Someone (didn't come up with who yet) is researching Marissa's death from years ago because they don't believe what the investigators said and find out about Hanna. Somehow they find them and in the process kill her husband. So Hanna and her child goto bring to light the human experimenting while this person tries to kill them. Eventually finding out her child has been pass the enhanced DNA. I don't have the full story but this is the outline.
