BACHCO FORCE ERGO 24" BOW SAW - Some techniques & uses for beginners

Just a few methods that I like to use and techniques with my Bachco ergo 24" bow for when i am out in the woods. A very versatile tool to have in your bushcraft arsenal for when you venture out into the great outdoors. I have been using this saw for 25yrs+ if my memory serves me right. Its in my top ten all time pieces of kit. Its plane , its simple, Its cheap and it works every time i am out regardless of the type of wood i am cutting, the weather conditions or climate. I highly recommend this saw.

Be slow and methodical with the technique. Use the full length of the blade when cutting ATB

Make sure the nuts are tightened up. Cut a groove on the opposite side of the log, a couple of mm deep,start your other cut across from it and try to line them up. Cut on the pushing action and draw back to clear the groove of sawdust. Do it slowly when cutting and gradually build up speed once you have a straight line.
