The problem with her behaviour here is it could brink on abusiveness/gaslighting. He's pursuing her again and again and he can tell something is wrong and he wants to get it out because he wants to know and he wants to help. She keeps telling him it's fine while she visibly pushes him away, doesn't look at him, even shrinks from his kiss, and demeans his performance for the paper. However, she's acting cold and saying nothing is up. That's not okay. That's not healthy. He did wrong, but she said she forgives him when clearly she has not. The thing that could cement this as abusive is her saying that he should be giving her the space to feel seeing as he slept with the bridesmaids. (can't remember if she did say this.) Logan cheated, manipulated Rory back into the relationship and is now surprised that she is resentful. This is not her evading, this is her trying to endure the blow that she took to her self confidence by creating micro aggressions so she feels like she can win from time to time. Is it healthy? No. Is it normal? Yes.
Everyone mad at rory but I think she's got the right to be. He frikkin slept with 2 girls the second they broke up. She unconsciously dsnt trust him anymore. Ain't her fault.
Right?? And then he gets all indignant and aggressive because Rory didn't immediately forgive him for going and bedding at least two women the moment him and Rory had a fight. And how he went on and on about how Rory should just get over it because "In his mind he wasn't cheating" and "it was meaningless" (how does that make it any better?) . He acts like he's entitled to Rory's forgiveness and refuses to try and understand her feelings of betrayal.
@@damarisanell what betrayal? They were apart for 6 weeks with no communication. She knew he thought they were broken up because Honor told her that. So what he did when they were broken up isn't classed as cheating or betrayal. Yes it's wrong he shouldn't have but you can't call it cheating. On the other hand, rory is the hypocrite, she's kissed Jess (therefore cheated) while being in a relationship with other guys yet never told Dean or Logan what she did so she has no right to walk around acting like she's morally better than everyone else. She's being a hypocrite. She shouldn't have got back with Logan if she couldn't get past his flings. She should have simply asked for more time or sticked to saying No. He would have given up eventually. She got back with him and then gave him the attitude. It doesn't work like that my friend. If she needed time which she clearly did she should have asked for it
I can. I think she was way to young to be married. I wanted her be on her own. Travel. Work. Love. All those things before settling down. She was 21/22 yrs old. She did not need to be married
I get why she turned him down. She was too young to get married and she literally just graduated from college. She had a lot plans for the future. I really get her.
Yea people are being way too lenient on Rory here. (1) They were apart for six weeks with no communication. Both are clearly lousy at the communication thing. It's not surprising Logan thought they were broken up and went back to his one-night-stand lifestyle. Clearly it was a learning experiencing for him and he realised he'd rather be with Rory hence went back to pursuing her. Rory is right to be hurt that he slept with other women - regardless of the circumstances. However she's wrong to make out that she was cheated on - they had no communication for six weeks in most cases that constitutes a breakup. She's also wrong to get back together with him whilst cutting off all communication and not having truly forgiven him. It would be reasonable if she got back together with him and was still hurt but chose to communicate with him and talk out their feelings instead of cutting him off and being passive-aggressive. If she was unable to get past her hurt she shouldn't have gotten back together with him. (2) Using Logans research to write the article she assigned to him without telling him is wrong on multiple levels. First of all it's highly unprofessional, she's pulled an article from him without telling him, and has used his work to write it herself, as a result she will get primary credit for work she didn't contribute much to. In the real world if she did that to an employee, the employee would have grounds for a complaint. Shen then says she did it because she thought he wouldn't meet the deadline, which is an obvious lie. She knew how much research he had already completed for the article, in fact she was able to write the article based on that research alone. With that knowledge, there's no way she believed the article wasn't going to be submitted. She's taking her anger out at Logan by undermining him in a professional environment instead of talking it out. That's wrong, and petty. (3) Yes, the LDB's plan was completely idiotic. However Rory instead of actually talking to Logan about her concerns was carrying on with the passive-aggressive treatment she meted him with in the newsroom. She came into the room with a chip on her shoulder and that also played out in her interaction with all the guys. If she wasn't holding in all this pent up anger at Logan for the break, she would have just let the conversation run its course and then talked to Logan about her concerns once Colin, Finn, Robert had left. And that would have had more of an impact on Logan. (4) We need to stop painting Rory to be a beacon of infallible good. She wasn't in the original series and most definitely wasn't in the revival.
I felt like Rory has never dealt with anger, sadness, or any other type of emotion that is okay to have. I feel like she is just bottling up her emotion which isn't healthy at all
Both of them were wrong. He was wrong for cheating on her and pulling the “we were on a break” crap and she was wrong for pretending she was fine when she really wasn’t.
He didn't cheat though. They were apart with no communication for around 6 weeks that to some is classed as a break up. So technically he was single when he got with those girls. I am not saying what he did was right. It wasn't but it isn't cheating. Cheating is what rory did with Dean and then with Logan when she kissed Jess. But her royal highness never bothered to tell Dean or Logan about that.
Yea but there's a right way and a wrong way to go about telling someone that. She wasn't actually trying to help she was just being b*tchy. Plus it's an extension of all the other things that she'd been doing. Causing Logan to miss a class, taking his article, etc.
@@kdollxo - Like when Rory was stubborn and didn't want to listen to anyone (Logan included) about going back to Yale? The more people pushed the harder she pushed back, until she was ready to hear it. we all hated rory during this whole debacle but then i remembered this thing which rory totally emulated low key “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” or something like that. some women, such as myself would totally become petty for a moment after knowing my boyfriend slept with others while we were “on a break” hahahahaha

