My family and I visited Turkey when I was a little girl. It was one of our favorite places! The people there are very nice people and very respectful.

Just watched your video on Balat. This has convinced me to book a trip today. Istanbul looks less scary than I thought. Wonderful video. I am a 64-year-old female solo traveler but I’m sure I can do this.

Hi lady, I am a Turkish guy. Every country has dangerous places and safe places.. Just don go so drunk where you loose control there alone and and also dont travel at night in dark empty streets ( I guess this is the same rule for every country for a tourists). Once you learn your way around, its all good. Turkiye is one of the most misrepresented country in the world. Watch out for taxi drivers and sellers on old bazaars cause they talk to you like you have to get in there :). Try to eat where it feels like non-touristic restourant where you find prices on the menu.. Enjoy..
you can only find luxury in dubai
but you can find richness, history, culture and good food in Istanbul.
So true however Dubai is a great city too. ☺️
Dubai is not in my Bucket list..Turkey is!

how did your trip go? I am a solo female traveling there in a month so I am researching now :)
The ropes attached to the laundry hanging in the middle of the street are pulled back and forth by the pulleys in both houses facing each other and the laundry is hung. It is reassembled in the same way.

11:17 they take those laundry back with the rail system,they pull the rope back with the help of a pulley.

Do you have to prebook buses and taxis or can you just decide a few days before like i wanted to go to cappadocia but not sure when exactly becasue i will be in istanbul for 10 days
