That's so awesome to see a pro fighter building an everyman's racecar and actually having an in depth understanding of the parts going in. Most celebs would just throw money at some "custom" shop and make a bling-mobile but he's built it with all the right bolt ons. This is almost exactly the parts list I'd like to put on my coyote s197.
I didn't know Barnett was a car guy....

"This is the last year of the S197 body style." Well, S197 was the chassis, which underpinned the 05-14 Mustangs.
I will not be correcting him to his face though.
Lane House That was the last year of the S197 I body style. The face lift S197's are called S197 II and began in 2010 and ending in 2014.
I have never once in my life heard anyone refer to them as anything other than S197.
@@LaneHouse theyre all s197...literally only time ive ever seen s197 2 mentioned by anyone was in that comment. They're all s197 the 10 up are just facelifted its the code for the chassis has nothing to do with the body itself.

S197 ended in 2014, not 2009...
AyoPinks ! So what is a 99 if it's not an SN95? Or a 2010 if it's not an s197? I just don't see how a new front and rear bumper makes it a new chassis model number. If that's true what is the model number, and what is your reference?

You guys should try using WD40 for burnouts. It spins the wheels more than water.

Chris Insanity i always heard to use bleach, or brake fluid(Hollywood effects) but i saw tires that burnt blue on burnouts.. mind blown

Yes 05-09 and 10-14 are always different categories. Obviously, you're not going to fit 09 parts on a 14. No one ever said they were the same body. But they are the same generation. They're both S197s. They both use the same platform. S197 is from 05-14 model years
Yeah the S197 is 05-14. Even though they did a slight body redesign its still the s197 they never changed the name after the redesign until the 15 model with the s550.

Great video. Cool dude. Super car. I’ve recently become real interested in the Gt500’s. Finally someone who validated my wondering why nobody with a GT500 is switching to the R888’s. In my experience they’re a great choice for hooking up big torque and making a dangerous car safe
