I remember years the ocean was frozen and that was weird. Usually snowstorms from the south are the ferocious ones for Worcester county . Thanks for sharing !
Thanks for posting. Definitely a different view. You missed that right hand turn to get your hot toddy at The Bad Monkey. Lol. Ocean Pines, have played those 3 neighboring golf courses.
Thanks for sharing this! My wife and I were just commenting this morning that we would love to be able to see the boardwalk and beach with snow on it. We are from up in Harrisburg Pennsylvania and spend a lot of time in OCMD.
I was there for the 4th and the fireworks blew up on the beach as we were walking across the one bridge it was a huge explosion and the next day they blew up the rest and we watched it from the pier it was pretty cool! It’s amazing to see snow on the beach!
We were down on Valentine's weekend maybe 5 years ago and the rain turned to semi frozen rain on the boardwalk. The wind was kicking the frozeen tiny ice particles on my face. Felt like somebody was poking my face with pins & needles. Quit after only one block and ran/slid back to my SUV.
Tell me about it! Flip flops yesterday, winter boots today!! I may head out this week and catch some dogfish sharks...see if there are any left lingering around. Everything else is gone until March.
@@ReelJayB I know right! I owned a mini golf years ago…great fun! My kids loved it. Ran some mini golf tournaments that were a HUGE success. (Humblebrag) I did some cool community things, so much so that many people wanted me to run for Mayor but I never did.
@@ReelJayB it’s where people (young, old, men women) take an annual plunge into a river or the ocean during winter! Sometimes for charity other times just for fun. It’s actually therapeutic. Coney Island has a very active ‘Polar Bear’ Club! Check them out.
In a few years I'm planning on moving to Berlin. Is Ocean City REALLY as dangerous as the internet is saying? (Like in the city) Just curious. Enjoyed the video.
Berlin is a blast! Voted America's Coolest Small Town! Here is my issue with OC and the internet crime stats: the stats listed are based on the population size and amount of crimes committed. NOT visitor size or tourist size. So with 7,000 residents, it looks like crime is out of control. What it leaves out is the 10 million+ visitors we get each year. When you factor that in, crime is minimal.

I would so be waiting in line at Thrashers if they were open in this storm. Great Oc Md storm coverage. Keep 'em coming in whatever capacity.
I love that line he had; if Thrashers was open, there'd be a line!
Thanks for sharing
thanks so much for the video ,you are a brave soul lol enjoying from a very snowy frigid baltimore
Great view! Thanks.

Hey Sam! Hope all is well with you!
Thanks for the video, never saw snow covered OC before 😀
Wow that is some amazing views
Thanks Jay!
Thanks for the snow storm coverage. Looks real quiet in town today. But windy and cold!
Very windy! 40+ in some areas....and real cold. During the video it was 31, it's 29 now.
It is cold hear in NCF going down to 40 tonight but will be 70 tomorrow. Used to live in MD and miss OC but not the weather.
The weather is the most unpredictable I have ever seen!

We get much less snow than Harrisburg, but it definitely is different to see the beach and boardwalk with snow. Hope you had a great new year.
Thanks Jay! Great view we didn’t have to see in person! 😀
Probably more enjoyable from a warm seat! It was COOOOOLD!

Ouch! I could only imagine....especially if it's windy! Some wind storms...mixed with the sand...feels the same way. It hurts!
I really like this video. Great / Great / Great Job.
Thanks Kenneth! I really appreciate it!
In upstate NY, (thats 2 hours north of NYC) this is considered a nuisance snow storm-
I miss ocean city maryland i hope i can go back to visit it 🥲
Left oc yesterday and it was 63'! Crazy weather. Any more fishing this month?

@@pittsburghliving412 Man that's AWESOME!! Where was your mini golf course?
@@ReelJayB it was in North Huntingdon, PA. After I sold it, real bad storms came through the area and destroyed it which was sad. Smart decision tho…
By chance is there an OCMD ‘Polar Bear’ club?
Polar bear club? Haven't heard of one, what is it?

@@pittsburghliving412 oh yeah, I gotcha. Yup, they do one here on new years.

OC is not dangerous at all. You can walk down the boardwalk at 3 am alone and never have an issue.
😮
Was u the only one there
Yeah, most of the time we go to the boardwalk during the winter we are the only ones there.
@@ReelJayB imma have to go on off season
