I have some traits of type A personality, but also some of type B personality. Therefore, I'm a type C and this seems pointless.
I took both tests and one said I'm A and the other said I'm B :/ C's are killing it.
I'm just over the edge, so according to these tests I'm a type a, but I feel like there should be a c.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but this isn't teaching science. To really understand and be able to use it you will still need to put in effort and try to wrap your head around complicated things. A good teacher can make a huge difference, but you'll still need to do the effort.

Obviously everyone has a diverse variety of aspects throughout their lives which can be characterized type A or B, but I don't think anyone is strictly one or the other. That is one huge issue with personality tests. I believe that personalities are fluid and are relative to the circumstance.
i got 5/10 and 174/345, i am basically in the middle and do some Type A things, some Type B. Proves your point

It's another one more based on a way larger variety, possibly more accurate, but still even then, I've taken these tests about 5-6 times now and I keep getting between 2, sometimes 3 personality types. It's pretty interesting.
I think I am the best judge of my personality.
I don't study often since its "desk work" and I just can't do it. that's why I loved DT in school and want to be a pilot.
However I am responsible for my belongings.

I'm a very successful Type B but I'm not driven my ambition and competition, I do well because I'm likeable and easy to work with. People think that you need to be a dog-eat-dog person to make to the top, but you don't, sometimes, the right people just have to like you. Type B's tend to also be very creative big thinkers and in contrast Type A's are obsessed with details so we end up being better bosses, in my opinion.

***** That's a very Type B thing to do! lol. One time, while I was working at a firm this man used to walk by and talk to me all the time. I didn't even know who he was but I was always friendly and nice to him anyway and we would joke sometimes. One day he told me that I was always so friendly and approachable. He found out that I was leaving the firm soon and he gave me his card and told me to reach out if I ever needed a new job or if I needed contacts in other industries. Turns out he was an important client, CEO of his own company. I think Type B's get most of their connections through befriending people.
My friend is a Type A, she relies more heavily on her credentials and work ethic to get ahead and she's always complaining about how hard it is. Meanwhile, I just make friends with the right people, mostly by accident. She kind of resents this because she feels like she's the one who works the hardest. I told her that in life its not about who works the hardest but who works the smartest. Type A's, they don't get that, lol.

***** Yeah, because we live in a society where we write books and articles and have week long seminars to encourage people to be more confident in themselves yet as soon as they ACTUALLY show any small indication of confidence in themselves we immediately attack them for bragging. We tell them that their confidence in themselves is now "off-putting." Because we live in a world where we feel more comfortable about ourselves when other people call themselves ugly instead of pretty or we like it when people point out their flaws instead of talking about their accomplishments. We feel better when people say that they are losers who can never do anything right. We feel better when people don't call themselves successful. And we do this because we think its a sign of humility and humbleness. And in some ways, it can be humble. But the majority of the time its just a whole lot of insecure people who can't stand hearing other people's accomplishments or successes because it makes them feel even worst about themselves. People assume that Type B's are not successful so my response to that is that sometimes Type B's can be successful. I am 28 years old, I graduated from law school 3 years ago and I work for a decent firm in NYC. So in this case, I would say that my definition of successful actually applies, based on my own standards. It's a fallacy to assume that people who think highly of themselves lack humility or that they are overcompensating. In most cases, we are merely people who have learned to stop beating up on ourselves so much and to instead work on our weakness and to not be afraid to be proud of our strengths. And that is the difference between people who actually become successful and those who do not. I never tear down anyone else in the process. I ALWAYS encourage others to be the best that they can be. If me talking about my accomplishments is "off-putting" than that is a personal problem due to the other person projecting their own insecurities on those who "make" them feel uncomfortable about themselves. No one does that to you but yourself. Allow people to love themselves. Allow people to be proud of themselves. Maybe their wouldn't be so many depressed, suicidal, and anxiety ridden people if they were free to love and appreciate themselves without the risk of being called an arrogant asshole!

Because it splits up in 4 (5) functions/tendencies which leads to 16 types that can still be divided in two different ones (as in t and a as turbulent and assertive).
So the probability of it being correct is way higher :)
I mean I am an INTJ and have really strong tendencies especially on T and J but I am also a pretty obvious A Personality those things can be used together I mean most mbti fans use also anagram types which I do not really understand but will probably learn about when I feel like it to type myself

