The blazer is a style essential that all men need in their closet. And when it comes to casual, comfortable blazers, the UNIQLO Comfort Jacket is worthy of discussion.
What initially drew me to this particular jacket was its versatility. Essentially, the UNIQLO Comfort Jacket is a relaxed blazer or sport jacket that wears like a comfortable sweater. I knew that I would wear it often as it quickly became a staple in my wardrobe.
In this review, Khoi covers the style & design, how it fits, jacket quality, comfort & durability, how to care for it, and finally wrap things up with the pros & cons.

Are there any casual blazers you’ve been eyeing? Link to the jacket + 8 blazer alternatives provided in the description. And here’s another UNIQLO review you might be interested in 👉 bit.ly/2MqAhyR.
The charcoal looks great on you, especially for the price. I was just looking on UNIQLO today. Not a fan of the chasing the boxy trend.
thanks! yea, i prefer the older fit tbh!

Thanks for the in depth review man! Looks like a solid jacket. Tasteful and elegant, yet still light and casual...
No doubt! thanks for watching!
thank you brother for this one...never knew how to style this....now i will surely rockkkk it....
that's what's up!
Alright gonna need one of this the review was helpful.
glad it was helpful
Thanks for the review, I will surely check out this brand. Cheers 🍻
thanks for watching!
4:56 hey I took that pic 🤙🏼📸. Blazer Looked great too.
sup! i remember that!!
They should sponsor you! I just ordered a jacket for my husband based on this review. He hates wearing blazers that have no give so I’m excited for him to try this out!
now that'd be sweet! i love uniqlo. so glad to hear that. lmk if he likes it!
Khoi, great review, thanks for sharing, definitely think the blazer cut but the wool/cardigan material is a must have for this summer. Think for the price, providing it fits well (so looks good) you can’t complain, good addition getting the second colour to 👌
Totally agree! Can't go wrong with the greys.
Thanks for this review. I've looked at these before and this makes me feel better about picking one up. I see alot of the items from Uniqlo having the boxer look, it's a shame cause I really like their stuff. I'll just size down.
Glad I could help! Same, I'm not a huge fan of the boxier cuts either.
✅Another one of your videos saved straightaway ! Please keep up the great work - you’re by far the go to place for me for style and fashion knowledge. Top Man ! 🌟
love it...glad i've been able to help. more content on the way!
Fantastic video, bought a couple for myself based on this video and they're great! Out of interest, do you hang this jacket or fold it to prevent the material stretching and becoming misshapen?
i hang my jackets. it's structured enough that it won't become misshapen. make sure you have a quality wooden hanger though
I've picked up a similiar blazer from UNIQLO in brown, with a check pattern. It's the same jacket really fit-wise, the sleeves aren't too long if you are 6 feet and above.
haha..i'm 5'6" so yeah..they're too long..that said, it's a great blazer for men of all heights
Thank you sir. I think it is a good look.
Thanks!
What dress shirt were you wearing in this video? It looks great! I've been wanting a nice pinstripe with a button-down collar for a while
it's the oxford from everlane!
@@gentwithin Thank you :D !
a bit late but almost any tailor can shorten the jacket sleeve especially when it has non-functional buttons, it costs about $30 USD though so almost half the price of the jacket -_- any advise on weather navy or charcoal will be a better choice if you can only pick one? I originally wanted the light grey one but they seem to be not available any more. interestingly the label says the navy is 56% cotton 34% polyester vs charcoal 68% polyester 32% cotton, don't know if it make any different in breathability
I have the light gray version of this. Got it 50% off. It fits well and is very comfy. I'm looking for its navy blue version for variety, waiting for a big sale.
niice
@@gentwithin i was at their store the other day. The latest comfort jackets have lining on the sleeves now, unlike the one i bought back then with no sleeve lining. Was kinda turned off as the lining will make it less comfy. Now i'm considering the airsense jackets instead.
Thank you for the thorough review, Khoi. I’m 5’10”, 130 lbs., and am typically an XS in tops and 34R/S in blazers - do you think an XS of an older model like this would work for me or that I ought to first try an XXS?
yes, i think so. thanks for watching!
I was doubting to buy. But you sold me.
that's what's up. it's a great casual jacket
nice vid , thx for sharing ones question i really like the blazer but the blazers page measurements is little confuse , can you tell me the size that you use i am thinking we are the same size , i am 5.5 height and weight about 150 pounds , thx a lot
I got the XS. I'm about 15 lbs lighter than you, however I think XS could is appropriate for you now with the wider cut.
