I like the bright orange studio with orange lights shining on you with the dark shots from blue hour, really gives contrast and also lets my eyes rest between the shots.
Wow! This is an amazing tutorial on how to capture cinematic footage during blue hour. I love how you explain everything in detail, from the perfect camera settings to the editing tips. I can't wait to try this out on my next shoot
Thank you Jeven! One question: my Canon R8 base ISO is 800, do you suggest to increase the ISO during blue hour, or should I stick with the base ISO 800?
Stick with the base at first. Use your other settings to bring more light into the camera. If you still don't have enough then start increasing your ISO as the light drops. You'll find a point when you have too much noise in the shot and its not usable anymore

Great share. We are now in winter, so sunset is 5.30pm and sunrise at 7.30am so we don't have to stay up too late or 2 early.

Hello, thank you very much for your videos, they're really great. In this video at 06:32, you talk about your 35mm at 1.4. Is it a fixed focal length?
Yes a 1.4 is typically a prime lens
Great video Zve1 is 640 and 12800.
