This is a well documented story of the Dallas Cowboys Owner and Coach. From NFL on FOX in 2002, Jimmy and Jerry discuss their success and downfall 8 years later.
Yes, one of the best that has been shown, much has happened since, but more needs to happen, meaning Jimmy needs to be in the Ring of Honor. Jerry are you listening and understanding ?
One of the toughest days I rem in sports it took me a long time to accept switser it took this type of stories to get fans back u gotta be just like a coach from the bottom to the top or nothing matters
The results they've been getting since Jimmy's team ran out of Jimmy juice a couple of years after Jimmy left is just what happens when Jerry runs the team. Great PR and business, mediocre football.
I'm a Tom Landry-era Dallas Cowboys fan. I tried to like these two at first, but found that I just couldn't, although I will say admit the obvious that Johnson did an excellent job. I have basically stopped watching sports. Too much crap (kneeling, mouthing, charges of racism, players acting like idiots on the field, lawyers running the leagues) going on in the world of sports today. Sports just ain't what it used to be.
Absolutely 100% correct T4TexasTom, you wrote something practically just like I would, especially the part "too much crap, (kneeling, mouthing, charges of racism, players acting like idiots on the field), there is no doubt the NFL is not as fun as it used to be, and the Commissioner Goodell is much to blame for much of it. Just because something is popular, does not make it right. Can you imagine some of the players of the past acting like the ones today do? I hate when after a defensive turnover, everyone runs down to the end zone to showoff and celebrate. And so what happens if their offense turns the ball over on the next play? Well I guess we looked like a bunch of IDIOTS didn't we? In the old days that would be considered a delay of game. There was a time when end zone celebrations we not even allowed as they got out of control. Yes, the NFL has lost it in many areas.
Great interview where they discussed a lot of the issues that lead to Jimmy Johnson leaving.
When is Jimmy Johnson going into the Ring of Honor Jerry.
@@jamest681 I know right.
@@jamest681December 30th !!!
and here we are Jerry, 21 years later and still NOTHING!!!
It kills Lee, the teams history has certainly changed.
That was a fantastic conversation between Jimmy and Jerry.

@@rog9601 Well said, Rog!! My thoughts exactly.
Same questions could be asked today.
Rog: You're the best. Thank you so much for all these uploads. 👍
Your are welcome Brian !
And now a record 11 straight playoff appearances without the NFC championship game since 1995
I started supporting the cowboys a year or so before they got Jimmy and stopped watching them when Jimmy left
Make that 12
@@michaelleroy9281 Make that 13. Go pack go
Love to hear and know this
Going to miss this commentating team. I often enjoyed their commentary more than the games.

Its your fault jerry that the cowboys are crapy today
Who’s here after the Wild Card Loss to Jordan Love and the Packers?
Jerry don’t know SMH
Karma always gets revenge I loved, watching Jerry squirm
Jimmy walking in like “yeah, 500 coaches could win what Jerry? Thought so b****.”
J.J. & J.J.