Hibari Kyoya I'm 100% type B. I'm very proud of having a type B personality. I know around 3 people in my life that have a type A personality that got into depression due to a lot of stress for not being able to finish their work on time and causing them to fail their exams. Depression is not a good thing. I prefer enjoying what I'm doing and not bragging about 1 or 2 exams. I'm 16 and I'm hopefully going to get into university in 2 years. I'm not a workaholic because I'm type B, but I still get the job done. I always find a way to release stress and get over any problems within minutes. I personally find type A people boring when they can't spare a minute or two to have fun, i just prefer type B people. Just because type B people are lazy, it doesn't mean that they are going to drop out of school, NO. Type B people are just more to having fun then studying, but we can still get good grades and finish school and get a GOOD diploma.
INTZE production I am the kind of guy that loves to meet new people but if I wanna be social I suck at it, I'm not good at making friends either so i only have like 2 friends. One of whom I spend more time with as apposed to the other because the other guy is a busy person (type A), while my close friend is pretty much like me in every way. I am almost 21 and I still haven't espablished a career for myself simply because I am not the kind of person that focuses on the future. Like you said, people with type B personalities can still have the higher paying jobs. As long as you have the right self-discipline.
Hibari Kyoya Type A people are extremely annoying at times, but I still like type A personalities, but I prefer type B. I sometimes get together with my cousins and have a fun time together. One of my cousin is type A and he often gets bored and decides to go on with his day. Whenever all of us want a sleepover, my type A cousin just prefers to go home, sleep early and go on with his day, things like that is extremely annoying. But some type B people can get very annoying if only they care about is fun. Type B people are just people that have a more positive view to life and like doing a lot of things, while still doing important things like studying. Type A people on the other hand, prefer doing more of a specific thing and avoid a lot of fun, don't get me wrong, they still have fun, but not as much as type B. I'm a 100% type B person, so I can tell a big difference between personalities. Life should be success and fun, not only success. I'm proud of being a Type B.

I'm always a year late for watching these videos
I'm adaptable between these 2. I tend to do better when I have more of a structure, although I tend to overall approach life like a B type personality, being a little more passive in my approach to handling daily situations, but also applying a type A quality with addressing every problem as soon as it appears. My health is a factor, because I suffer from poor mental health and am paid to fully take care of my mother, I am not always equipped to instantly address every problem in our lives in an extremely quick excellently efficient way. Therefore, I have to consider everything more carefully before I act, and simply keep as calm and positive as possible with every moment in order to carry out my functions as a human and a carer.

Watching this video made me feel like I'm mostly a type A but do have some tendencies of a type B as well. I got curious and I know internet quizzes aren't always accurate but I found one and decided to take it while watching this video, the quiz agreed with my thinking...I'm like right in the middle

I am definitely type A! However, since I started having serious health issues, I had to squeeze my personality into the B Type behaviour to be able to be happy with less success and be content with the small things in life. It's not perfect but this has to do for now. So I guess depending on the circumstances "Personality Types" can change (or be changed) drastically.

I think I'm a mix, but mostly type B. I spend most of my time watching UA-cam and/or anime. I'm a very high achiever, but I dislike working and tend to be a bit lazy. I do get everything done, but with stuff like practicing flute or piano, I sometimes just don't. I am ambitious, I hope to write a book and change the world in some way, but again, I'm also kinda lazy. I always take charge and am very unaccepting of different ideas with stuff like group projects. Religion and ish I don't care what you believe. But, if I need to make a decision, I'm really indecisive. So I dunno. Maybe when I'm older one will become more prominent. I'm only in middle school.

Its funny how personalities are different among siblings, do parents pass on their personality to their children or is it just random? I am very type B, very mellow, go with the flow, carefree and don't get caught up on detail nor stress very much. Slow and steady wins the race for me. My brother on the other hand is extremely type A, everything must be done now and the way he wants it done, he is very irritable when he has a deadline and he stresses over everything, sometimes he has these anxiety-rage fits when he doesn't meet a goal or something doesn't turn out as planned. While I have never thrown a tantrum in my entire life, not even as a toddler. He wants to finish college in 3 years while I am planning to take 5 years, our view on life is so drastically different even though we are family.
+Mochi Chan my little sister's behavior fits perfect with your brother, and i'm actually a type B... after thinking about it a lot, and in comparison with another families, i realized that personality is neither random or inherited by parents... personality actually depends on how you where raised, wich stimulus where you given as a child, and the personalities of the people you know... when a person is born, his personality is null. so, when you grow up and learn things, your personality gets formed, based on external stimuli... so, it is still pretty random in the non mathematic meaning of the word :d

Then there's me who spends most of my time on the computer like my bro, doing everything last minute, not seeking for the best but if I do get it on the way, cool ! Even if I make a schedule, I just don't follow it really, I'm more easy going unless I'm stressed for school work or something I _need_ to do. But I'm not completely type B either, I have parts of type A, competitive, easy to piss off, but I can also forgive easily (and not easily.) But pretty much on the chill side. :p
+Mochi Chan Personality is largely genetic (not quite as much as intelligence though), but it's much more complicated than as described here. There are probably other personality traits that you are more similar with brother. What would be more telling is how your traits relate to your parents.
+Nimlouth Sindorei That is incorrect, psychologists have been studying this for a long time, and have shown that your notion of tabula rasa is not based in statistical fact, just anecdotes. Within the family, there is a huge bias because you are more familiar with them than other people, so you can better nuance out the differences between you, while other people you interact with are seen as more simplified, more similar than they actually are.

One of the quizzes sorted me as a type a, and another sorted me as type b. I do actually have characteristics of both, based on the video. I tend to stress a lot, and often feel pressed for time, but at times, I can be the most lazy laid back sob.
