Black Sabbath was considered by the Media of their time to be a band associated with the occult. This song is merely an attempt to get the Christians of their backs
Let me tell you boys and girls; I used to laugh at these guys in the 80's and I was dead wrong. They are a seriously talented band and God is definitely on their side. I have doubted it before and I don't doubt it anymore. Jesus Saves!
@@oldschool250 why do you assume I lost my faith when I left church? I KNOW there is a creator and faith is for fearfull people. That's why I left. Yes, I worship Lucifer. The bright Morning Star. The Christ. You research true Knowledge yourself and you'll understand you have to go inside to understand the Creator. That's what Jesus taught us to do. But most Christians are afraid to do so. They are afraid of the scary mirrors of the past and future.. but it's the only Way, Truth and Life. May your 'God' bless you.
This cover is straight up ridiculous. Stryper continues to get better and better. They have solidified themselves as one of my top 5 all-time favorite bands.
I love playing this Sabbath tune for people all through the years, that told me Black Sabbath worshipped the devil. Of course none of them ever heard it....& were speechless after. Ah ha ha ha ha!!
I couldn't believe it when I first played this Sabbath song over 40 years ago. Amazing that they should write this! Best wishes from Belfast Northern Ireland.
I heard this song before but never paid attention to the lyrics. I realized about it Christian connotation while watching the UA-cam channel ‘the Catholic talk show’ where catholic priest and some believers were listening and explaining how awesome this song was and saying that Black sabbath could have been the first Christian rock band because of this song.
there's a lot of songs that Sabbath does that refute that hideous notion. But too many people get that notion in their head and just run with it. Kinda sad really. Those are some of their best tunes.
I am amazed with this!! I have had to convince a few people over the years that Black Sabbath isnt satanic and Iv always used this song off of Master of Reality!
Nectar, bad ass band ! I saw them n A tiny theatre years ago and they blew the other band away n my friend caught A Bible . Sabbath's lyrics used in the proper capacity !
Oh, my! Absolutely shredded me! Tore me up! Magnificent!! Perfect fit for Fallen, just as Jesus Is Just Alright was a perfect fit for No More Hell To Pay. Genius!!!!
+SilverM1y I keep saying everything you just said. I'm totally blown away! This new album.... I don't know how Stryper is doing it... not only is this a HUGE come-back for them but there can be no doubt now... they are proving beyond any doubt that they are one of the greatest 80's metal bands period!
I didn't know what to expect. Considering Biohazard did a great job in covering this song. I am pleased with theirs and this cover. Something not lost on either cover: the energy. I don't care who's playing it. Something that gets me pumped. Sounds great.
"After Forever" is a song by English rock band Black Sabbath. The song was released on their third studio album Master of Reality in 1971, and later the same year it had been released as the first single from the album, but failed to chart anywhere.
Always loved this song;and that is a powerful cover of it! But I am no authority, and maybe there is a bit of an uppermid ring between 2:12 and 2:40 on my inexpensive system. Some people do that. Love the heavier sound though.
Great cover. Wish sabbath did some more obviously Christian tunes. Would stryper ever cover Crazy Train. About cold war but still lyrics about learning how to love.
Always tried to tell people that Ozzy is not evil but actually very educated and believes in Christ, like Alice Cooper. This is the media trying to control things and not listening to lyrics. My favorite Sabbath song done well by Stryper.
JESUS IS SAVOIR THAT WILL SAVE YOU FOREVER, JUST ASK HIM JESUS WILL NEVER SAY NO TO SALVATION THE POWER IN JESUS BLOOD WILL WASH YOU WHITE HAS SNOW FOREVER AND EVER 777 + 777 MEANS EVERLASTING YIELD TO JESUS LOVE NOW
Nice that Stryper covered the very first Christian Metal song ever written..... The boys in Sabbath would be proud!

I had no idea Black Sabbath wrote a song like this. Cool! Definitely going to hunt down the original.

Saves from WHAT exactly? I left christianity because of that false doctrine. But I am looking forward to your explanation. 😊

Forget the cover, as awesome as it is. Is it too late?? Trust in Christ and His Word.
Stryper covering the first and best Christian metal song ever 🤘✝️✡️
Possibly the greatest Black Sabbath cover I've ever heard!
2nd best Sabbath cover . Number one is Sepultura’s cover of Symptom Of The Universe.
listen to the cover of the same song by Deliverance
I think Biohazard covered this song back in 1994 "Nativity in black " tribute album...
Excellent Sabbath cover. Wow.
I can hear Timothy!!!! Perfection!!!!
Sounds as if this song had originally been written for Stryper in the first place. Obviously they knocked this one out of the ballpark!
This cover is straight up ridiculous. Stryper continues to get better and better. They have solidified themselves as one of my top 5 all-time favorite bands.
At this point they are the number 1 metal/hard rock band in the world. No doubt about it
@@benireges For me I prefer heavier metal or symphonic metal, but Styper is really good. For me #1 is Deliverance.
@@trickshotsmoviesandcubing2317 heavier metal? check out stryper's "take it to the cross" and "the valley" if u want heavy....
So many people should review this song. Thanks Black Sabbath! Thanks Stryper!

this here is my most favorite cover from Stryper
this album is great . i don't the band has ever sounded or looked better than they do now . easy the worlds best christian metal band .
This song really does fit Stryper like a glove...a great cover :)
Great job guys for recording a secular heavy metal song by none other than Black Sabbath. I think Sabbath would be proud. Keep on rocking 🙏
I mean, I'd view it as a Christian metal song by Sabbath, not a secular song by Sabbath.
Have you read the lyrics? Nothing about this is secular
Stryper should tour with Whitesnake ❤❤❤
It's an awesome Sabbath song! Nice job, Stryper! I think "The Soldiers" (Stryper fans) will like it:)🐝🚧😇🎸🎤🎵👍🏻

Now THIS is how you do religious music! I ain’t even Christian, but damn this is a banger.
Christians don't use the term "religious" or "religion." To them it's a relation, not religion
I hope you know Jesus now.

Both Stryper and Deliverance do fantastic covers of this song.
