. TLDR; I love this song so much because it helped me out a lot when I was first starting to actually deal with my mental health as a teen. It's one that I still come back to to this day. ❤
People ask about the lyrics often, I figured I'd help out: White awakening puts me to sleep, letting me hear a peaceful song When my spring began, all I wanted was you Even after the wind blew through, my heart was rocked (Musical interlude) Even after the wind blew through, my heart was rocked Enveloped in the scent of the light, I forget everything but you White awakening puts me to sleep, letting me hear a peaceful song
@@103drs People often forget one of the main reasons the internet was "invented" and that was to share knowledge. No such thing as a stupid question if it's honest and with a pursuit of knowledge in mind. Glad you've been learning more about the artist. Really does have quite a few gems. I'm really pleased Space Funeral exposed many people whom would have otherwise never known about their wonderful catalogue of music.
To anyone curious where this comes from, it's from the bootleg album "Double Heads: Legendary Live". The album is credited in the files of the game (the title is still in japanese in the game files) As to where the creator got the audio, likely all audio from this game was sourced from Limewire.
i always wondered what was the origin of the image displayed, as it is one of the earliest uploads related to space funeral. is it an early fanart or maybe it is a long lost artwork made by thecatamites, who knows...
The photo of this video is uncomfortable, anxious, eerie, odd, I feel bad.. Me siento demasiado desconcertado acerca del dibujo del video, tengo un perro y nunca quisiera verlo en ese estado.
@Lazy0Waffle I don't think it's on that album actually. The song is from their set at Shibuya Yaneura, 8-14-1980. Appears on the "White" album, but on that album it sounds recorded by a different person. I'm still yet to find where the particular recording used in Space Funeral is from.
This specific version is from the album "Double Heads: Legendary Live" fyi You'd know that if you look at the properties of the music file in the game's files.

This is one of music's best secrets!
theres a high quality version of it on spotify (but somehow it sounds really really different...) and it's also called white awakening on there!
Likely the studio version, the other popular version released. Was it this one?
