    You guys should constantly talk over each other and repeat each other. Try that.

    Very informative video guys! Please don’t take this the wrong way, and I’m very sorry if I offend you, but I would recommend taking turns to speak. I understand you’re both excited to talk, but it can be very distracting when you’re both trying to talk at the same time.

    Why don't you share the links to these places? That would complete your video. Did you stay in Tokyo?

    Very interesting review video. But I also have a suggestion for both of you not to speak all at once. It makes it hard to understand what you are trying to say. Also can you please share the link to the last place in Shinjuku. Thanks

    Stop talking over and interrupting him, so jarring. Couldn't get more than 2 minutes into the video because of it.

    As an Airbnb Junkie, I will tell for next time, if you get a dirty apt, just called the host and let them know. Sometimes they hired people to clean and not always do everything as they should! If you are not sure about the reviews, look for “Super Host” Can’t wait to try Airbnb in Japan next year! Great videos!

    I wish you guys shared the links to where you stayed. I'd love to have the last one as my first airbnb experience.

    Thanks for heads up. I wanna say, at time it's tough with you two talking over each other, but 8:55 was such a cute chemistry moment that it makes it perfectly okay.

      My family and I used AirBnb for our Tokyo trip back in November 2016. It was also our first time to use airbnb. My advice is to read through the reviews. I had based my decision on the number of reviews and comments and was happy with that decision. Website is www.airbnb.com

    when you were choosing your airbnb's did you use the superhost filter? I'm wondering if maybe that would filter out the ones with problems such as cleanliness etc

    • @TwoTravelLares
      @TwoTravelLares  7 років тому

      We didn't, that probably would have been a really good idea though. Luckily only one out of the six airbnbs we used ended up being bad. On our next trip we will be selecting our airbnbs a lot more carefully!

    What areas did you stay in?

  • @buttarain27

    The room with the green decor that you guys said was pretty dirty, I actually came across that location when I was searching on AirBnb and there were comments stating the exact same things you said, about the host and the place. I even remeber the hosts name (I won't post it here though). Yeah, hosts really need to be careful about their apartments, word travels fast in the Japan traveling community.

    would you recommend airbnb for a new traveler? :0 I've read that it's a legal gray area in tokyo but from your vids it looks super nice.
    EDIT: lol, right after posting this comment I saw that airbnb has just been legalized nationwide as of yesterday. nice

    • @TwoTravelLares
      @TwoTravelLares  7 років тому +2

      We actually found out that is was a gray area after we got back, we felt really lucky that we didn't have any problems with it. That's awesome that it's completely legal now! We really think that the space that you get, that most places provide pocket WiFi, the low price compared to hotels, and the areas you get to stay in really outweigh the fact that you will have to clean up after yourself in an airbnb. It was really cool going back to an apartment instead of a hotel room, and the hosts are usually very helpful with anything you ask them. I would say just make sure to stay at ones with many reviews, so you get a general idea of how the place will be.

    how many G's are on the pocket wifi? do you think it was enough or did you have to compromise on internet use? I know it is super important for google maps and getting around

      AbsoluteKiNg92 we always got the pocket wifi. Invaluable, and you can post them in the airport when you leave.

      We are too! It was really sad for us making the last video, especially looking back at all the videos we had made and remembering the trip. We are really happy that you enjoyed them! We will still be making videos though, some like this one and we might try and do some vlogs in LA if people are interested in it until we go back to Japan.

      I'm sorry! It looks like the host just took down the listing for the apartment! Maybe she will put it up again though, this is the link to all her listings and reviews. www.airbnb.com/users/show/31340850#reviews . The name of the apartment was cozy, clean , samurai.
