My daughter just had her gallbladder removed and she is only 27. My understanding is that the liver is diseased as well. Leaving your diseased gallbladder in is potentially deadly. You can develop pancreatitis, your liver can fail, and you can develop cancer or gangrene. If it is infected, your gallbladder can also burst and spread the infection throughout your body. Once it is removed, though doctors don’t tell you, it will be a change of lifestyle forever. You will have to take care of your liver for life. Diet will have to be different. No more junk food, fried and fatty foods. No process foods. Forever. Unfortunately people get right back to the old diets and routines and then they pay the price.

Omgosh why didn't I hear this before I got my Gallbladder removed. Why oh why Doctors never tell people before surgery about this. I guess it's all about surgery money. Wow, Excellent video, although. It's too late for me the diet information is just what I need. So, Thank you

Unfortunately doctors are not thought about healing, it’s unfortunate just like the appendix........it’s part of the lymphatic system. The gallbladder stores and concentrates bile, without it you will never digest animal fats the same way, meaning you will deficient in fat soluble vitamins for the rest of your life

This is the best information I have seen regarding living without a gallbladder. I had mine taken out 12 years ago and was one of those situations where the doctor had made no reference whatsoever as to changes that would be required. I have suffered with diarrhea almost immediately after eating each meal and throughout the day. Making it difficult to work in a professional environment. Seems to be regardless of what I eat. Going to try Ox Bile. Thank you so much for the information

So glad I found this video. I still have my gallbladder. But I have stones or a large stone, not sure. My doctor has known about this stone for at least 3 years and did not mention it to me. I would have changed my diet sooner. When I realized it was my gallbladder making me ill, I just went vegetarian, mainly because veggies and fruit didn't make me sick. She did mention my liver numbers were elevated but she wasn't concerned.. WTF? I'm not here to buy you a car! Lol I don't want meds. I want a pathway, so thank you, thank you, for sharing your wisdom.

Hi I’ve recently had mine taken out. My Gaul stones were very big. Starting to block to the bile duct.
Thank you for this information I keep arguing about this! When I had my operation. I asked what foods that are safe. I was told to eat what I like. Needless to say I cannot do that. I eat only small meals, take digestive enzymes. I’ve lost 4 stones in weight. I’m staying on low fat small diet. For life.

I'm having mine removed in 2mos and every doctor has told me I'll be fine and there's no real risk..I have been in extreme pain for several years so I know surgery is necessary but watching this made me mad because I feel I've been lied to because I've never heard any of this..After all I've been through the last 5yrs is nothing compared to the prospect of diabetes.. :( Everything you're saying makes perfect sense,I know I have a cyst on my liver but none of my doctors have really addressed this..My problem is,I have a bad stomach and colon so things like cleanses make me sooo sick and I've tried raw food diet and my belly seems to hurt more,so I feel kinda stuck as to which diet switches I need to make that will actually agree with me..Thanks for the info!

Jennifer Francesca I'm having surgery in 2 days and I'm so scared of this next phase of my life because I've dealt with stomach issues since birth so I was thinking this would be the magic cure but seems to be just another hurdle to overcome..I've already given up so much over the years because my system just won't allow it..I already don't eat bread, most dairy, gave up sodas some years back, seems I'm developing an allergy to chocolate because after I eat it my tongue and throat feel burned,so this will be an interesting journey of figuring out what I can eat because I struggle now doing that and sounds to me I'll be even more limited..I drink Ensure sometimes so I'm hoping I can at least tolerate that to get some nutrients in me but I got a feeling this is going to be a bumpy ride..
Thank you for responding and I'll start my food diary right away..

