    Love the 24 Mustang GT: the design, the Magneride, the V-8 sound and power, the handling, the new interior. Well, just about everything
    But the Mustang has one problem and for me it's a big problem: MPGs. 14 MPG in the city means if you drive it like you want to, you'll be getting 11-12MPG in the city. That's just not good enough. Anyone can put a large displacement engine in a car and get performance. To get power and reasonable MPGs takes engineering.
    My BMW M240i with Xdrive AWD also gets sub 0 to 60 times and is listed to get 23 MPGs in the city. I get 20 MPGs and I drive the car hard when I can.
    If the mileage was better, it would be a much tougher decision. I actually test drove a Mustang before I bought my 2022 BMW M240i. And I owned 2 GTs sometime back.

      A 2023 BMW M240i with BMW's AWD xdrive weighs 200 pounds MORE than the Mustang GT. Reviewers are getting sub-4-second 0 to 60 times with C & D getting the best time at 3.6 seconds. And with Xdrive the BMW will most likely best the Mustang off the line and to 60 because there is never any wheel spin. And the BMW is listed at getting 23 MPG in the city, the Mustang is listed at getting 16. That is a SIGNIFICANT difference. The BMW is "heavier", as fast to 60 if not faster and gets 7 MPG "more" than the Mustang GT. That takes engineering not just displacement. With options, both are priced about the same. The Mustang is great I test drove one. But the above are the reasons I selected the BMW M240i.

Plus you can with the Dark Horse and select the best manual made- a Tremec. Styling is subjective so that’s individual choice. If you’re on a budget you’ll select something else because they’re both expensive especially with options! I have owned both and they are great cars. One is more macho-,GT Mustang the other is more luxurious and refined. Both are comfortable cruising around. If you choose either you’ll be happy… until you get bored!😊

      @@FuncleChuck what I’m talking about is camera angle. He said that the viewers could see that his knees were digging into the backseats. And, no, that isn’t apparent. I have seen plenty of reviews on this channel where it LOOKS like there is no space and he will comment that there is plenty of room. Without the right angle you just can’t see.
      And, in this specific case you could take advantage of the lift back to position a camera behind him.
      My point is that he seems to think viewers can tell, and we cannot.
      There was a car he looked at recently where he has to take his shoes off to show the backseat, then he commented that while there wasn’t room for feet there was plenty of room for knees, and the whole thing appeared to be tiny and cramped and uncomfortable.

    I wish every review wasn’t a Mustang with recaro seats. I hate those seats I like regular seats the Mustang comes with they feel more premium. Needless to say I’m actually looking for a new car soon and have looked at 4 series BMW and actually this mustang GT in red I’m actually leaning more towards the mustang in terms of pricing and performance I love German cars but this car with its looks its tech and engine it’s hard to pass up. Admittedly I’ll prob get a 10 speed I drove a lot of manuals I think I’m tired of them. I need to test drive this GT tho to finalize my decision

    At what speed does that silly wing have any measurable or performance benefit? I have a 2019 convertible and it is very quiet and has more rear seat head room than the coupe, though I would never put anyone over 5'2" back there. The first gen, the Mustang II and the fox body all had a real backseat. In recent models it is a great place for the groceries or camping gear. The convertible with the top up is also like a classic two-door hardtop, no 'B' pillar.

    • @winc06
      @winc06 Рік тому +1

      7500 RPM engines lack low end torque. It is not a low RPM torque machine. "like a turbo" is probably wrong because a turbo once on boost will give much more low end torque over most of the RPM range.
