Bolton is nothing more than a neocon who should be considered a military industrial complex lobbyist. Not a word that man says can be trusted and I am as hawkish as they come.
He is a foul creature but sometimes even foul creatures speak the truth sometimes.
I'm not sure what my thoughts on Mr Bolton are, but Trump attempted to overthrow our government, and DeSantos is opposed to supporting Ukraine. I don't care about which "party" anyone is affiliated with, but so far, my ideas are aligned with his, at least somewhat.

If China were serious about peace, they would reduce their 12-step peace plan down to a simple 2-step peace plan:
1) Russia stop attacking Ukraine
2) Russia leave all Ukrainian territory as recognized by the United Nations.
I'm sure it won't be hard to get Ukraine's support of this simple 2-step peace plan. But it is clear Russia does not want peace, or they would be implementing this simple 2-step peace plan already.
CCP doesn’t want peace either, while they’ve got a proxy war going on to ‘wear down’ the west. But they don’t realise that the ‘west’ is not even fighting yet.

I am reluctant to think having Bolton on the show was a wise use of your time, he has been very wrong on a lot of things regarding US foreign policy.
I expect Xi is content for Russia and the West to stay at it as long as possible.
There’s point in RUS being on the Security Council just to have discussions - they’ve proven that to be fruitless.

Great reporting! One question I got about all this is: What should Nato an the West have done to really deterre Russia from 2014 and onwards? I mean something realistic? Since last year it looks like we still are beeing deterred by Russia. How come?

Zelenshi was elected on a peace platform or going to Minsk and radifying the MINSK AGREEMENT. This would have keep Ukraine in one piece, NO WAR, NO BREAK AWAY REPUBLICS...PEACE ! What did Russia want ? No NATO in Ukraine and a end of persecution of Russian speaking Ukrainians and other minorities. However Zelenski was seduced by the US state department who couldn't careless about Ukraine but only wish to damage mother Russia.
If the Indian Embassy in UK is not safe then the British Embassy in India will not be safe either, remember this

Not a fan of Bolton, but I think that he was right on target with everything he said.
So we all know how unreliable the Russian aircraft/equipment is! So when Putin goes on a trip somewhere 😮 and one of the engineers have "accidentally 😊 left something loose 😮 and the aircraft has to make an emergency landing into a country that has signed up to the ICC re war crimes, Putin can and will be arrested 🤔 let's hope the engineering team are thinking along those lines! 😅😊 prayers for Ukraine 🇺🇦 and for the good people of Russia 🙏 🙏 🙏

every peace plan needs to be one question. who gets crimea. because that is the end of every peace plan.
Which is why the war will end on the battlefield and not in diplomacy. A major military defeat is needed before either gives up on that.

@@Tmb1112 i kinda disagree with this. I think people severly underestimate the Dec5 sanctions. My hunch is the russians surrender Crimea for economic reasons before ukraine can take crimea with their military. The Dec5 and Feb5 sanctions are not going to allow russia to fight past May.

Short answer "with Putin?" NO.
The legacy order of battle in both armies is a study itself. They rely on a company and battalion and brigade system. A battalion being about 800 men with a brigade having 9 battalions. The regiment sysyem of 3 Battalions is not used. A company seems to be about 60 men in Ukraine and 265 in the Russian Army. A tactical battalion of 800 russian men is common. The idea of Divisions of 10,000 men and Corps of 20,000 were used in the US civil war. Maneuver required a new layer of commands. The strategy inspired by Napoleon. Trench warfare also evolved then.

US Secretary of State Blinken recently visited the former Soviet Republics Kazakhstan (40% of the world's unmined uranium) and Uzbekistan on China's border. Xi visits Moscow and asks Putin, "What the f***?"

The new trilateral relationship for the new Aussie submarines will probably have contracts for. Mitsubishi Corp.. I would hope that Toshiba Corp.. will also be drawn in to this contract.
Mitsubishi does nuclear and would presumably have a role in maintaining, fueling, etc., the reactors. What would Toshiba do and why would they be needed?

Toshiba make military vehicles as well as TVs, to MRI and radiotherapy machines. They make good air con units, too!

So is Xi's name pronounced Shi, Chi or Zhi (with 'zh' pronounced like the 's' in 'pleasure')? There does not seem to be any consistency.
I'd prefer to hear journalists refer to him as Winnie or Pooh.

If Dom knew what he was talkin about he'd know that every soldier has difficulty getting ammunition under fire in battle during a war of attrition..