Hi there! Sure hope you did well with your surgery! I'm 52 and I had gallbladder surgery when I was 24. I've done a lot of trial and error on eating throughout the years and what I've found that works best for me is something no one ever talks about and that's removing ALL forms of oils and fats from our diets. So that means all animal products: all meats even fish and chicken, all dairy products and eggs. I've also removed all refined oils from my diet.. even so called "healthy fats".. no such thing exists for people like us. I've removed all processed foods (anything in a box or package), all refined sugars, sugary drinks and sugary products. I've removed all natural fats: nuts, seeds, avocados, coconuts and olives. Also no spices not even black pepper. I'm juicing a lot of whole vegetables and fruits and sipping on those to give my digestion a break from having to work all the time while giving me the nutrients I need from nature and finally.. when eating fibrous foods.. I eat slowly and chew a lot and stop before getting full. Eating at restaurants at this point is just pointless.. no one else knows how painful fats and oils are and that's usually the main ingredient in cooked restaurant foods. Eat at home as much as you can and just think in terms of oil free, fat free bland, puree' and juiced foods.. Hope this information helps 💕 One more thing: I'm finding I feel better when eating mono meals.. eating one food group at the time.. 😊

Jill Hollon Thank you kindly for the info..I'm 2wks post op and trial and error is definitely what I'm doing..I'm finding that I can eat most fruits so basically that's all I've been eating.. :D I had already cut alot out my diet long before surgery because of other conditions so cutting a few more won't be that terrible for me..I do have a juicer but my doc says not to juice too much because it deprives the body of needed fiber..I've heard you can actually use the pulp from juicing in recipes..

    • @Chill_Jill
      @Chill_Jill 6 років тому +1

Whisper McGaughy You're very welcome and thank you for responding and sharing your thoughts as well.. I'm glad you're able to eat fresh fruits! I'm trying to go as fruitarian as my body will allow 😊 There are people who get all of their calories and nutrients from fruits and I'm researching those You Tubers now.. When we eat a piece of whole fruit or vegetable, it requires the body to start the digestion process which is the biggest energy consuming process in our body. The stomach extracts the juices from the fiber and absorbs the nutrients from the juices and then the remaining fiber has to travel through our system to be eliminated. Juicing allows your body to immediately absorb nutrients without requiring the digestion process to take place. That's one reason people go on juice cleanses. To detoxify the body and the organs while giving the digestive system a break. Fiber does help you feel full if you're hungry and aids in the detoxification process as well.. Fruit smoothies are a good option as well 😊

Can you clarify that the pancreas is now being used more?. From my understanding the liver still makes the bile but the pathway is still through the common bile duct and meets the pancreatic juices still at the ampulla avatar into the intestines. So I'm just trying to understand what you mean by now the pancreas is the new pathway?

I just had ERCP to remove gallstone blocked in common bile duct and to put a stent.
While writing this, I'm in difficult recovery process due to pancreas inflammation.
The doctor strongly recommend to remove my gallbladder by laparoscopy in 2 - 3 weeks.
There is 2 large size stones in the gallbladder.
Having watched this video I wonder if detox will save me or no choice other than removal.

I have always had certain foods make my stomach hurt and took Pepcid AC or rolaids to get a little comfort. I was going to a specialist for an MRI on my back for pain I'd had a long time and found out I had a gall bladder full of stones. I had been having some trouble with bloating I didn't remember ever having before, and started having more pain. Then one evening about 2 to 3 weeks later I was taking Pepcid AC, Rolaids, and liquid gas medicine to try and help my stomach calm down. I had never had to take more than one of those at a time, so I knew something was diffantly wrong. The next morning as soon as I woke up, my stomach started swelling out and it seemed like I'd been blowed up like a balloon. It was also starting to feel very painful. It just kept feeling worse, and after the night I'd had I couldn't take it anymore. I got my daughter to take me to the ER. Thanks to my Dr for finding the gall bladder stones I was able to tell them at the ER about the gall bladder stones that showed up on the MRI I'd had 3 weeks ago. And that helped the ER Docter know where the pain was coming from and relived a little of my pain until I could have a CT Scan to see if any of the stones were blocking the bile ducts, and they wasn't. But I had developed pancreatitis and my numbers that were supposed to be 50 to 100, were up to 6000!!! In order to operate and take out my gall bladder, they had to get my numbers from my pancreatitis down. To do that I was put on IV fluids only, no water even. They said that was the ways to get those numbers down. And finely 4 days later, they dropped from 6000 down to 94. Then 2 days later my gall bladder was finally removed. That was 2 weeks ago and I've had some pain depending on what I eat, but I think I can handle it as long as it doesn't hurt like the day I went to the ER......good luck everyone!!!

