My First Thrift Haul of the Season: Which Ones Will I Upcycle?

Hit up my two favorite thrift stores this week and found lots of goodies for $35. Some I will be wearing as is and some I will be upcycling. You can find so many great things at a thrift store and help stop so many items from going to a landfill.

Last week I bought a queen size duvet cover from my local op shop (thrift store if you're not Australian). I intend to make a jacket with it. As it's pre-loved, it has no tags, so I don't know what the fabric is but it's cream and a very pale gold jacquard-esque fabric. I'm 6'0' with long arms, so it's hard to find a good jacket that's not $200. Why not make one myself?
