I don’t think akari and ray have that bad of fates since IF they got sent back, it probably is to the time where they got sent to ancient times, and not the amount of time they spent in hisui. Also, you can litterally catch arceus in that game, so what’s saying they CAN’T go back? If and when they’re sent back, they can probably choose what time to go back to, AND if the theory that they are the main characters in bdsp is true, that means that they can catch arceus and go back and forth though time with no consequences

The professors never traveled through time, only the AI versions. The real professors are literally dead, killed by the second Koraidon and Miraidon. It is believed that the protagonist of the Arceus legend is his own ancestor, so he/she probably fell in love and started a family so he/she had a happy ending. And you forgot Ingo who had the same problems but no happy ending
i like to imagine that rei and Akari are allowed to travel back to the present day whenever they want, but Arceus also allows them to go back in time too, and whenever you quit the game, you go back to the present, and you decide to go back to the past when you reopen in

I think that the ones who were sent to the past are actuqlly dawn and lucas, and Akari and Rei are the ones who weren't sent back.
Bruh, what about Ingo the same damn thing happened to him in Legends Arceus, his brother Emmet doesn't know where the hell his brother even is also let's not forget Ingo's old Pokémon like Chandelure?
From what I’m aware of with Turo and Sada, they were attacked and killed by the second more aggressive Koridon/Miriadon because they threw themselves in front of the pokemon to save the one the respected legendary the player character uses. They never got to see the past or future and Arven their son gets slammed with the knowledge of both versions of his parents dying, being the real one and then their robotic one in both games.
What about volo? He's basically cast out of any village or shelter, due to what he did, and he's forced to live his life knowing what he did was all for nothing, like imagine you spent SO long trying to figure out a plan to do something, but someone stopped you and it ruined your life, reputation and likleyhood of surviving.
No one other than rei/akari and cogita know what volo has done. For everyone else he is just a travelling merchant.

What about Lysandre in both the anime and in X and Y?
In the anime, he's sent somewhere by Zygarde, we have no idea if he's dead or alive wherever he is, along with his Gyarados and his Pyroar.
as for X and Y, he was hit by the blast of the ultimate weapon, he's likely still alive and stuck under the rubble of the Team Flare HQ unable to get out.

@@dominictoth972 They were killed by the other koraidon/miraidon. They never used the time machine on themselves, only pokeballs. The AI professors were the only ones to use the time machine at the end of the game. But the real professors got time traveled by terapogos' power; not traveling to a "different reality" but their future.

Hypothetically if someone finds the poke balls of akari or ray and sends them out, that means they don’t stay in there forever
Ok but the original Sara and Turo died to the first miraidon/koraidon while protecting the second miraidon/koraidon. The AI goes to the past/future, and it’s just an alternate Sada/Turo.