I would have at least tried to do something about it..... But the people near by me aren't aware of your information about how you can flush your galdblladder stone.... And so it made me believe that it is impossible to flush the same... And the saddest part is I wasn't having any problems with my condition of galdblladder stone only that they were present and little big... I didn't even have a pinch in my stomach and no pain at all.... But people saying me it is impossible and even doctors would scare me of the me problems I could have in future, if I hadn't removed it now... And now I am just dying day by day.... I can't eat.... There is not a single day where I don't go to the bathroom six times or more... Ibs.. Constipation.. Acidity... And lastly I am facing problems with urination..... Every problem is with me.... I just want to live a normal life like before.. Plz help me out....

I’m recovering from a very long overdue cholecystectomy this week. I had already made proper diet and lifestyle changes, in addition to taking two types of anti cholesterol medications. After suffering from Acute Pancreatitis that put me in the hospital for a week last year, an enlarged common bile duct, repeated ERCP’s with biopsies, me losing 25 pounds PRIOR to that and doing everything else within my control, my surgeon FINALLY agreed that I more than met criteria.
I realize I am not a typical case, but this was all in the course of SIX years as well, partly due to I have Fibromyalgia and my previous surgeon kept blaming my symptoms on that and my Chronic Pain. I also have followed either vegan or vegetarian diets for the majority of the last several years as well. I just wanted to give my perspective since not all doctors jump in and yank gallbladders at the drop of a hat. In closing, I can already notice a difference to the positive, thank God! Good luck to anyone else who is suffering like I did.

Judy Rowland Hi Judy! Thank you for your reply. I also did the Keto diet about 10 years ago because I was told that Keto was the best diet for the human body. I'm finding that science has proven for the past 50 years that the opposite is actually true. Fatty plaque starts building in our arteries at the age of 10. Plaque is formed from cholesterol and saturated fats from all animal products and refined oils leading to heart disease (and strokes).. the #1 killer in America for the past 90 years. I don't feel restricted in any way. Science proves that the top 15 killers in our country can be reversed and prevented by eating foods grown from the ground and in their natural form. Certain cancers have been naturally reversed by eating only fresh raw fruits and vegetables or the juice from them. I'm currently in the middle of an amazing dry fast and water fast combination with a few sips of watermelon juice inbetween and I feel completely amazing!! I'm currently researching the Fruitarian lifestyle during my fast. It's based on the concept that we as humans are a tropical species and originated from the tropics and lived primarily on tropical fruits. The health benefits of an all fruit diet are never-ending! People have reversed all of their health issues naturally as Fruitarians (even diabetes) and have massive amounts of energy~ I'm looking forward to living a life full of energy and vitality and eating sweet juicy fruits all the time 😊 peace and blessings always 💕

Let me tell you if your gallbladder isn’t working right it can cause gallbladder cancer and/or liver cancer you a lot a time die from the cancer. You don’t die all most anytime from the removals of gallbladder. I had so many stones in my gallbladder they couldn’t be counted I ask if the stones could be removed and they said they will come back. I didn’t eat fried food, salt or sugar. Also if a stone or more then one stone gets stuck in a tube that goes to the liver it will cause cancer

