As someone who at one time kept falling into sin and lay in that ditch, the way I did it was pray the Rosary EVERY DAY, and our Lady obtain for me the Grace's to break free. Oh and frequent confessions! God bless all who view this and read this. God Bless.
I'm in tears. This is so beautiful. Thank you Fr. Emmanuel for sharing your pilgrimage story. I will refer back to this video over and over again. God bless you both.

That is how I have survived my journey through life just keep walking, praying to God every single day, asking God to give me the strenght to keep it rolling. Thank you so much for the video clip. God bless you all. Peace, and love to you all.
Just like many people here in the comments, this video came in the right time as well, wow! Thank you very much for these words of wisdom and comfort, personally I've been struggling with some sins for many many years and sometimes I feel tired and sad that somehow I can't seem to overcome those sins even when i pray daily, read the bible and do the sacraments (even though I do admit that I've seen many "small" changes just like you said, I'm definitely not the same as 2 years ago) the problem with me is that I've been in this path alone for all those years (got no friends, no girlfriend and not even my family goes to church) and tis is why walking this path has become very very hard for me. :/ Please pray for me so that I can find that passion, motivation and courage to keep moving forward with a pure, calm and prudent heart. GOD bless you all! :]
Your video brought me back to a pilgrimage I did in Poland in 1982 or 83. We walked something like 200 km in 9 days heading to the shrine of Chestokova (not sure if this is how to spell it). It was during the communist regime...I was so impressed by what I saw. We were thousands of pilgrims walking. I was with a small group of canadians. It was hard at times, under the heat, in the rain, feet hurting...There were times where I just felt like crying and quitting...But I got to meet some of the most wonderful people, especially from Poland and I can say today that this was one of the strongest experience I lived. God talks to your soul while your walking and like the message says : "Keep walking by putting one foot in front of the other." It's all about perseverence...
Made the pilgrimage during winter. Would have loved to have Fr. Emmanuel walking with us from France to Our Lady of the Ship shrine 3 days west from Santiago. Definitely hard, but after you have those "What am I doing here?" moments, it all falls back into place. Many pilgrims were not religious, but according to their words, it was impossible not to be spiritual walking towards St. James' relics. Doesn't matter where you come from, just walk and the Father will know how to call you. Definitely a journey you might start on your own but will finish with friends you end up calling brothers and sisters.
Its great to be able to watch a video were one can trust what is being conveyed and the priests who are communicating the inspirations of the Holy Spirit . Thanks Fathers for your faithfulness to Jesus and yr vows . Love and Joy to you .
@@ralph7545 Fr Mike Schmitz had some great videos were it also ahelped me cope last February, i myself had suffered a bout of anxiety and panic attacks where i am restless even at sleep. Every single day is a walking struggle to find purpose especially when life doesn't turn out the way you intend to. There's basically more dissatisfaction and discontent, everyday is a battleground. But keep walking anyway.
I get such joy from watching your videos and listening to your wisdom. I butcher your phrase “poco a poco” etc, but I say it all the time (: thank you for such authenticity and gentleness with each subject you share about. I’m praying for you!

Thanks Fathers!!! Hi from St. Bernadette’s Parish in Brooklyn. Wonderful talk. We all need your encouragement. I’m being Temporarily professed as a Lay Carmelite and in our spirituality journey we have to “ Just Keep Climbing the Mountain Of Carmel.” We are never alone because Jesus walks and climbs with us. Puts me in mind of Dory in “Finding Nemo”: “🎶Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming...🎶! God Bless you!
Thanks for the video! How about this: in my language, Lithuanian language, which is in a top ten oldest indeoeuropean languages in the world. The word FAITH is TIKĖJIMAS. And if you split this word in two you will literally get TIK (meaning JUST) ĖJIMAS (meaning walking). So in our language Faith is just-walking or simply-walking. Cheers.
Dear Fr. Emmanuel, During my reflection time with our Lord, God put in my heart to reach out and ask if you could be my spiritual advisor?. In the your simplicity your God bestowed grace reaches my spirit. All the friars in these videos bring great reflections and growth in my spiritual life. God Bless
Tommy Wakeman hey. I was pretty desperate for a group of friends that could support me in my faith. I prayed to God and tried to go to prayer meetings and events and I ended up meeting people who are involved in Catholic events and get togethers. I am really blessed. And I think you might be able to find a community too. Check out the bulletins of local parishes. Google "catholic events near me". Just approach your parish priest and talk to him. I really had to force myself to stop fearing meeting new people and telling someone honestly that I am looking for a Catholic community and just to be more engaged. And God really led people to me. I really need a community because I can't walk this road alone. Atleast not yet.
