I started the breathing techniques and cold showers 6 weeks ago. I am now going without air for 4:15 on my last round. My sleeping has improved, my stress is gone, my strength has improved and my heart murmur has vanished. Thank you Wim, you fixed my life.

Then all of a sudden I could hardly breath hold for 1 minute and froze my ass off in a 30 second cold shower, because I was forcing it, you just have to let it be, no distractions, no competition just breath. " Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not who someone else is today" -JP
Wat do you do when you do breath retention? Do you close your mouth and close off your nose with our fingers, or do you simply not activily breathe? I'm doing the latter, but I don't know if I'm doing it right.

I have been suffering from chronic depression & PTSD for the past 10 + years and don't know why but seeing his videos changes the vibes around me and suddenly there is a wave of positive and spiritual energy flowing through my body. I admire his simple way to do. I couldn't never have baths in iced water because of an injury to my spinal cord I loose most of the sensitivity to my legs but his breath exercises are wonderful. They did relax and give energy and peace.

I'm very happy to come across you. Actually what you are teaching are already being practiced by Ancient Indians which is known as Pranayam(breathing techniques) streching(yogasana) and cold shower or dipping in cold natural water source like rivers or ponds. But if you tell people you are teaching them yoga or Pranayam( the words originating from Hinduism) then Orthodox Christians and Muslims do not accept it so I'm happy that these ancient techniques are being taught with new names and benefiting people. Thank you Wim my life is much better with the WHM I'm working my way to ice baths. I bathe outside in all seasons with cold water and do the breathing every day for 3 years. No depression anymore and are managing my severe anxiety successfully. Wim Hof Method works for me. 😊❤

Peace and joy to you Wim. Started a week ago diligently with breathing and did 5 mins in 44 degree F (6 Celsius) in my bath. Next stop is the sea not far from my house, that is coming in at 40 degrees F (4.5 C). Not ice water, but I'm working on it. :) What is surprising me is that I can hold my breath for 2 mins. I was a smoker and never believed I would be able to do that, but is comes relaxed when doing the 30-30-30. Thank you. Your positive energy is pure joy.

I had a very bad cold 2 days ago with blocked eustachian tubes. I did the breathing method and today the pressure in the tubes has gone and the blocked nose has also gone. Take back control of your immune system. Thank You Wim!
