Not enough people give them credit for their incredible rendition of songs. I like their version of so many songs, including the National Anthem and America the beautiful.

I think they started doing solo projects because they are required to do a certain amount of albums for their label, and them doing a couple of solo albums meets those requirements, this is just my speculation though. If they want to get out and do their own thing sooner and they found a loophole in the contract then that would be a major reason for them to go solo on some projects. Chloe has said in interviews that the label pays the producers, but if she and Halle produce their albums (which they usually do) they don’t get paid extra for that, which is pretty whack since they are doing all of the work. Things like that could be reasons why they would want to meet this contracts requirements and get out of it faster so they can renegotiate better terms moving forward. Again, thats just my speculation.

I completrly agree. The band was overpowering them. I could barely even hear them let alone their harmonies. You need a BIG voice for this and they just dont have it.

These shows have sound engineers
So not being able to hear them isn't necessarily on them but the sound department
If they couldn't be heard it simply means the sound department didn't do their job
Their mics would have just been raised up
They were supposed to adjust their voices so they could be heard
The instrumental section might have just been too loud
Which is a very common problem with live performances
So even if a person with a powerful voice sang it they might have struggled too

@@shippendales8543 nah, this was just them being too soft to carry this particular song. Any sound engineer who could fix this would have done so, even during the performance.
They both have very strong voices… I doubt that that was the issue.