I just order online uniqlo Malaysia this comfort jacket navy color size s , for the price of 149 , i think it is the last stock i m 161cm 53kg, i think it suit my slim body type
Hi there! I'm wondering if I would like to purchase a Uniqlo blazer for business casual wear (comfort and lightweight), should I go with the Uniqlo comfort jacket or the Uniqlo lightweight jacket? To some extent, if you could provide a few major differences between the two? Thank you in advance! Much appreciated!
I don't have their lightweight jacket so I can't provide major differences between the two. either would make for a great casual blazer though.
Thansk for the review can we still get the old one? wish they had it in black
i don't think they ever had black, but the dark gray is a fine alternative. more versatile than black too. i don't think so, they update the silhouette often it seems
Agree with you. Uniqlo sizes are really weird. I fit a bit tight for an S Supima/Dry tee but see plenty of room in the Comfort jacket.
would be nice to see some consistency.
@@gentwithin also, I don't know why the grey has significantly high polyester percentage (71%) vs the other colors (56%). Would that make a difference in the comfort level?
@@michaelowen8 that's odd, the higher poly count would certainly make it more durable, but not much difference in terms of comfort.
@@gentwithin I just got the grey jacket for 29.90 final sale. Definitely a steal. And you're right, it's still very comfortable despite the polyester proportion difference.
@@michaelowen8 definite steal. great pickup
Does this fit true to size? Can i follow the size chart and buy? I have a 37” chest. Should i get a xs or a small?
it does run true to size although the fit is looser than it used to be. as for which size, I think you'll be good with the XS
Just tried this on yesterday and I have to agree the newer design feels boxier not a huge fan. I'm 5'11" pretty slim so it kinda hangs on me like a sweater lol
yeaaah...they're just following trends. maybe you can size down for a better fit for you
is it ok to fold up the sleeve? is it will affect the jacket or not?
nah, you're fine. I roll up the sleeves all the time
Nice suit
Thanks!
Can u review jersey jacket?
I'll consider it!
Khoi, I’m about 20lbs heavier than you? If I get one like that, you think I should get the same size as you? We are about the same height. What do you think? You think the same one you have will be too tight on me?
with the slightly roomier cut of the new jackets, I think you could get away with the XS. it might wear more like a muscle fit on your frame though.
I have the same doubt. I am 5 6 tall and 155 weight. I have the dark gray Uniqlo Comfort Jacket size S and I needed to be adapted. I would like to try the XS, but I'm afraid to get too tight. Do you go to the gym?
I haven't worked out in a minute...I do occasional pushups and pullups tho.
Great video! Can you put an updated link
thanks, which link? the comfort jacket link is still good
@@gentwithin - yeah the Uniqlo, it says that the product is currently unavailable:(
@@grantapusdonald6105 that's strange..it shows as available when i click it. can you paste the link that you see the unavailable product?
@@gentwithin www.uniqlo.com/us/en/product/men-comfort-jacket-425035.html?ranMID=40462&ranEAID=QFGLnEolOWg&ranSiteID=QFGLnEolOWg-aOuaxkYeX2wWNhbcCbVXnw&Rakuten&Affiliate&Style&siteID=QFGLnEolOWg-aOuaxkYeX2wWNhbcCbVXnw
Also, is there a way I can buy the old jacket line the one you had on and not the new one (light grey)
I prefer the more fitted one
Thanks so much
@@grantapusdonald6105 it looks like the navy and black colors are full stocked and the light gray is down to 1 final size. they usually restock the comfort jacket though, so i imagine the light gray will be available in the future. as for your 2nd question, that depends on Uniqlo's design team, as they frequently update the silhouette to stay up-to-date with trends. personally, i'd prefer if they kept things consistent.
I prefer the fit of the heather grey blazer slightly
the looser fit is on trend
Can I find for big and tall ?
i'm not quite sure..they might have a tall version though, but i don't recall if they do
You can get the sleeve taken up for a perfect fit. Your local tailor would be able to do it.
don't mind it actually. especially a non-issue when i wear it over a basic tee
Name and type of blazer please?
it's the comfort jacket from uniqlo...u can call it a casual blazer or shacket?
@@gentwithin wonderful, thank you
I smashed that “Like” button as you suggested, now I need a new phone.
There are too many Pieces for super glue.
my man! sorry bro
Just kidding, of course. Love your videos. Good staff
Wouldn't that be a sports jacket?
sport jacket, sport coat, blazer, lightweight jacket, they're all pretty much interchangeable.
Pretty sure the new model is looser to fit with the trends, which are leaving skinny fit behind.
probably