Normal women aren't ok with being walked on like that.
Watched a load of these and Rory is just becoming annoying. No offence but I can’t be doing with her childish shit like just come out with it if you are still not over what happened. He can’t keep asking
And i cant be doing with Logan childish ways. I mever seen a 25 year old grown ass mam cried when daddy says something. If he didnt like what his daddy is doing get out and part ways or man up and stand up for himself.
I hate how Rory keeps acting like she’s morally above everyone, but at the same time, she also cheated on all her boyfriends and ruined a marriage and possibly an engagement. I don’t like Dean, but she acted like she was better than him because she was smart and went to a prep school. Yeah, they were okay in season one, but later on, it was HORRIBLE, and she also cheated on him with Jess, and Dean had an affair with her. When she was with Jess, I feel like she didn’t try at all, and I felt like, yeah, they were cute, but they were so different. She was a goodie-goodie and studied 10 hours a day, while Jess barely even went to school and was rebellious. Please don’t come for me but I think their relationship after they got together was boring. I think she had more chemistry with him when she was dating Dean, and he kept chasing her around. Maybe it’s because their relationship was short-lived. With Logan, she acted as if she came from poverty, and he just flaunts his money around. I agree that Logan was definitely spoiled, but so was Rory. Emotionally she never had much trouble growing up or even a job, and if anything were to happen, she had a safety net with her grandparents. Yes, compared to Logan’s 5 million dollar trust fund and her trust fund, she was going to receive it looked empty, but she has to realize that $250,000 is a lot of money still. At least Logan continuously admitted to being privileged while Rory just kept feeling bad for herself. Also, her grandparents bought her a building at Yale, and poor, middle class and even rich people can’t afford that. You need to be extremely wealthy to just spend 5+ million dollars without even thinking twice. She also cheated on him with Jess, and even though I think it’s Logan’s fault, she continued to have an affair with him even when she found out he was engaged. Those are not high morals and, she only stopped because she was jealous that he and his fiancée moved in together. Rory just needs to look in the mirror for a second and evaluate herself first before judging others. Also, regarding the team Dean, Jess, and Logan, I’m team, Logan. You don’t have the agree with me, but the reason why is because he is the only one that somewhat matches her energy. I think people fail to realize that Logan was the only serious relationship she had. And yes, I do believe Logan got worse in a year in the life, and Jess became a great guy and has evolved a lot in a year in the life, but she and Jess and similarly, to her and Dean were high school couples, those relationships can’t compare to Logan and Rory’s where they almost got engaged and married. In my opinion, in order for Rory and Jess’s relationship to be better and more suitable is if they were to meet later in life and never dated in high school. I think they have too much history, and there are also issues regarding the fact they are family through marriage now. But I do think that she and Jess would be great friends, but just that, like more of a brother and sister relationship. I know a lot of you guys will come for me but keep in mind that these are only MY OPINIONS, and it doesn’t have to be yours.
i 100% agree. it’s hard to compare jess and rory to logan and rory because of the stages in life. rory developed into a completely different person later in life, and didn’t seem to fit with jess anymore - he became too good for her. it makes me so mad that rory didn’t accept logan’s proposal, because she couldn’t let him go even in the revival. honestly the more i watch scenes of her as i get older the less i like her. she became such a hypocrite. she was so angry at logan for “cheating” yet cheated 3+ times. she also acted superior to everyone for no reason.
@@hannahbatcheller9345 I agree with you! Saying no to Logan’s proposal was one of the worst things in the show I’m my opinion. They dated for around 2+ seasons on and off, and for much of seasons 5, 6, and 7 was revolved around their relationship. By her saying ‘no,’ it kind of made their relationship pointless in a way. I think they should have made their relationship not as big of a deal or made it in a way where the audience was less attached to their relationship because her rejecting him ruined their whole dynamic, and as a viewer, it broke my heart. Also, the fact that she couldn’t get over him after 10 years is crazy and a little unrealistic. Personally, I don’t think I would still be hanging on to my ex after 10 YEARS. In real life, I feel like too much time would have passed, and we would probably have different personalities and very few things in common. Maybe in some relationships, it’s like that, but Rory never seemed like a girl that would do that. I was also curious as to how their affair began because I don’t think they mentioned that. Furthermore, I think they should’ve got engaged for a year or 2 because obviously Rory wasn’t fully ready and needed some time to process everything before marriage. During the time they should've got engaged, she could’ve focused more on her career and him on his because he never asked her to give up her dreams, but only to experience them together. Although I’m still rooting for them to get back together, this time around, it’s mostly because of the baby and not because of how good they would be together, considering the circumstances and the affairs. She also called him potentially “the one” on the Valentine’s Day episode, making it even more sad. I also want the future Rory and Jess to be friends and have a “best friend” dynamic because that would be amazing, but nothing romantic. Jess has come so far just to get back together with his high school ex, and in a way, he ended up becoming the mature one and too good for her.
Okay I really don't understand why she was so cruel to him. First of all there's nothing to forgive, they were broken up and the way she treats him with the passive aggression and embarrassing him when he still truly loves her is just awful.
agree! if she wasn't ready to forgive him then she should've said so. i completely understand why logan thought they were broken up, i mean she downright cut him off for WEEKS* instead of talking about it or just telling him she was still processing things and to give her a break, but no. she acted like a child and then was surprised when honor told her they were broken up! like what did she expect?