I had mine taken out almost 3 years ago and have been seriously ill every since. The dr that removed it said I had 7 stones but my gall bladder looked good. But the reason I went into the ed was because I was so sick and come to find out I was septic, but the only thing that they could find wrong was gall stones and I had to wait 2 days before surgery to bring down the infection and fever before they would do surgery. I woke up 2 weeks later on life support and had pneumonia and fluid around my left lung and have been in and out of the hospital many times since then and on life support 3 times since and I’m still not better. I lost down from 147lbs to 77lbs in a few months and am gaining weight back slowly but I stay sick all the time even though I try to eat right. Hi there! I'm so sorry about your health situation.. No more junk foods or fast foods. I've also removed all natural fats: nuts, seeds, avocados, coconuts and olives. Also no spices not even black pepper. I'm juicing a lot of whole vegetables and fruits and sipping on juices to give my digestion a break from having to work all the time while giving me the nutrients I need from nature and finally.. when eating fibrous foods.. 😊

What about if you have no gallstones but there's a gallbladder polyp? Is it always advisable to have removal surgery even if it's less than 10 cm? Does the taking of a statin help (or hurt) the condition? Liver function enzymes are currently at normal levels, no fever, no chills, no vomiting, but I do have nausea at times and intermittent pain that I feel moreso while lying down.

    • @EGoksy

I was diagnosed with a polyp last week .. it's 0.503 cm (no polyps noticed 2 years ago on last check with Echoscopy, when i was in ER because of bloatedness, pain in intestine, stomach in 3AM).. after 6 months i will have to be checked again to check if it grows .. if growth is more then 2 -2.5 mm it may become as cancer. The only option as i understand is removal of gallblader. Not heard of any biopsies or removal of polyps from gallblader. As i understand after 1cm polyp develops its own blood circulation and risk of developing gallblader cancer increases. THIS WAS NOT TOLD TO ME to be clear ... nothing was explained i had to search for other doctors talking about polyps and problems associated with them. Waiting for tomorrows visit to family doctor to explain the results. Don't now how to continue on KETO, because it based on more fat intake, if surgerie would be performed.

bile finding a 'pathway through the Pancreas' is not correct. That may occur prior to removal blockage of bile flow from the Liver can result in build up of bile within the Liver and backflow up into Pancreas; dangerous. After removal the path of bile is down to small intestine. Issues then different. Yes, good vegetable oils such as coconut needed for fat soluble vitamins. Bile not concentrated and stored any more so need smaller amounts spread out over more frequent meal times. Experiment to see how much (oil/fat) can be digested and assimilated without causing upset lower down from undigested oil/fat. On another note: now we know the brain is plastic changing all the time why not other organs - and allowing for growth of new gallbladder, I ask. The medical answer is no, it cannot regrow. Just note that as the typical medical response. There is a reason yogis hid away form society at certain times - not making a show of expended longevity and regrowth of hair , repair of organs etc.

Rather than gettin surgery, my natural path suggested I take LV-GB complex after every meal for a year and then re-scan and see if it’s dissolving the stones. I just posted a video on my channel if you want more information but bile salts can dissolve the stones about 1mm a month in manny people according to studies I’ve read.

you are giving misleading information. gallbladder duct and common bile duct merge before the pancreatic location. They both end up in the small intestine but the trick here is what comes from the liver isn't concentrated enough unlike the stored bile comes from gallbladder, so it might not be adequate to digest fats fully. Diabetes and insulin production from beta cells is totally different story.

I had 22 mm one and they did a laparoscopic surgery to remove it and I am fine.. Surgery is done 3 months ago on 24th June, 2019. I had cramping in my stomach just once in 3 months and that too because of some fatty foods and gravies. Now I am too conscious about my diet.

I saw your video which is given more clear details.its given more information about after removing gallbladder what we should do. I’m vegetarian I want to know what kind of fat we should not eat and what types of fat we should eat. What about the pure caw ghee, coconut oil or extra vergine olive oil, canola cooking oil which one is best. Please help out me

I only have 1 stone but have multiple polyps. I had mine removed because doctor said some polyps would result into cancer but not all. I don't want mine to be removed but no choice.

Hi Mr. Luke, what about staying hydrated? Is it ok to drink a cup of water every two hours or drink a larger amount every 5 hours?
I had one large stone that was causing pain, and had a hard time finding research on non-surgical treatment of large stones. Can you speak on that?
