Hey there, I've 8000 games on steam, and I'm the 2nd game collector from India on steam. And tbh, after watching the entire video, and being a game collector myself, I completed 154 walkthroughs on my 980 then 3080 then 3080TI. I love gaming, and tried finishing series as well. I don't play MP games since i find it time consuming, and 3080TI thodi 1-2 game khelne ke liye liya hai lol. Still good videos for newbies. And if you think I'm lying about 8000 games, Proof is on my channel's community post, just scroll down below. Once a gamer, always a gamer. Gamer Forever.
I'm a huge games enthusiast and have 2100 games on Steam alone (plus more on Ubisoft, EA, Epic, emulated consoles and "free games"). I love reading and learning about games/gaming as much as playing them. Your video hit exactly where I've been struggling for past 4 years. Incessant collecting and being attracted to "good deals". This past year was particularly harsh because Publishers will hiking regional pricing everywhere so I wanted to grab games when they were cheaper. I also think there is good in every game, so I try to get all of them at once. That sort of mentality has escaped into real-life, so my thinking style and work life are hampered by it and I feel very stressed. Another point that hit me was "getting in habit of quitting". I have played UNTOLD amount of games but finished only some. I think that thinking also carried in real world and I have problem committing to certain work (quitting in the middle feels easier). I want to get into new hobbies, but my demanding job (and me getting tired easily) makes it harder. I've seen doing something else makes coming back to games even more rewarding. Finally great point on collecting experiences, I've disregarded things like travelling and hangouts are waste of time. But as I grow older, now I get their value. If you read it so far, thank you. I'm glad to find another Indian games enthusiast. I'm glad someone know about Snowrunner and Ori games other than myself haha.
I wanted to buy an iPhone. I had the money too, but I waited 3 months for a sale, Just because my current android phone was working fine. After 3 months when finally sale came, my mind was totally changed. I bought a decent Android phone and am happy to save at least 50K....
Really nice video.. not only from the perspective of spending money on games.. but I will also think twice before even spending money on literally anything... Thanks IG.. this is the reason we keep waiting for your quality content... Its worth the wait.
Very true advice. Your analysis is very practical and true. Thanks for making such contents. I am also waiting for a video where you will share your 32-inch monitor usage experience in day to day usage.
I literally spent 80k-1lacks on steam, epic over 5-6 years And now I dont have time to play games, I mostly play on weekends for 4-5 hours First game was tomb rider 2013 and yesterday bought spiderman 😂
Jo bhi points aapne rakhe, vo mujhe pehle se pata hai. But that's a human mentality that you want to hear that from someone else. Thanks for bringing up this thought in this this vdo. Appreciate a lot 🖖

One thing really touched me in this topic is enjoying the game should be main focus , not paisa usol mindset. PC should be capable but not necessary to use it's capacity max everytime
that's really a true advise Ig. I myself have 300+ plus games in my steam library and each sale I had this urge to spend money. But I have learnt the hard way that I was so stupid spending all that money and I haven't even played 75% of those games. Back then I was a student and now I'm working so I don't have much time to play either plus now I'm earning so I really know the real value of money. But that's some really nice advise that you have given to all the young gamers.
Yup same, I also can't resist sales😅 I brought tomb raider trilogy when it was free and because of less space, I'm not able to install it😁 I have pirated witcher 3, but now witcher 3 complete edition is 80% off in rs 200, so I'm going to buy it tomorrow😁😁
Very neatly conveyed IG,video lamba hota hai toh ek baar me khatam kar paane ke chance kam hai…par content aapka esaa tha ki 1 dinn baad bhi wapas aakar dekha video
There are some really cool games on XBox Game Pass which you should play after getting a subscription. 1) Star Wars Jedi Fallen order. 2) Yakuza series. 3) Resident Evil 7 : Biohazard 4) Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. 5) Fallout 4 6) Elder Scrolls Skyrim 7) Dishonored 1 and 2 8) Wolfenstein the new order 9) Doom Eternal. 10) Hitman Trilogy With a one year subscription these games will cost less than if you buy them.
Bhai me is video ko 10 bar like krna chahta hu, literally muje bhot pasand aayi ye video, me usually comment krta nhi hu pr i couldn't stop, i loved this video, so much value in this, financial decisions, personality development, habits, human behaviour, how companies work itne km time me kitni kuch value dedi bhai, keep up the good work!!
This video is so on point. Every point is relatable and I can totally agree that everything mentioned in this video I have done that during steam sale. Don't do it guyz bhot regret hota hai baad mai.
Bahut badiya video IG bhai, and I can totally relate to that point you mentioned about playing games in release order. I have that problem with Halo Series. I want to play Halo infinite but don't wanna play Halo 1 because it's too old. Aur ab us chakkar mein na Halo 1 khela na he Halo infinite. But apki advice sun ke lag rha sidhaa Halo Infinite he start karte hain phir.
I am buying games from Steam for past 10 years. And now things are change. Multilayer battle royle games are my first choice. I am big fan of story based campaign but for past 4-5 years battle royale games are dominating the market its quite gigantic. You are right IG about it. Many games people are buying but barely they play.
Boht hi badiya lagi ji video, kaafi young baache dekh te h aapko or jab aap jaisa koi creator unko yeh sab bata ta h ki paise ko sahi istemaal kaisa karna h boht aacha lagta h, lage raho IG.
I haven't even finished playing my free games in epic games launcher. Limited time and thinking about what work to do next just kills the mood altogether to sit and enjoy playing games for a bit. Having money and buying a good PC did almost nothing as if, I still remember being happy and playing games on a low spec laptop when I was young. Sad reality but nothing I can do about it.
Same here kind of .🙂.. mai 7-8 saal ka jab tha tab se resident evil movie series ka bhot bara fan hu. Last year maine pura re7 and re8 ka 8 hours gameplay nocommentry dekha aur aaj atlast off aaya so leliya. Abhi wo dono complete karenge phir aur kuch🙂
Aapka kehna bilkul sahi hai meri epic ki library mein 150+ games hai but mein gta 5 ,fall guys, valorant, pubg ,minecraft hi khelta hui baaki game toh bas rakhi hai