@@lauriecarson6483 If anything ur making Rory look like a saint. The same saint who slept with her married ex, who cheated on him with Jess, who she went to visit and kissed while Logan was away. Tired of people making Logan the bad guy when he was at least more honest then her and not as selfish

And I really respect Logan for not avoiding the issue and confronting her. He’s hella good at communicating and that really saved their relationship.
Okay this is my opinion I have read a lot of comment. I have a problem with this embarrassing anyone at work. No-one to use the workplace for their own personal gain. Rory has not mature at all and any of her relationships. And I don't believe at all Logan is wrong. People forgot the common sense if you stop talking to someone stop seeing them and you're in a relationship then you are broken up. Logan did what everybody has done to get over one person go on to the next. He has apologized he did everything that anybody could think of to prove very felt bad about the whole situation. But women do this all the time you say forgive someone and you don't but they don't admit to themselves that they're still hurt. Rory wanted him to suffer and he was. He doesn't like to argue he doesn't like drama but she does. What she should have done was stay at Paris house and he's back into the relationship. I think this was the first for Logan relationship taken by surprise he was head over heels in love with her. Rory still a loner she still living the shelter life and having yet came out of it. And it's sad because she's in college she doesn't know how to have a successful relationship. She had a sad excuse of a mother looking at her mother go into relationships marriage back-to-back. Logan is my ride or die. No matter what happened good or bad Logan has always have Rory back. And I still stand he did nothing wrong but she did.
@@boomds5602 yeah but she has maids. I never throw my clothes on the floor, or even sweaters or coats, but Rory is used to just throwing her coat on the floor.

Logan going on that Life and Brigade seemed to me to me almost Suicidal if Rory didn't love him then he didn't want to live. Also her feelings seemed to change from ,the doughnuts /letter. And being happy telling her mother about that.
When the girls told Rory that they slept with logan. Logan blamed the girls for starting troubling and shooting their mouth. If only logan told the truth then maybe Rory would have forgivin him. That's why I can't stand logan it's everyone fault but his.
Did rory tell Dean she kissed Jess while she was with him? Did she tell Logan she kissed Jess while she was with him? No No so she's no better. As for your last comment.. dude rory is the one who all her life has blamed everyone else but herself. She's never taken responsibility for her actions and actually tries to justify it.
I agree.

You can't believe it because you're a lovestruck idiot. Nobody with a brain gets married at 22.

I love how Finn asked if it was okay for them to be there.
God help me. I love Finn !
Okay I m kind of in love with Fin
Yes! Thank you! They both made mistakes. They also learned from them and became a stronger couple from learning how to communicate better.
She def needed to say everything she said about their trip. It sounded very dangerous and they were being very caviler about the whole thing.
I felt like Rory has never dealt with anger, sadness, or any other type of emotion that is okay to have. I feel like she is just bottling up her emotion which isn't healthy at all
OMG SIS WROTE A PARAGRAPH AND I LOVE IT! every point was flawlessly written!
But her royal highness never bothered to tell Dean or Logan about that.

some things just remain unforgivable Logan!
@@mariajiang385 oh bull shit
