@@francescasandiego driver 2.0 is almost more forgiving as it is meant for bigger waves so it has more volume pushed forward and you can definitely tell when looking t the thickness of rails as you look up the board. I would say the sub driver is for a genuinely advanced surfer or for someone who knows how to just rip apart small waves, while the driver if bought in the right dims, can almost go anywhere above 3ft.
How would you compare this tto the Pyzel Shadow? I’m looking for a board that works well in the 3-7/8 ft range and I’m torn between the two. If it’s from 1-3 ft I have other board I’d rather use, so which one of the two is better for the upper range I defined? Thanks a lot! :)
The 2.0 is a rare stake the uber xl is a Mc D cheese burger. not even comparable. This is what the pros ride. the uber XL is a fun forgiving board for average surfers .
liked this board on my first session which is rare as some can take me up to 3 to know whether i like it or not. have the roundtail
If I got the round tail would this hold well in the 4-6 foot range as well or better for smaller waves?
Both would work, the round tail for sure will give you more hold and control in a bigger wave with more punch.
@@BoardshopUK I'm 5'11, 145lbs - Is 5’11”, 28L too long? Should I size down? Looking to use this in 4-8ft surf
i´m using the 5´9 stock in pretty smal waves and work better than the sub driver for my opnion
ohw :o
What’s the difference between the 2 boards

Good answer!
Spot on review except it's a single concave running through the board, no double between the fins.
How different is this board to the Uber Driver XL? I understand the XL is for older dudes like me just wondering how different they are.