Bro, this is fantastic advise. To all gamers in their 20s - Please listen to this and start keeping this at the back of your head. Trust me, I have gone through the exact journey as IG said here and I am facing the same choice paralysis with deciding what to play. I have amassed such a big collection courtesy these sales and bundle giveaways. You will NEVER have enough time in your life to finish even 1/10th of these collections and there are so many more precious moments and responsibilities in life that take precedence. Of course I am NOT saying to never game. However, buy selectively and try to stick with a game for maybe 2 -3 hours before you decide to skip it for something else.

Best video by ig. Maine khud rule bana ke rakha hai ke jab tak game 300 ke niche nahi hoga main nahi khareedunga. Sab mere wishlist mein pade hue hain.
Steam offers refund if you've played the game for less than 2 hours or the date of purchase is within 15 days. But great video! You touched all the points!
Personally I buy only those game which I really want to play and it chances of getting crack is low...😅for example I recently want to play Tom Clancy breakpoint and it was launch in 2019 and it's chances of getting cracked is not possible so I buyed it and really enjoyed that too
Yes, appreciate what you have right now don't think too much for the future or else you might lose this precious present moments... And yes don't waste money, used wisely ✅
I used to be like that, but later realized what I was doing. Steam platform is very smartly made where you get some sense of satisfaction when you genuinely buy and own a game. Doesn't matter when you play it, at least you own it. I didn't want to wait for Steam sales, so I pirated Dead Space 1 and Dead Space 2 and completed both of them within 2 weeks and also enjoyed the games. Just for the sake of continuation, I pirated DS3 as well and played a bit of it but later decided to buy it but EA sells it really expensive in spite of its low game ratings. It's expensive even in Steam sales, considering how old it is and how unpopular it is.
My recommendations :- Detroit become human Far cry 3 Far cry 5 God of war Assassin's creed( brotherhood,3,4,black flag, revelation) Tomb raider If u r confused what to play just pick any one of these and I am damn sure u will enjoy it ...just pirate it no need to buy it .....
The only games I regret buying a bit are Half-Life 2 for 69 and Sunset Overdrive for 131. Although I only have 24 paid games out of 48. Advice Time: Watching its gameplay is the best way to know which game you'll love.
Dude... Half Life 2.... You're actually the first person I've found who didn't like the game. Let me guess... You couldn't get the story of what's actually happening around?
@@sumit92artist nah it's not like I didn't like it. I loved the gameplay and the story and yes I understood it. It's just that I regret because it didn't meet my expectations and I chose it over left4dead 2 which my friends play a lot, so back then I thought it to be a bad decision, but these days I'm thinking to try it once more About Sunset Overdrive it's also a good game but I thought it's more like get it on gamepass thing rather than getting it permanently. Total of Rs 200 might not be lot but I'm still a student.
I guess I get it. You're more of an actively engaged gameplay guy? You prefer more active stuff to do (like shooting) rather than exploration and figuring stuff out. Half Life games are indeed intended for people who prefer a story-driven action experience. Half Life 2 is my favourite not just because of gameplay, but because of the world it shoves us in and that things that are on stake .
@@sumit92artist It was about expectations. From the gameplay footage that I came across on youtube here and there (not the dedicated HL2 gameplay), I assumed Half-Life 2 to be a linear action-based game such as VCop 2 or COD (2003). I loved Fallout New Vegas, I knew it was an exploration-based game, and it even delivered less action, but still, I had fun playing cuz my expectations were right. Even Death Stranding's gameplay intrigues me and I'll play it once I get a new laptop. EDIT: I gave it only one chance, so I'll give it another to complete the game. I know why it's considered as GOAT.

Steam offers refund if you've played the game for less than 2 hours or the date of purchase is within 15 days. But great video! You touched all the points!
Thank you sir....... ❤️❤️
Very informative content...
My Rule for buying games on steam during sales is that when i buy games no gamer should cost more than 350/- rupees, either singularly or by average
This way you can buy 5000 rs game and then buy 10 games of 10 rs, this way average will be low
@@Ak-vo5jn Forgot to add, i Never spend more than 1000 bucks on a game... But yeah the logic of your calculation still stands
Same for Battefield and Call of Duty series. There is hardly 4-5 hrs of content but it costs over 2000 for even old games.
really honest Gamer i ever seen in youtbe
God bless you bhai you saved middle class boy's money thank you Bhai ❤️
I was also addicted to just buying games but now i have controlled my mind
My recommendations :-
Detroit become human
Far cry 3
Far cry 5
God of war
Assassin's creed( brotherhood,3,4,black flag, revelation)
Tomb raider
If u r confused what to play just pick any one of these and I am damn sure u will enjoy it ...just pirate it no need to buy it .....
It's just that I regret because it didn't meet my expectations and I chose it over left4dead 2 which my friends play a lot, so back then I thought it to be a bad decision, but these days I'm thinking to try it once more
About Sunset Overdrive it's also a good game but I thought it's more like get it on gamepass thing rather than getting it permanently.
