I do hope they try to keep the darkness or shadows of the 3ds, because in some shots luigi just looks out of place

It's the game an actually remake or it's just an port with improved models graphics and textures like they do with the Mario kart 8 dlc tracks?
Mario Kart 8 DLC tracks are ports of Tour tracks, but those are remakes. This is a remaster, which upscales it to HD, improves some lighting, and replaces a few character models, particularly Luigi, who uses his model from Mansion 3. This is definitely a more expensive remaster than Pikmin 1+2, or Skyward Sword HD, since those are just enhanced ports. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD sits between those two games and Metroid Prime Remastered in terms of remaster quality.

Given that this seems to only be a resolution bump, the glasses-free 3D effect makes the 3DS the superior version.

They should have a option to change the graphics back to the og dark moon and have a option to change the models to the og ones
ok the game looks the exact same, the only diffrence is some models have slightly more details or polygons, like Luigi's fingers

Nintendo uses the most modern-looking version of the Luigi character model (the Nintendo Wii U/Nintendo Switch version) in _Luigi's Mansion 2 HD_ while it uses the Nintendo 3DS version of the Luigi character model in the original, Nintendo 3DS version of the Luigi's Mansion 2 video game (which means there that Luigi is considerably less blocky-looking in the Nintendo Switch remaster than in the original, Nintendo 3DS version!). (The same thing applies to pretty much all other character and object models.) What is in addition, anti-aliasing is at least *_partially_* enabled on the Nintendo Switch version while no anti-aliasing is used *_whatsoever_* in the Nintendo 3DS version; and the visuals are much clearer and crisper in the Nintendo Switch version than in the original, Nintendo 3DS version.

This game can barely even run on Citra, and after the settlement it isn't gonna get better. This port is a good thing.

50€ where i live. Jesus christ at that point i hope I'm getting a 35€ giftcard because I'm not spending more than 15€ on this. The differences are way too small.
If i didn't already have the 3ds Version, maybe I'd pay 30€ for this. But never ever 50.
